Introduction
Four boys have known each other for about a year now, although the only contact they’ve ever had has been through a chat-room. That’s not to mean they’re strangers to each other. Once a friendship had been established, they began to use video chat. They’re friendship is as real as any other (more so than some). Recently, they all started high-school, and moved to a dorm building to do so. It wasn’t until after they had been accepted that they realised they were all going to the same school.
They are really quite different from each other, but they all have something in common. They all have a different incomplete charm, that has been given to them be a relative. Two have necklaces, with the charm as a pendent; the other two have bracelets with the charm on them.

Four girls have known each other for about a year now, although they don’t remember much from before that year began. Their memory begins with them waking up in a rather creepy dorm building. They quickly found that they could move through most solid objects, and were slightly…opaque, shall we say. They also found that they couldn’t leave the dorm building. In fact, the only thing they couldn’t go through at will is the outer walls, roof and ground. They were bound to the building.
They are really quite different from each other, but they all have something in common. They all have a different incomplete charm, that has been given to them be a relative. Two have necklaces, with the charm as a pendent; the other two have bracelets with the charm on them.
The story begins with the boys moving into the dorm. It’s been recently renovated, to allow students to move in again. There had been a fire about 13 months before this story, which rendered the building uninhabitable to anyone with a pulse. Most of the inside had been completely destroyed, but weirdly, the outer structure had been almost untouched. The cause of the fire was never discovered.
The building is two stories high. There is a lounge, kitchen, etc. on the ground floor. The rooms are on the second floor. There are 4 rooms, fairly large in size. There are so few rooms because the school wanted to make sure the building was secure, before they allowed a larger amount of students to move in. Extra floors are planned for construction if the building proves to be a worthwhile investment (the ‘guinea pig’ element was told in vague detail to the boys, who have to keep a weekly record of any disturbances or dangers. In return, their tuition is free, and they are allowed partial access to school facilities after hours.) All of the boys were also given various lessons on what to do in the case of various emergencies, such as first aid and even cases where self-defence would be required (much to their confusion).
They all shared one thought in particular, and that is that the principal was all too eager to ensure their attendance at her school, and particularly determined to get them to stay in that dorm…
The girls became very habitual, particularly when it came to which room the ‘slept’ in (after the renovations had reached that point). Because of their inability to leave, they have developed a patient attitude, and don’t bore as quick as they used to (some adjusted better than others). Their favourite (and only) hobby would be ‘people-watching’, which has improved their memory a lot (again, some more than others). They can change clothes, if they so wish, but don’t really bother for the most part, because they can only be seen by each other. When they do it’s usually out of boredom. They can change into anything that has been committed to memory, but their choices are quite limited due to their entrapment. They can interact with small electrical equipment, such as radios or lights (but not the TV, because it requires too great an electric field). Because of the music and light that can occasionally be heard and seen, despite the building being ‘empty’, rumours quickly spread about the building being haunted, which has led to the suspension of a few students that had went in for a dare.

Page smiled happily her eyes lighting up.
"Could i really?" she asked eagerly. She knew it would be fresh disappointment if she couldn't, but if she didnt try she would never know.
"Piano is a lovely instrument....melodies that move the world are made from such a simple instrument..." Page said with a grin.
"you are the nicest person ive met in a long time." Page said suddenly.
(sorry its short, writers block)

"Okay, I'll go get it then...and thank you...you're probably the nicest person I've ever met, for what my opinion is worth.", he said as he left the room, finding his bags and cases on the landing as expected. The guitar case was near the top of the pile, so that made him even happier. He wouldn't need to dig through everything. Bringing it into the room, he set it on the bed next to him as he sat down. He opened the case and held the guitar out to her,
"Here. Still wanna have a go?"

Page reached for the guitar but her fingers went right through it. She felt a crash of dissapointment wash over her, but she bit it back. She slid her fingers gently through her hair and stared loningly at the instument.
Suddenly she practically felt a lightbulb go off in her head. She closed her eyes and visualize the guitar under her fingers, beautuful and strong. She imagined the music she would play and put all her energy towards that thought. Abruptly the guitar let out a twanging sound. Page laughed happily though she felt tired and faded.

"Well...that was certainly odd", he said incredulously as he noticed Page starting to fade a bit. "Are you alright?",he asked, concerned. He moved slightly towards her, ignoring the cold as best he could and attempted to place his hand on her shoulder, out of instinct really. As expected, it went through, and he wondered if she would feel the kind gesture. He felt pretty useless right now: if any of his siblings had been like this i.e. upset, then he would have tried to help in any way he could. With ghosts however...well he didn't know where to start. Then again, does anyone know how to handle a situation like this? Somehow, I doubt it...

Sunlight filltered through the window, illuminating the dustt hat was floating around. Tezuka woke up sneezing. His feet went through a very cold air pocket, and he looked up, only to realize that he'd moved his feet through Bella. "Oops..." he said softly, but stopped when he realized she was asleep. He'd never seen a sleeping ghost before. Sitting upright, he watched her. She seemed so...peacefull. He smiled at the thought, rubbing the dtone his dragon rested upon. Kalpin was still asllep on the bed, his tail wrapped around his body.

Page smiled sadly. Her mind momentarily going back in time, her playing guitar and the girl from her earlier day dream singing into a hair brush in front of a vanity mirror. She shook her head.
"ya im okay" Page said as she shivvered when his hand went through her.
"Its just tough being invisable and intangable....its been a long time since we've had company...and even longer since ive seen a guitar..." she laughed.
"ah...i know we just met, and i have no right to ask but...will you...will you play something for me?" she asked as she rung her hands together, worried he would reject her.

Page frowned at his yawn and glanced out the window.
"Oh dear! im sorry ive been keeping you up....ill take a rain check okay?" Page said with a smile as she stood and stepped away from the bed.
"Get some sleep and we can pick this up tomorrow?" she offered as she drifted over to a chair and sat down. She didnt really know what to do. Should she leave the room? would it matter? She let herself fade enough so that she was completely transparent, barely visable.
"is this okay?" she asked not only refering to her being in the chair but being invisable.

"G'night...", he murmered and quickly fell asleep, the guitar still in his hands.

Page watched Riku sleep for a moment then sighed. What ws she supposed to do? what had she done before they had showed up? been lonely, thats what. She rolled her eyes and looked down at the book on the table where she had left it. It was still on the same page. She doubted she had the energy to turn the page so she just re-read the poem, over and over.

She smiled and looked down to Kaplin. "He's cute when he isn't trying to scratch you apart," she said with a chuckle and then a sigh. "I don't think he will ever get used to this... Boy, you better hope that you new school friends don't want to sleep over. A cat and a ghost in your room? The dean will have a field day with that." She smiled and looked back up to Tezuka, her eyes lingering on his necklace that he rubbed. She pulled herself so that she sat on her knees and leaned forward slightly to get a better view of the charm. "Gosh, it really does look just like mine. Wouldn't it be funny if they fit together?" she said with a nervous chuckle.

Wouldn't it be funny if they fit together? He looked down at his dragon, and then back at hers. "I think...I think they're supposed to." He absent-mindedly petted Kalpin, who stirred, opening one sleepy green eye, looking at Bella, yawned, and went back to sleep. Tezuka laughed. "See? Told you he'd get used to you. That's how you know he either considers you staying, or knows you'll be around a lot." Tezuka grined at her. "Gotta admit, this is not what I expected going to high school would be like. It's way better that I expected."

He sneezed.
Because his head shot forward when he did so, he ended up head-butting the back of Destiny's head. Clutching his head with one hand, he felt the grip on his other get tighter as she began to wake up...

"One day, you'll understand why you have only one half of the pendant."
The old, male voice flashed through his head, a glimmer of a memory long lost to him.

Bella's pale cheeks flushed to the last thought as she quickly rose in attempt to hide her blush. In trying to slide off the bed, her legs became twisted in her skirt from her haste causing her to tumble. Rather than falling to the floor, she leaned in the direction of the bed for the shortest trip down. With a soft pat, she landed forward, arms sprawled around Tezuka's figure saving her from a nose-dive. It was not the awkwardness of the situation that clouded Bella's mind into freezing in this position, it was that she could be in this position. She did not simply phase through him and hit the bed beneath him-- she could actually touch him.

Kalpin opened his eyes, yawning. "Mrow...?" The cat asked softly.

"Oh no," Bella said, leaning back slightly as she shook her head. "No, this can't be possible." Rising from the bed, successfully this time, she walked over to the window and slid her hand through the smooth glass as if nothing was there. This was not unusual as they had already determined that she could phase through anything, but it was unusual in the sense that her hand was outside. Her hand had slipped through whatever barrier had kept her inside prior to this event. Shock was written across her face as she turned back toward him. "Tezuka, I don't know how to say this. . . But Kaplin better get used to me fast," she said, still remaining next to the window.

[Literal translation: A Ghost can be left on this earth, becoming an earth bound spirit. They are usually bound to the place where they died. However, if they come into contact with an object of enchantment, specifically spiritual enchantment, the ghost can sometimes become bound to that object, or the bearer of that object. If so, they can freely move around a small area, usually around fifty feet, but no further from that to which they are bound. Once bound, they can come into physical contact to not only the object, but the bearer as well.]
He looked up at her, his red-tinged eyes excited. "I always though my grandfather was pulling my leg, that none of this stuff about enchantments and spirits being bound actually existed. But...he was right..."
