(I'll edit this later to include a lot more information and to reflect on what's currently happening.)


While I will be accepting almost any character, characters still require approval so I can see that you aren't trying to submit God or something. Really, all you need to have is a name to roleplay, as long as you explain your character while we're playing. New characters are always accepted.


Current (beginning of roleplay): The year is...irrelevant. The planet is P4444, otherwise known as Inanoretjk. It is a planet filled with pacifists; war is considered to be the greatest sin one can do. In the world's five-hundred-fifty-six year existence, it has only had one war before, and that was no where near the scale of the current war. The planet that initiated the war? P4445, otherwise known as Inanoretajke. The reason: the people of P4444 have recently discovered that their planet is filled with Nyiet, a very valuable material that sells for a crap-load of money; plus, it's renewable. P4445's residents, obviously, wants to have the planet for itself.

Inanoretjk is part of the USA (United Systems Alliance). Since the USA gets around 20% of all income made by Inanoretjk, it will do any thing within reason to protect it -- including pouring a lot of money and resources, like soldiers and machinery, into Inanoretjk, which has almost no soldiers or resources itself. P4444 has also been able to hire a lot of mercenaries, including some mildly-famous ones within governments. As it stands right now, it is unclear who will win, but it is obvious that each planet will suffer great losses.

That is the basic beginning plot. This going to be a roleplay where we all work together to create the universe around us, though I am still the boss, and I have established "things" that I've already made and cannot be changed. Here are some of them:

• Instead of magic, most people use kae. Kae is an energy that's derived from Cora, the very energy that makes up the core of existence, hence the name. Kae can be manipulated to do anything, as long as you're strong enough. Also, you can use kae to enhance weapons.
• The universe is divided into two dimensions: the Spirit dimension and the Trojen dimension. More on that later; most of the roleplay will take place in the Trojen dimension. It's also divided into seven constantly-expanding sectors that each have slight deviations on laws, physics, etc.
  
  Additionally, there are five "after-death" dimensions: Naterlion, the neutral dimension, Hades, the "underworld" dimension, Hell, Haven, and Heaven. More on those later as well.
• 95% of all intelligent life in the Trojen dimension are Tarns. There are countless sub-species though, and they can be very different. This is because, really, the only requirements to be considered a Tarn a) be able to naturally manipulate kae, and b) be able to change yourself using kae.
• There are multiple periods of time that exist at the same time. What happens is not set in concrete, nor does everything affect what happens in teh future.

Rules:

1. No Godmodding, obviously. Godmodding includes: overpowering your character, controlling what you aren't/shouldn't be able to control (that's my job :p), controlling others characters without their explicit consent (unless they've been gone for a while and you're controlling them to do very basic actions, like saying they went off with the group to do something), etc.
2. Try to post at least a paragraph. If you can't though, I understand. A paragraph generally means five sentences; they can be broken up for readability.
3. You can have as many characters as you want, but only if you can keep track of them.
4. Please be active, and you can't be, send us a notice either via Private Message or in the Out of Character thread.
5. Please keep it PG-13/14/15/16. If the characters have sex, don't go into any details; just say they did it.
6. All the other obvious stuff.

The GM of this roleplay hasn't created any rules! You can do whatever you like!
