Felix stood up from the leather couch, wiping the blood from the sides of his head, sighing a rather frustrated sigh.
Sorry, Jenson, he thought, knowing Jenson would be able to hear it. I didn't mean for you to see that. It happens every couple of months. It's a buildup of emotion with no where to vent. It's either this once every couple months, or I snap and lose control of my powers and my mind. Though I suppose, once again, I'm the only one that seemed to have this aspect of this... Curse. He turned away and left, pulling out his iPod and pushing the noise-dampening ear buds into his ears. He turn his iPod on and turned the volume up, putting on a mix of music; Hollywood Undead, Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Black Veil Brides, and Avenged Sevenfold. He sung along to a song in his head, closing his eyes as he walked out of the castle and started of in a random direction. The first song came on; Paradise Lost by Hollywood Undead.

So watch my chest heave as this last breath leaves me, he sung, I am trying to be what you're dying to see... Feel like 'fuck man, can't take this'... Nothing but no trust, and I am so fucked up! So let this gun bond us! Let's hide by this lust, and once we are just dust, he'll know that he loved us... Let it all burn! I will burn first... God, I've tried, am I lost in your eyes? He continued to sing, getting further and further from the hideout. The second song came on; Pretty On The Outside by Bullet For My Valentine. His pace slowly increased along with the pace of the song, much faster than the first.

So you wanna play games with my head, but you make me fall apart and wish that I was dead, he started singing in his head again. I just can't believe I fell for such a blackened heart. You played me for a fool and used me from the start... Fuck it all! I just want to know the truth but the words from your mouth, they just cloud, all the negativity forces me down into silence, but still I can dream! If I tear you open wide, take a look inside, are you pretty? Can I get inside your mind, see what I can find, are you pretty? So just take off that disguise! Everyone knows that you're only pretty on the outside! He seemed more enthralled, more enthusiastic with this song, the words coming out of his mouth now as he wandered through the forest.

"Now I fucking hate you, with all of my heart, so just disappear!" he sung aloud, "And never will I fear for my life, I just want to be alone, and never, no never, will I be unhappy and low! If I tear you open wide, take a look inside, are you pretty? Can I get inside your mind, see what I can find, are you pretty? So just take off that disguise! Everyone knows that you're only pretty on the outside! " The song ended, and the next came on; Brompton Cocktail by Avenged Sevenfold. He eagerly sung along to that song, as well.

"Doc, I'm dying, I'm feeling compromised and so dehumanized!" he sung once again, this time without restraint, this voice echoing throughout the forest. "I lost my final fight to disease, I feel that this is where it ends! I need that shot to enter my vein, my Brompton Cocktail blend. 'Cause I can't feel my face, I won't struggle on, in a world so cold, in a world so wrong! I'm not running away, been fighting this so long! Such a price that we pay, we gotta be so strong, in a lie! I'm tired, induced euphoria to help me move along! I wanna meet my maker in peace, I want to feel alive again! So put that smile back on my face and mix it strong, my friend!" He suddenly stopped. He opened his eyes and looked around. He found that he was on the other side of the wall somehow. He was on the vampire's land. He was several hundred feet into the desert-like zone. He let out a futile sigh and collapsed to his knees. He put his hands on the hot sand and dragged his fingers through it as he made a fist. He contemplated continuing on and trying to find the vampire lair, or leaving the pack. At this point now, he really did feel like he had lost everything, even Jenson. He was an idiot for vent this emotions like that in a room where there was any possibility of someone walking in at all, let alone in the meeting room. He growled at himself in frustration until he realized he was shaking, completely uncontrollably.

He howled in pain as his hands starting to grow. The muscles and bones stretched and expanded together, but the skin was slower to change, making it feel like his skin would tear from the inside out. His hands grew into huge, monstrous paws. His eyes were wide and bloodshot. He knew what this was, but he didn't know why it was happening. He had vented his emotions, and yet he was still losing control. What was even stranger was that he stood in the center of the desert as he morphed, the sun beating down on him. He shouldn't be able to change like this anytime but during a full moon, and this certainly was no full moon. He howled once again in agony as his jaw grew out into a wolf-like muzzle. The muscles in his back tensed and started to expand as the rest of him had, his skin conforming to the skin, extenuating the muscles. He slammed his paw-like hand into the sand as fur sprouted on his back. He completed the transformation, becoming a monstrosity that was between man and wolf. He collapsed to all fours and started to pant heavily, his eyes yellow and red, and seemed like they could pierce through metal. He let out a blood curdling howl and suddenly darted off in a completely different direction, away from both the werewolf hideout, and, unbeknownst to him, away from the vampire lair. He didn't know where he was going, and he couldn't control his actions anymore. He left nothing more than his iPod and a trail leading off somewhere. Felix was no longer himself; he was no longer 'Felix', he was simply a beast, an animal. It seems his venting was all for naught.
