Description

James Carnis is an experienced Captain, he has been XO on the Stargazer, the Triton and the Mississippi. His previous Captaincies include the Mississippi, upon which he was promoted when his previous Captain was given command of another vessel, the Belfast and the Toruk before being reassigned once more to the newly constructed Pandora. He is tall for a human, and well built, having grown up on a heavy gravity world, he can also hold his own against an average Klingon in hand-to-hand, though any with superior training will outdo him. He wears his uniform neatly pressed and clean, maintaining proper duty and dress uniforms as required for different events. His original discipline was Tactical, and he retains a keen mind for tactical situations, though will refer to his Tactical Officer as per protocol. He also leaves most battle decisions to the Tactical department, only stepping in if he has something valuable to add, as would any Captain.

Personality

Carnis is level-headed, and calculating. He thinks his actions through before committing to anything, when given the opportunity to. He maintains constant commune with his Chiefs, knowing when to take their advice over his own.

Equipment

When Carnis leaves the ship, which is only when he deems it correct to do so, he wields a standard phaser and tricorder.
