Adrian can be... easy to dislike. He has a giant ego, and often acts like he has a lot to prove to everyone around him. Growing up with only a mother, and having her die in front of him was quite a blow to his mental health, and he sometimes (but rarely, very rarely) experience anxiety attacks because of that particular experience. He is well mannered, and is known to always act his best around girls/women he finds attractive. Because he grew up with few friends, he is fiercely loyal to those who are nice to him, and very forgiving, almost borderlining a "doormat". He isn't angsty, despite all the pain he's been trough. He has mostly moved on, but he has an agenda, and a will to avenge himself. He's not in the freak-killing business for the sake of his mother's soul. It's his own redemption.

History

First memory: Saying “Mommy I want a Mullet like Daddy!” as he watched his mother's date run away from him, still believing that it's just a game, and that the man was really his father.

How does your character feel about love: He’s been known to turn a few heads, but has yet to ever be in any real relationship.

Family
Mother: Paige Spencer (Deceased) He loved his mother till the end, when she was taken by an attack on the humble home. He’s hasn’t been able to find the freak responsible for her death but he swears to find them. Or that's what he says at least.
Father: Lucas Van Helsing, Never met him before and isn’t even sure that Lucas even knows he has a third child.
(Half)Siblings: Zach and Anna Van Helsing: Unbeknownst to them. He knows of them though, and would very much like to meet them. Mostly just to see what they're like,

Short Background: Lived a silent and peaceful life with his mother. For a few of his childhood years, he didn't know of the bond a father is supposed to have to their children, and was spared much of the emotional agony. He then started school, and through the other children learned that he was the weird one, since he didn't know who his dad was. His classmates made it part of their daily routine to make fun of him, and Adrian would often end up running away from the school, only to return home some hours later. Paige, his mother then thought that it was time to tell Adrian about his dad, and showed him what few pictures she had, and some newspaper clippings and articles. A while after, Paige was murdered, and this left Adrian with no idea of what to do with himself. He then started investigating the Van Helsing family, and took their name. Since then, he's been trying to find a way to find them, and explain his circumstances.

Other: He has a mild form of asthma, and carries around his medicine for it. He hates any type of smoke, and is afraid of uncontrolled fire. He also thinks that ducklings are the cutest thing on the planet.
