Powerful kae user but irrational
Valdore chooses to portray himself as a spirit-like entity, his body appears as a swirling vortex of energy with two bright glowing eyes in the head. Although it's appearance deceives many, Valdore's body is still material, and can be injured as any other Tarn could be. His eyes change colour according to his mood, which can be a tactical disadvantage, though the fear they instill can be of great use as well. Some have wondered if he is a spirit being from the Spirit dimension, but the fact remains, no matter how he may appear, he is still a Tarn.

Valdore is very cool, and never becomes attached to anyone or anything, companions are treated less cooly than enemies which is the only indication that there is a different relationship there. He often rushes into action, acting irrationally, though on the very rare occasions that he does plan out, his plans are deadly. The rarity of this action is such that most will never see him plan anything. He prefers to act alone, and often does better when he does so.
Valdore uses no equipment except his ship, and even that uses weapons enhanced by his kae power. On the ground, he wields kae of immense power, his favourite, though rarely used tactic is to transport himself and an opponent into the Spirit dimension and duel to the death before returning. However, such a tactic requires time and immense concentration, coupled with his irrational actions, this is a luxury he is rarely afforded. The rest of the time, his normal method of attack is by conjuring fireballs to hurl at his enemies, though his power is such that he can attack in different manners if needed. Defensively, he protects himself with an aura of kae energy that quickly drains energy from incoming weapons fire, effectively stopping projectiles and causing energy weapon fire to dissipate. However, against more than 2 or 3 enemies, this tactic becomes very draining on him. The same method can be expanded to protect multiple people, however doing so causes extreme mental fatigue relatively quickly even under light arms fire, and the concentration required means he can't afford to even think about attacking the enemy!
No-one knows where Valdore lives, nor do they know what brings him out of his solitude, but whenever he does come out, battles tend to increase in volatility rapidly. It is even rumoured that he may have been at the first war, maybe the truth of this will be uncovered . . .
