Personality

Arrogance and pride are only divided by a thin line - though he's equally both, someone who is particularly fond of mind games. Reckless and egotistical, he never really cares about anything but himself unless it benefits him. Leo's one giant Lothario and women only have a single purpose in his life - taking care of his needs. He strives for fame and he wants his name known across the lands and beyond. The young man fears only one thing - himself, or so he says. Very confident in his sword related skills, his optimism in his abilities almost seems unshakable. Leo's a notorious liar, he'll lie through his teeth without blinking once and his humor is the very dark and sarcastic type. He can be a bit of a stubborn hard ass and when things don't go his way he'll force it with violence or whatever means necessary. If there is one admirable thing about him, it would be his Will to end whatever he started - he'll stick it out to the very end. And one last thing - do not trust him with your life, you might get burnt.

History

He was born a vampire, in the vast lands of Cristyl in a city called New Arc, which was located in the southwest of the country. The city itself was chiseled into lime stone - truly one breathtaking sight to behold. Leo grew up in the northern district which was generally populated by the higher middle class. His father a rich merchant, kept the family going until his older brother Nathan became a knight in the service of the ruling Noble. Sparring with his brother and training with him whenever he could he sharpened his senses and abilities - the drive to exceed his older brother pushing him further. When he turned 11 he started to follow his brother as an apprentice in the hopes of becoming a knight one day.

Participating in different competitions throughout the years, he gained on knowledge and strength himself. His brother yet still undefeated, he set his goal. Leo would be the one to defeat Nathan in a duel - he was sure of it. After vigorous training and the will to succeed, he entered the tournament alongside his brother when he was 18. Making it to the finals - facing his brother, oh it would be a sweet victory. He fought with all he had and so did his brother, Nathan though had been injured prior to the fight. Knowing this Leo attacked his weakened side and took advantage of it. In a duel he wouldn't differentiate between family, friends or strangers. If they were up against him, they would be beaten down without another single thought wasted upon them.

And he did strike him down - he ended up killing him...

Now it wasn't like they didn't know what they were letting themselves into, joining that tournament. It was a rough place and things like that happened, but the younger brother ultimately slaying his older sibling ... it had a very macabre after taste to it. Leo on the other hand didn't feel much guilt - he didn't see him as his brother when he fought. He saw him as the enemy, and this tournament was famous for its casualties. His family though in complete distraught, couldn't believe what Leo had managed to do. They banished him to an Academy, in the hopes that those there might be able to straighten the young man out.
