My name is Evelyn Mathews, a werewolf and high school student. I've never been one to date, only to give support to my pack, my alpha, beta, delta, and omega, until the night that is, when we rage the war of the century between us and the vampires. I have no clue why it even started, but when I was unfairly turned into a werewolf in a pack, I was pushed into the war.

A war waged in the middle of the night in the depths of the forests near Yellowstone and by my high school, easy running distance. The vampires fight us when humans aren't an issue, when most are fast asleep, letting us fight together in amongst the trees, the screams and howls loud in the forest, all animals steering clear. But come morning, we become normal people, going to jobs and passing each other in the halls. Little did I know he was also the most popular boy in school.

I never loved a man other than my father or in friendship, never more than that. That is, until I met him, the vampire prince. His shocking red eyes probably made this happen to me, but I may never know.
