Introduction
Miroir is a large continent with inhabited lands placed in the cardinal points of the compass; Winter in the North, Summer to the South, Spring in the East, and Fall to the West. At the border of those lands lies the Great Forest, which covers all the middle of Miroir. Sometimes unlucky wanderers fall in through a mirror lake and are deposited randomly at either of the towns: Sumalia, Leafdrift, Frostinople, or Xuan Town. Because that happens, guilds of knights are set up to escort these strangers to the middle of the Great Forest, where lies another mirror lake, also the portal back home.
But it's been a long time since any of that ever happened...and this time, the number is four people; the most amount of strangers Miroir has ever seen.

Complete! We can now roleplay!
Rules
First rule you should know by know is that there are only 8 characters needed. They need my approval first.
Concerning the Plot:
-We will rp through the story in four stages.
1. Falling into the lake- where our modern campers meet for the first time and fall into Miroir.
2. Lost in town- where our campers enter a town in either of the four lands (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring.) This is also where they find the knight assigned to escort them out of Miroir. Read the intro for more details on that.
3. Traveling through dangerous land- where the knights and their wards fight through all the dangers in the forests to reach the heart of Miroir, another mirror-lake that is also the portal home.
4. Finishing the quest- where the campers make the ultimate decision to go home or stay back with the knights.
The four towns- Sumalia (Summer), Frostinople (Winter), Xuan Town (Spring), Leafdrift (Fall).
Concerning the Characters:
-If you have more than one character, the next has to be the opposite gender of the first. Two characters max to one person.
-Two girls and two boys to each groups, knights and misplaced adventurers each.
-Romance allowed if it is boy x girl. The romace can be knight x camper, knight x knight, or camper x camper.
-The knight assigned as an escort to the camper has to be the opposite gender of the camper.
-Knights can be Elven if you want, but campers must be human.
-Elves can have some magic. They should teach some to their human wards, but for a human it should be very limited.
-Knights must give weapons (sword, bow and arrow, spear, staff; choose one) and basic survival equipment to their wards! Otherwise, the campers won't be able to defend themselves and the Knights will have to do everything.
-One person to a town and land. No two can be both in Sumalia or Frostinople, for example, and there definitely cannot be three cramming together in Xuan Town. One camper to each town, I repeat. Same thing for knights.
-No mary sues! There should be at least several flaws to one character.
Character Skeleton (something along these lines):
Name:
Age: (from teenager to budding adult, which is 14-22)
Role: (camper or knight?)
Race: (can be either elf or human for knights only. humans only for campers.)
Personality:
Land: (Should go like this, ex: Frostinople, Winter. Choose a town and then the land that it belongs to.)
Bio:
Crush:
Extra:
The looks should be easy enough to take care of. I'd want a picture, of course.

OOC Notes
---
Aiyana walked quietly through the forest, contemplating on her parent's divorce and both their hestitation to take her in. As she shouldered the small camping bag she brought along with her for the hike, she also thought of how reluctant she was to choose either parent as her sole guardian. Did it have to be that way? Was there only two choices, both that she didn't want to exist?
Suddenly, at the point where she stopped, the forest began to thin and everything grew quiet. Strange, she thought, I heard so much birdsong back there. What's happened?
Immediately Aiyana began to worry that she had wandered into some dangerous place. Her grandfather did warn her to listen carefully for birdsong; if there wasn't any, then there had to be something wrong with the place. And the way the air seemed so still...
At the far edge of the grove, Aiyana spotted something glinting in the sun. She cautiously stepped forward, curiosity taking over, and when she reached the end of the trees, she found herself staring at a very beautiful lake. When she looked up, her purple eyes spotted three other people there as well; then a strong gust of wind blew her off her feet and she fell into the strangely reflective water...
OOC Notes
Being suffocated to death and pierced by glass seems more logical, Mason thought as he studied the stockstill water. When he looked up, he noticed that two other campers had come as well; ooh, and one was pretty, with long dark hair; but then another one came, a purple-haired girl who looked very flustered, and suddenly, she fell into the lake!
Before Mason could say anything, he too felt a push, and he too fell deep down through the seemingly impregnable glass...

"Huh?" she asked dazedly. "Who are you all? And...and where am I??" She quickly backed away from these sun-tanned people, but bumped against the foot of another person instead. When she looked around she noticed that they were in a circle all around her. Now that she noticed it, it was very hot here; like summer. Only in a tropical country. Aiyana began to panic; where was the forest? Where were the three other people she saw? Where was the camp? Where was her grandfather?
For the first time in a long time, she longed for an adult she knew to be there with her. But with all this curious poking and prodding that these people were giving her, and the stark reality of what happened, she knew she wouldn't get that wish.
OOC Notes
The man nodded his head in respect to the knight before him. "It's a girl, she wears strange cloths. She was just found in the street from what I understand."
Vinosi'phorian hummed in thought, perhaps a traveler from the winter lands had come by again. The heat was usually too much for the winter-landers, even when they took the precaution to wear cloths more suited for the heat. As he pardoned his way through the crowd what he found was not what he had expected. The human girl was not in garb traditional for any of the the four great cities or their numerous villages. He'd have to take her to the knights barracks, that was the logical thing to do, but for her sake he'd try to calm her down first. "Excuse me Miss." he said calmly even as he had to hold back his curiosity and the urge to question her thoroughly. "I'm Vinosi'phorian Eklinash, Knight of Sumalia. Who might you be?" He offered her his hand to help her up. No point in speaking down at her after all.
OOC Notes
She awoke to a bright and blinding light, a light to which shielding her eyes had no affect. After lying there in curious horror, the light started to dim, and shapes began to form the world around her. A man stood looking down upon her, a glint in his eye. He helped her up, and she looked around, amazed by what she saw. A nipping feeling made her jump, and she realized that Tom (who had gotten tired of being knocked around) had bitten her under the shirt in protest. Sighing, she picked up poor old Tom, and cocked her head at the man.
"Hmm... uh... who are you?"
OOC Notes
Addison trudged along the forest path to the lake. His parents had dragged him along on a "family camping trip". Despite his being over eighteen, as long as he still lived under their roof, they were going to see to it that he did more then just read. Addison loved books, and didnt see any reason why he shouldn't read. Okay, so he missed his prom and crushed his mom's dream of seeing him in a cute tux. He went to the party college his father wanted, but instead of hanging out with new friends and sneaking drinks, he stayed in his room with his text books. Why did he need people when books would never disappoint or betray him?
When he saw the lake, he smiled. His folks were so deturmined that he enjoy nature, he decided to humor them. He'd take a ride out on the lake, just to read. He could enjoy nature and still be involved with his latest fantasy novel. He barely noticed the people around the lake as he made his way to one of the boats. So intent was he on reading his next book that he didn't notice that the ground shifted and he was sinking with each step. By the time he came out of his musing to the danger he was in, it was too late.
"What the -" He struggled to release himself from the earth. The more he struggled, the faster he sunk. He had time to notice that a few others were in the same predicament. The earth jerked and he found himself falling and being sucked all at once into the lake. His last thought was, "I hope my books don't get wet," and the world went white.
Izzy Clements
The town of Leafdrift was normally very peaceful. Almost nothing happened there, and the most scandlous thing happened to Izzy Clements. A few months ago, she had the misfortune of being left at the alter by the love of her life. No one knew what happened to him. There was no evidence of a struggle in his house, no sign of a fight. He just...up and left. Since then, Izzy vowed to never trust anyone again. No one deserved it.
"Oh, Izzy, the Elders want a word with you!" A fellow Knight waved to Izzy as she passed. She groaned. The last thing she wanted was another pointless trek around the town. There hadn't been any problems in ages. It was just a useless exercise.
"What do they want now," Izzy asked.
"Just go, Izzy. They asked for you personally."
Izzy headed to the town square where the Elders were gathered. She was surprised to see them around a figure dressed in clothes not of Leafdrift. How could an outsider make it so far into town? This was interesting.
"Izzy Clements," said one of the Elders, "I think we have a job for you."

"Vino...Voni..." Aiyana shook her head, her panic obviously making her mispronounce the strange boy's long name, and taking his proffered hand said, "Mr. Knight...thank you, but can you tell me where exactly am I? Is this a part of the Park's entertainment or something?" In normal circumstances, she would have stuttered in response to him, but the urgency of her situation erased her shyness; for now. That only deepened when she saw that Vinosi'phorian had pointed ears!
"An elf?" she whispered.
OOC Notes
Emerald Azalea Oak sat high in a tree-content with life. It was one of the best days she'd ever witnessed in Xuan Town. As a result of it always being spring, flowers were constantly in bloom. They lined the streets and paths through the town and created beautiful meadows of color. There was no such thing as death among the plants here. Animals would die, but babies would be born soon after to take their place. The town was normally quiet, filled with people painting, writing, or reading. The only loud place within it was the Market, which Emerald kept away from when possible.
She was not particularly a people person. Though there were plenty of nice citizens, she just never took the time to befriend them. Why did she need friends anyway? In her world, all she needed to worry about was herself. Or if there was ever a stranger within the town, she would have to escort them out. But that was sure not to happen.
The soft breeze rustled the dazzling green leaves around her. It also tugged at her long silvery-white hair. She pulled it back to the right side of her head, placing it over her shoulder and letting it fall onto her lap. She closed her eyes and relaxed. Emerald began to hum a soft tune. It was from a song her mother used to sing to her. She had long forgotten the words, but the music haunted her memory every night before she fell asleep.
"Emerald! Emerald!" a young voice called from below.
Her bright sky-blue eyes opened instantly and she glared down at the young boy at the base of the tree. He was dressed in simple pants and a shirt. On top of his head was a red bandanna. She was not fond of the children in the town, as they would play pranks on her. They also seemed to know nothing. "Yes?" she asked the boy. It made her uneasy with this boy here-at the base of her tree calling up to her. What did he want?
The boy looked up at her, trembling. "T-there's something wrong. Father told me to come and find you. Please come," he pleaded.
Emerald restricted herself from rolling her eyes and lightly hopped down from her branch. She was free falling for a second, then landed and rolled on the ground-absorbing the impact. It wouldn't have hurt anyways, but it was better safe than sorry. She looked at the boy again, tempted to run off without him. She certainly had the speed and stamina to do so. He had also found his way here, thus he could find his way back. She sighed, then motioned for the boy to follow her.
As they walked down the path, through the scattered trees, she wondered what could possibly be wrong. Yes, she was a knight, but honestly-there were two other knights like herself. Of course, they were both male and liked to show everyone how much better they were than her. They were probably busy-yes that was it! She was only needed because she never had anything to do, never did anything, and knew a bit of magic. Emerald smiled slightly. This wouldn't be a painful mission at all!
OOC Notes
"Oh, god, I'm dead," Addison said. Looking around, he found his backpack. He eagerly opened it and saw his books, soaked and falling apart. "I'm dead and I'm in Hell." He shoved the bookbag away from him in disgust. He had spend a lot of money on those books, and they were ruined. It wasn't fair.
"Okay, Addison, think! What happened?" He stood up and started to pace, limping slightly from the ache that went all through his body. "You were at the lake, and then there was a light light. No, wait! I started to sink and the lake rose up to grab me. At least, I think that's what happened." He looked up and saw a squirrl looking down at him. "Great, I'm talking to myself."
He could see buildings not too far from him and walked towards them. He was mildly surprised to find himself in a small town filled with people in fantasy costumes. They stared at him as he passed, talking under their breath. He heard one say something about a knight. 'Great,' he thought, 'they think I'm a knight. This is cool.'
"Uh, Greetings, fair folk," he started, but that got greeted some hostility. It was then Addison noticed they looked like a few pictures he owned of elves. Maybe using the words 'fair folk' wasn't his brightest idea. "Um, I mean, Greetings good people. I'm...uh...a traveler from afar. I'm Addison...the great!" D&D and Tolkin never prepared him for this.
Addison was grabbed by a large, beefy man who dragged him to one of the houses. The man pointed to a boy and barked, "Go fetch Emerald."
"I don't suppose Emerald is the mayor's beautiful daughter destined to marry a mysterious stranger," Addison asked. At the scathing look he recieved, he muttered, "No, I guess not." He just prayed Emerald wasn't the nickname for the exicutioner's ax.
OOC Notes
As Emerald arrived at the boy's house, the thing she least expected was the stranger inside of it. She stood frozen in the doorway, but quickly recovered. Stepping across the threshold, she looked to the boy's father. "Is there a problem?" Emerald asked bluntly. "Has this boy, er, man I suppose done anything to harm your family, house or crops?" Her voice was dull and lifeless, as she had hoped for something more exciting. Though this person was a stranger, perhaps they had just come from a different part of Miroir. Perhaps this would just be another case of dragging somebody to the dungeon cells to await trial or execution.
The man shook his head. "Can't you see that he's a stranger to the town?" he asked Emerald as if she was oblivious to everything. He through his hands in the air and waved them around exaggeratedly. "You are a knight Emerald, not a good one, but a knight nonetheless. He'll need to stay somewhere and needs to be told what's going on."
Emerald rolled her eyes and sighed. Looking at the male stranger again, she realized that he was probably older than she was. Though she was an elf and would have many years to live, she was a very young one. She motioned for him to follow her and walked out of the house. She waited for him to come along, then started off towards her small house at the center of the town.
She inhaled deeply as they walked the streets, smelling all of the flowers in the meadows nearby and in gardens. She loved the smell of flowers almost as much as she loved climbing trees. Her favourite flower was an azalea, which is how she received her middle name. She started humming the lullaby tune again, completely forgetting about Addison behind her.
