A few years have gone by since The Cullens, the Pack and all the visiting Covens had a show down with the Volturi. Some of the visiting Covens have decided to stay behind, others have gone back to their own lands, and some come back every so often to visit. Edward, Bella and Nessie are living happily in the cottage, and Jacob comes to visit everyday. It's nice having his best friend and his soul mate in his life. Nessie has grown considerably and her and Jacob are closer than ever. Carlisle and Esme still live in Forks. Jasper, Alice, Emmett and Rosalie do as well, but jet off to places unknown frequently for romantic getaways. Each couple is thinking of finding their own house in Forks.

Even though everyone seems settled and happy, there are still issues. Vampires come through often; they've heard of the Cullens, Nessie and all the visiting Covens and can't help but to see for themselves. The Volturi check in once in a while. They will always be around, and they will always want the Cullens and the unique gifts some of them possess. And even though it's down the road, there is the constant concern of their family and old friends aging while they still look the same.

Life goes on as usual in this small town. The humans still remain in the dark about the creatures that surround them. And the vampires and werewolves are still trying their hardest to have things stay secret.
