Quinn nodded and agreed. "Well yeah, of course... but it seems like some people... no matter how much they love one another... it isn't always enough." She said and picked up their dishes and went to clean them. "Well I am sure you will find someone in one of the elven tribes. There is a good bit. Just gotta keep your head held high." She smiled and hummed as she washed.

Valery looked at her and pouted, "Aww lame... I was so going to love with putting you in my handcuffs and watching you try to hocus pocus your way out of it." She giggled and walked over to her before kissing her forehead. "Silly, girl." She said softly and ran a hand up the curve of her body and in a quick movement had her pinned against the wall. "Us a spell on me." Valery smiled.

Quilodor smiled a little, shaking his head when she said that love wasn't always enough. "Sure it is. If a couple really loves one another...then that's all they need," he replied. He thanked her softly when she took his dishes to wash, since he wasn't entirely sure he'd even know how, and he followed her as she went to do it. When she said she was sure he'd find someone in one of the elven tribes, he chuckled a bit. "I sure hope so. I feel like I've met every tribal girl out there and just haven't connected with any of them," he said disappointedly.

Sariandi giggled a bit when Valery said that she was going to love putting her in her handcuffs. She enjoyed the feeling of Valery's hand running across her body and when the blonde had her pinned against the wall she blinked in surprise, not having expected that at all. She opened her mouth to speak after Valery spoke but nothing came out, and after a moment's hesitation, she leaned up and softly pressed her lips to Valery's.

Quinn blinked and looked at him, "You are worse than a little girl." She laughed softly and shook her head. It was cute how he had such a child like look on love. "I mean... have you seen Lenandel and Iri fight? They love each other... sure... but because they were both being stupid they almost broke up. Iri was on the verge of just giving up because it seemed like anything she did was wrong and anything wrong that his sister did wasn't actually wrong at all. She was trying her hardest to change and be better for Keona and he didn't even see it. So no... love isn't everything. They need logic and common sense. Like hunting you can't just pull the bow string and thing you can hit the bullseye." She said and shook her head. "You are def going to find a nice elf lady and gonna have like eighteen kids." She said and dried her hands before clapping them together and saying a prayer. "Yay the gods have heard!" She giggled.

Valery was waiting for her to say something but she didn't and instead just kissed her. She kissed her back and smirked, "Oh damn.. that is a good spell... did I turn into a nice prince or something?" She giggled and let the elf go. "You caught me off guard with that kiss... you are learning too fast. Oh nos." She gasped.

Quilodor raised an eyebrow when she said that Iridessa and Yalathanil had nearly ended things. "Right, but see, they love one another and things worked out. Things always work out the way they're supposed to. Sometimes it might not seem like it, but such is the way of things," he said with a smile. When she said that he'd find a nice elf lady and have eighteen children, he chuckled slightly. "I wouldn't mind eighteen kids. It'd be a handful, but as long as we space them out it'd be fine. My wife would have to name them all, though - I've already tried thinking of names and I'm just useless at it," he said with a shake of his head.

Sariandi giggled a bit when Valery spoke, stepping away from the wall once the blonde let her go. "I...didn't think that would work," she admitted with a smile, reaching forward and booping Valery's nose gently. "You didn't turn into a nice prince. You're just Valery. I like you like that. Princes are dumb," she said with a giggle.

Quinn listened and looked up at him, "Hopeless. Romantic." She laughed and shook her head. She listened to him talk, leaning on the counter. "What are you good at, Quil-o-dor?" She asked him with a smirk on her lips. "I am almost scared to see you hunt. Would be a shame if I have to teach an elf how to do so." She winked.

Valery looked offended, "But... I would look so hot as one, dammit." She said and smirked before rubbing her cheek softly. "So glad you finally ran away. Now... food... what do you want to eat?" She asked softly and took her hand before walking into the kitchen and looking at what she had to eat or cook.

Quilodor chuckled a bit when she called him a hopeless romantic. When she asked what he was good at, he raised an eyebrow slightly, smirking with amusement when she said she was almost scared to see him hunt. "There's not much I'm good at. I can run and climb and shoot a bow quickly and accurately. I can track animals, chase them down, kill them painlessly... and I like to fancy myself a pretty decent conversationalist, but beyond that, there's not much," he said with a laugh.

Sariandi giggled a bit when Valery said that she would look hot as a prince. "Well, I mean....you would," she agreed with a smirk. "At least, I think so. We'll have to test that theory when Halloween comes," she said, a somewhat devious look coming to her face. When Valery asked what she wanted to eat and led her to the kitchen by the hand, she shrugged slightly. "I don't know. I don't know what you humans eat," she said with a giggle. "Around this time in the tribe we'd be eating salads made of foraged leaves, berries, and herbs, and the cooking women would be starting to cook whatever the hunters had brought back so we'd have meat for the evening meal. Quil always seems to bring back the best dinners. We have four hunters who hunt regularly and a couple backups in case they're not around or they're sick or injured, and they all specialize in hunting different animals. Two of them are trappers and they go for small things that stay on the ground, like rabbits, and then there's the guy who always brings back birds - pheasants, quails, ducks, those kinds of things - but Quil is the one who goes after the bigger things, like boars and deer and elk. I like those best. So, you know...cook me whatever you like," she said with a giggle.

Quinn listened and covered her mouth to keep from giggling, "well then... I will see about this hunting ability of yours." She said with a smug smirk and then blinked when her brothers ran in and looked up at Quil. "You gonna smooch our sister, huh buddy?" Anywl said and huffed up. Cahal was behind him a bit nodding and Leigh was peeking from behind the wall. They were all in their PJs. Each having bears on them but different colors.

Valery pinched the girl's cheeks when she was done talking. "Yes... since I don't go hunting and killing for my food... well I kinda do... but I get money for that and then I go get my food. Hmmm... we have... left over chinese... uhm... some chicken strips... uhm... I have... you.. I have porkchops.... eggs..." She listed off.

Quilodor chuckled a little when she said she'd see about the hunting. When the three boys ran in and looked at him, he chuckled a little and shook his head. "Nope. There's not going to be any smooching going on here," he said, reaching down and tousling the hair of the little boy closest to him. "Although I'm sure any boy who wants to smooch her is going to have to get past you three first, is that right?"

Sariandi giggled a bit when Valery said that her idea of hunting for food was to get money and go buy it. She blinked as Valery listed off what she had. "Chicken sounds good," she said with a smile.

Quin liked seeing Quil get along with her brothers. They were a handful so it was a relief that he seemed to be doing well with them so far. All three boys nodded when he said that anyone who wanted to smooch their big sister would have to go past them. "Darn tootin, no smooches for my sister," Anywl said. Cahal blinked and looked up at the man. Leigh came in and hugged his sister's leg. "She gives nice hugs though." He whispered and looked up at the tall elf too. Quinn patted his head softly, "Aw thank you, I try my very best. Now off to bed, momma is waiting to tell you all stories." She said and they ran off, Anywl glaring at Quil as he ran out. "Anywl being all tough little brother is probably my favorite." She giggled.

Valery smiled and nodded and went into the kitchen to start the cooking. "Chicken pasta it is." She smiled and got to cooking when all was done she handed the elf a plate and went sit at the table. "I hope you like... I am not like... the best at cooking but I can do a decent job... at least it is edible." She laughed.

Quilodor chuckled when the one little brother said that Quinn gave good hugs. He was quiet while she shooed them off to bed, and then he looked her way with a smile. "Tough little things. Seems to me like you're already in good hands; you don't need me protecting you," he joked with a laugh.

Sariandi smiled when Valery said they'd have chicken for dinner. She patiently waited while the blonde prepared the food, and when it was ready she promptly sat down and started to eat. She had barely finished her mouthful before she looked at Valery with a smile. "This is really good!" she told her.

Quinn rolled her eyes at him, "You have jokes, Quil. You can add that to your short list." She smiled and shook her head. "Valery was just getting rid of us so she could like... make out with Sariandi or something. I don't think I really need a body guard... though... there were a lot killings... it had stopped when..." She stopped talking and looked around. "I wonder if Valery knows... we had a friend who came about three years ago... two months in the killings started up... then when he left so did the killings. He shows back up, but he has been locked up so he doesn't hurt himself, and the killings start up." She said softly. "Now I am curious..." she sighed and looked up at him. "Won't your trib miss you?" She asked.

Valery laughed when she said that her food was good, "well I am glad you like. Would have been embarrassing if you straight up hated it. How am I going to win you over? My kisses?" She laughed a bit before taking a bite and looking around her home. "What kind of job did you really want?" She asked her.

Quilodor laughed a little when she said that she had jokes. "See, I assumed that jokes were just part of being a decent conversationalist," he said. He raised an eyebrow slightly when Quinn said that Valery had wanted to make out with Sariandi, but before he could question that, she started to talk about the killings. When she asked if his tribe would miss him, he shrugged. "We have other hunters. Obviously none of them are quite as good as me, and the others are going to have to put in some overtime to keep everyone as well fed as I do, but they won't mind if I simply explain to them the trouble going on in the city and that I was able to help. Living peacefully in such close proximity to the humans in the city is important to the tribe, so helping them when we can is appreciated."

Sariandi giggled when Valery said how embarrassing it would have been if she'd hated the food, smirking a bit. "Well, I mean, the kisses are doing a good enough job already," she teased back, taking a few more bites. She blinked slightly when Valery asked her what kind of job she wanted and she shrugged. "I don't know," she said. "Honestly, if I had my way, I'd rather just be left alone to practice my craft in peace. I'm sure I'd be much better at it if they didn't have me washing clothes for fifteen hours of the day."

Quinn listened and nodded, "well that is good. I wouldn't want them to be angry that you were skipping on your duties or something. I wouldn't want to step on the tribe's toes by keeping you here when I can handle it by myself." She said softly and motioned for him to come with her before walking out of her house. "You wanna go for a walk? I know we have been walking a bit today, but you know... we have stars now." She smiled.

Valery blinked, "fif... jesus... that is more like punishment. If you stay here you will have to work... but there is a place I have in mind you would like. It is called The Witching Hour and it is a small store owned by the old hags... well no... they are a lot nicer than the younger wanna bes. Now THEY are assholes. Quinn had shot one of them for stealing one of her animals. Ugh a real pain in my ass, but the witches in the woods are... well I mean I don't really believe in this whole thing, but if I did they would probably be the real deal... not those stupid young asshats. But anyway... they own the store and I mean... I am sure they would love to help you if you wanted." She said softly.

Quilodor chuckled when she said that she didn't want to step on the tribe's toes. "You won't be stepping on any toes. Don't worry," he said. "And I'm quite sure you can handle it by yourself, but if Valery wants me sticking with you until this serial killer is caught then I'm sticking around," he said. He headed with her as she left the house, smiling when she suggested a walk. "Stars are lovely. Seeing the stars is pretty hit or miss back in the tribe because the treetops are so often in the way," he said. "My cousins and I used to go out at night and we'd climb the tallest tree we could find and all just sit in the tree and look up at the stars. We haven't done that in years."

Sariandi raised an eyebrow when Valery told her that she needed to get a job if she was going to stay in the city. She smiled a bit when Valery told her what she had in mind, though. "It's run by real witches?" she asked, clearly sounding excited about this. "That sounds like fun! I don't know if I'd be any good at it but I'd love to do that!"

Quinn smirked, "Stars are my favorite. I come out here every night and have a walk before going back in. It calms me down after a big day. See... you might think this... but I was very hyper, just like the trips." She giggled softly. "I still get a bit hyper and a nice walk under the stars let me calm down. Also they are just... gorgeous." She said softly as she looked up at them. They passed the horses and she loved on them. "Climbing trees to watch the stars sound fun... I haven't climbed a tree in... damn... a couple days." She laughed softly.

Valery was actually relieved when she got excited instead of angry. "Well... the realest witches I have ever known." She said. "And apparently they did taught someone from the floating islands." She said and shrugged. "But yeah... if you really want to learn and stuff and you don't go acting like those damn young wanna bes you can most likely get a job." She said softly.

Quilodor smiled as she talked about her love of the stars. He had to admit, she was quite lovely and endearing when she talked about something she was so passionate about like this. He paused when she stopped to love on the horses, smiling a little. "Maybe we should climb a tree to look at the stars, then," he suggested with a chuckle. "It's been a good few days or so since I climbed a tree, too."

Sariandi giggled a bit at Valery's words. "If they're the realest witches you've ever known then I definitely want to meet them," she said softly. She blinked a little towards the end. "What do you mean, acting like the young wannabes? What do they act like? I'd rather not act like that," she said quickly.

Quinn laughed a bit, he had heart and she had to credit him for that. "Well we could... though we would have to walk to the far back of the property and then find a nice tree when you know... you can do the thing you can't usually do in the woods and just lay on the soft grass and look up at them." She laughed and shook her head. "Mmm lets get to know each other a little more since you wanna play bodyguard. How old are you, Quil-o-dor?" She asked.

Valery looked at her and smiled, "Well... they are assholes for one. They take shit that isn't theirs and then want to have the nerve to get mad at YOU for when you shoot them. They cause more trouble then it is worth putting an arrow through their skulls. They harass people... and so much more. The list will go on and on. The witches in the woods are... spooky but in a calm way. A lot of people like them just because they don't go trying to steal kids at night or set shit on fire in the name of their whatever." She said.

Quilodor paused slightly when she suggested just lying on the grass and looking up at them, and then he looked her way. "That actually sounds like it would be really nice," he said with a smile. When she asked how old he was, he smiled a bit. He liked the way she said his name, enunciating each little syllable like that. It was cute. "I'm twenty-one. Or, as my family likes to point out, beyond old enough to be married by now," he said with a chuckle and a shake of his head. "How about you?"

Sariandi was quiet while Valery spoke, listening curiously as she talked about all these witches in town. She shook her head slightly when the blonde was done. "I definitely don't take shit that isn't mine or harass people, and I absolutely don't steal kids at night. I do set shit on fire but it's always controlled and it's not anything major. It's not like I'm burning down trees or houses. Just, you know, herbs and things like that," she said with a giggle.

Quinn listened and smiled, "Shame shame, Mister. Some people are late bloomers, maybe you are just a late one in the dating game. No biggie. Luckily my father isn't worried if I am married or stuff. My mom thinks I am too young to be doing such grown up things... or something like that though I have seen the way she looks at girls with their babies and that is when I usually excuse myself since I feel like that talk is gonna come up. Kids are lovely... I love them... but... I guess right now would be a weird time to have them. Nineteen.. not yet grown and a bit too old." She sighed and tugged on his sleeve to follow her over to a spot that was good to lay down. She sat and laid back, her curly red hair spreading across the grass on its own.

Valery sighed with relief, "Good... would suck to have to lock you up in a cell. I mean... cuff and stuck on my bed is something I much rather." She smirked and shook her head before finishing up her food. "So... Quil and Quinn... what are your thoughts on them?" She asked.

Quilodor chuckled when she said that he was just late in the dating game and he shrugged. "I just haven't found the right woman yet. That's all I'm waiting for. Believe me, once I find the right one for me it'll be straight on to the land of marriage and children," he chuckled. "Nineteen is a fine age to have kids, but not until after you've found a husband to stand at your side through it. No boyfriend, no fiancé, no husband, no babies," he shrugged. He followed her to the nice spot she'd picked and then he laid down as well. He felt a bit strange about lying beside her, but figured it was harmless.

Sariandi giggled a bit when Valery said it would suck having to lock her up, and her face went red at the comment about cuffing her to her bed. She finished up her food as well, glancing up from the last couple of bites when Valery asked her thoughts on Quilodor and Quinn. "Well, I don't really know that much about Quinn," she said softly. "You said she's a hunter and she wanted to meet him. Now they've met. It sounds to me like they've a great deal in common. Maybe he'll catch feelings and finally find 'the one' and then his mother can finally get those grandchildren she keeps whining about wanting," she giggled.

Quinn looked over at him after he laid down, "Iri having a kid so early is weird... not that she had planned on getting knocked up so soon. She fought so hard to be free to only fall into Lenandel's hands... I like him... a lot... but I honestly wished they had met in a different way. Then you have other factors to play any... but she is eighteen and she seems to be taken on such a role whereas me... I am like... just the taller version of my three brothers." She laughed. "I can proudly say I haven't had a boyfriend nor girlfriend and I have never been kissed." She said and then blinked, "Well maybe not so proudly about the last part." She laughed and shook her head.

Valery smiled, "Oh boy... Quinn is an energetic puppy. She loves the outdoors almost as much as she loves her family and friends, though she is very mature for her age. She has stopped a lot of fights and meltdowns... like a mother." She laughed a bit. "She is one of my greatest friends ever. She has a way about her that just... makes a whole lotta people love her. She doesn't really judge and she likes to listen to all sides and all that jazz. Quil is going to like her, if not as a girlfriend or wife, then as a really good friend."

Quilodor listened while she talked about Iridessa and he nodded his agreement. "As much love as I see between Iridessa and Yalathanil, I do agree that they should have met under better circumstances. She's young - quite young compared to him - and it does seem a bit off. In the tribe, though, they like us to be married when we're eighteen or nineteen and to start making babies as soon as we can, so it's not that unusual," he said. He chuckled when she said that she wasn't exactly proud to have never been kissed. "I've kissed someone before. I thought sparks would fly, but they didn't. We tried again a few more times but it was just weird, and I think we both knew it wasn't meant to be," he shrugged.

Sariandi listened curiously when Valery talked about Quinn. She obviously thought very highly of her friend, which made sense. Sariandi spoke as highly of Quilodor. "Honestly, she sounds like the exact kind of girl who'd be perfect for Quil," she said with a smirk. "How do we convince them to fall in love? Now I want to see this happen."

Quinn blinked, "Well shit if sparks are flying I think I did well not to kiss anyone. Save my eyebrows and whatnot." She smirked, joking of course. She looked back at the stars. "When you do kiss the right girl, I hope it is as magical as you believe it is. That way you can come and tell me how you got your girl and I can take notes and then go find my one. We are buddies now, Quil... you gotta help a sister hunter out. My chasing game for game is wonderful, but for a person? Oh my..." She smirked and looked at him.

Valery smirked, "Well... we make them hang out more... whisper little thoughts inside their heads. Oh goodness we both can be witches and try to do a damn spell if we have to." She smiled and leaned in, "I wonder what their babies would look like. He is so tan and she is so pale... ohhh a tan baby with red hair.." She smirked and shook her head. "I don't want kids of my own, but I don't mind being around my friend's kids." She sighed.

Quilodor laughed at her comment about saving her eyebrows. "I can tell by the tone in your voice that you know exactly what I'm talking about, so don't give me that," he teased. When she said that he had to help her out once he found himself a girl he grinned a bit. "I can try. But what if you find someone first? What if some gentleman hunter comes and sweeps you off your feet? Then you're going to have to be the one helping me!"

Sariandi couldn't help the wicked little smirk that came to her lips as Valery suggested ways to get Quinn and Quilodor to fall in love. "We could totally do a love spell. I know a little love charm that I've never tried before because I never had a reason to," she said. She smirked when Valery talked about Quinn and Quilodor's babies. "If they don't name their kids names that start with Q, they're basically ruining everything," she giggled. "They've gotta have kids named...hmm... Queenie, and Quinton, and Quincey, and Quimby, and Quigley, and Quinta... someone stop me," she laughed.

Quinn gasped, "Then I am so sorry you will have to wait forever and ever... but if I do I will surely help you out. It is my civil duty after all." She giggled and shook her head. She like being with him. Other guys were all macho and look at their muscles or see how big their egos were. She never cared for it and she never cared for the nerdy ones because they could never live the farm life. She wanted to enjoy her hunting life with a hunter or a farmer who did hunting on the side like her father. She reached over and gently patted his forehead. "You are a nice guy... I could tell back in that stuffy tavern room you brought us to. I am sorry for the loss of your cousin." She said softly.

Valry smirked, "I was never into magic... but I would do that damn love charm spell in a heartbeat... like uhmmm tomorrow. I can bring you to the shop on my lunch break. We can get what we need there and you know... do what we gotta do. So.. what do we gotta do?" She asked before laughing. "Aww she does have to name her kids starting with Q's... Quigley... oh my... end me right here. She better not or I will kidnap him. Never gonna give him back...." She laughed.
