Living on the outskirts of a forest, where it met the plains, lead to a bountiful life for the small crossroads town of Herod. Until recently... Only days ago the entire plains, even forest, had been swept away in a disastrous sand storm. What was once known as rolling plains and lush forest was now a desert wasteland. It is up to the few survivors to escape, or find out just what happened. (( If you all will /roll your initiative ... /roll 1d20+init modifier))
Shifting through the sands of what used to be town, scrawny figures began to rise... slowly working their way through what was left of dusty winds. Their skeletal bodies shambled their way towards you all. - Zae gets to act first, they are about 30 ft away. -
The shambling opponent stumbles out of the arrows path as a total of 6 work ever closer. Two of the scrawny figures fire bolts to hit Lytria and towards (Spodor). -rolling-
(24 Lytria) (12 Spodor) vs AC
The skeleton shatters into a pile of decrepit bones into the sand. More continue to move in, a total of 5 left, all within melee range. (Next is spodor I believe)
The blast of heat narrowly misses the skeleton as it sees Skamos dashing back. (could have attack of opportunity there, but not going to and OOC IC doesn't matter right now. The skeletons begin grunting, readying for the combat ahead. (Next is Oxi)
These skeletons are but minions to something greater. Armed with only rusty weapons, weak magic holds these 'Decrepit Skeletons' together. Disease and poison do not effect these fleshless beings. (No I added for you)
The dust picking up in the air causes a swing and miss from Vaara. But the glow of power grants you and (Spodor) + 1 AC until the end of your next turn.
The yell seems to be all for naught as the skeletons rear back to strike with their swords and sharpened bones. --Rolling---
(Miss Zae 8, 21 Spodor, 12 Innovate, 22 Oxi, 16 Angel. This is all versus AC, if that is = to or higher than your ac take 4 damage) As these soulless bones swing about the sand storm grows in strength... Kikka, your turn.
It would seem that stabbing a Skeleton gracefully is, possibly, the worst kind of attack. As there is only bone to strike. The dagger meets only air and dust. --Inno, your turn--
The strike sends bones flying about the battlefield. The hissing of magic leaving bones howls over the wind. (You only get one AP per day though) Spodor next (Only 2 Skeletons left, one in front of Kikka, one in front of Angel)
The electrical blast does nothing against the foe, but there is still time left to strike it. (Minor action so you can still attack)
The bone splints and shatters. Leaving only one foe left. (Angel, your turn.
Bone turns to dust before Skamos (assuming you used wand). The dust of the sandstorm bringing visibility down to low light.
