There really isn't any obvious plot line or introduction to tell us anything, other than the title. All we can assume it's about is various video games placed into some sort of mash up.

Joseph Turok played by Vio-Lance
Silent, deadly, and able to kill things hundreds of times his size, Turok stands valiantly against anything NOT hundreds of times his size.
Captain Scott Mitchell played by jericho193
Just a simple man fighting for the good ole USA, but this isn't Ohio anymore...

Master Chief was slowly walking around seeing the objects around him. He was confused on what just happened because just a moment ago he was on the frontlines shooting down some Brutes. "This is Spartan-117 can anyone hear me?" he said through his communicator but there was no answer. It was odd being in this world, he could see the galaxy straight from the sky and there were various mix-matched buildings around here. "Where am I?" he said quietly. Just as he said that question to himself, 3 Necromorphs had appeared. They weren't Covenant but they were aliens and they looked bloodthirsty. The Chief pulled out his trusty Battle Rifle and started shooting one of them in its body, but to little effect. He aimed for their legs which he shot one of them off and immobilized it. Seeing the success he did they same with the other two before they got to him and then smashed their heads with his boots.

Link looked around him in confusion, one moment he was in Hyrule riding his horse, and now he was here. Where ever here was, he had never seen such a place before in his life. He started walking, studying his surroundings as he did so. He was familiar with some of the building styles, but other than that was at a complete loss. He soon heard fighting, and when he rounded a corner saw a strangely dressed man finishing off a few unfamiliar monsters. He stopped, watching the man, unsure of what to do next. Was the man friendly? Or a enemy??

Flynn hated his job. Scratch that; he hated who he worked with.
"Die, bastard!" Flynn looked around the corner and shot twice, a deathly moan coming from down the hall. He shot off two more rounds from his handgun. "Why won't you just die?!"
The zombie sergeant, with four holes in its chest, finally fell, dropping its shotgun.
"About damn time," Flynn growled, swiping the gun up. He looked up in time to see a fire ball head toward his face. "Aw, fu--"
~~~~~
Fly awoke to find himself on his back, in some kind of meadow, blue skies overhead. 'Is this...heaven?' he wondered.
He looked over; the meadow dissipated in the distance into some kind purple hazed nothingness, which, within it, there was an spacecraft of some sort. "If this is heaven..." Fly groaned, sitting up. "It's WAY more fucked up than Hell." He then looked to his feet; a small, brown, mushroom-shaped monster of some sort sat there, chewing on his boot. Fly gave a small kick, sending the creature flying. "Get offa there." Fly then stood, brushing off his pants. He looked to the small clan of mushroom-esqe creatures waddling toward him. He sighed, pulling out his handgun.
"Target practice? In heaven?" He let off the entire clip, depleting half of the monsters' numbers, causing the others to stop in sudden fear. Fly gave a look of interest; the creatures, when shot, did not show any signs of a bullet hole. Instead, they went flat like a pancake, their corpse disappearing within a matter of a few seconds. "What the Hell?!"
"Ah sweet jesus!" Haggard curses in pain as he falls on his butt. "What the? Where the heck am I?" He looks around, and than sees a armored man blowing some heads off, and more of the monsters coming towards him. "Hey Armored Dude, duck!" he yells as he's taking the AT4 Rocket Launcher off his back, aiming for the mob, and firing. The rocket streaks past Link, and almost nails the Chief before hitting its target. the monsters explode in a ball of fire and explosives, spraying blood and guys all over the place. "Yahoo! That's how we do it in Bad Company!" Haggard whoops as he reloads the AT4 and puts it back on his back.
OOC Notes
Master Chief had ducked as the rocket passed by him and killed the other Necromorphs. After looking around him to see what appears to be an elf-like warrior and man with outdated military equipment, he wonders in curiosity. He isn't used to having to talk with locals to get an idea of something but he needed to give it a try, "Would either of you happen to be locals around here?"
Fly heard, not too far off, an explosion and a whoop echoing the hills. An explosion could have been just a demon, but the whoop? Someone else was here. "Thank Christ," Fly mumbled as he put away his handgun and took the shotgun off of his back, pumping it. He walked toward the direction of the noise, stomping on the brown creatures he encountered to conserve ammo.
As the two-hundred-and-fifty pounds of muscle climbed up the hill, spying a military man on it, he observed the creatures below. They were twisted, demonic forms, a scattering of limbs and other assorted parts. "Aw, HELL yes!" He shot one of the creatures, the head popping beautifully. "Blood and guts, baby!" He ran into the crowd of monsters, ignoring the other two green-clad figures.
It was the most unique and terrifying sensation he had ever experienced. He knew he wasn’t home, and he knew he wasn’t…well at the moment he couldn’t really say he was anywhere. It happened so abruptly he still cannot comprehend what it is that is happening, only that he was traveling somewhere, at least that’s what he assumed. What he was experiencing was a sort of pulling sensation, like a shift to the side rather than a thrust forward, but definitely movement in someway.
Strangely though, there was no sense of inertial forces or weight for that matter, the roadie was simply shifting through space. His body felt a strange mix of numbness and pain, the pain comparable to that of his body splitting apart, stretched to his limits and perhaps well beyond them. As far as he could tell Jables was completely immobile, none of his voluntary muscles responded, in fact he wasn’t even sure that he was breathing or had a pulse. By some miracle however he managed to open his eyes which until now had been sealed shut not by his own will.
What he beheld was both incomprehensible and indescribable. Whatever form or shape that existed he could not tell for they whizzed by him far too quickly for him to make out, and whatever form he managed to catch a glimpse of was a contorted mess of colors and shapes. These sights he feared were so intense and alien that he would go insane that the roadie shut his eyes voluntarily, and simply waited for the experience to pass, if it ever did.
Then as quickly as it had come, it was gone. He felt himself come back together, and weight returned as well, though this sudden reintroduction to gravity caused him to topple over as he apparently had been standing. His arms barely managed to break the fall; they and the rest of his body felt like jelly, accompanied with a severe cause of nausea tough he didn’t regurgitate. He laid flat on the ground as he was in no condition to go anywhere, fortunately after several minutes his illness faded away and his strength returned soon after.
As his cognition returned he stood back up, and surveyed his surroundings. He definitely wasn’t in Bladehenge anymore. The terrain wasn’t too dissimilar, but no matter which direction he faced there were no identifiable landmarks which his homeland had a surplus of. Just where was he? Another continent. another time or universe entirely? In the sky was a canvas of blue painted with stars that should not be visible with the sun being where it is at this time, yet there clearly was a concentrated cluster of them even if at the moment the majority of them were yet to be revealed. In the distance Jables could see what looked like a settlement. The most logical action now was to search for inhabitants that could possibly help him.
As he approached he noticed an oddity in the architecture; some buildings were recognizable but were along side others that bared no cultural resemblance to each other. It was as if something ripped them from their true homes and mashed them together for an unknown purpose, much like he was he realized.
He heard the shouts of creatures approaching him, and to his right he caught sight of a pack of what seemed like a primitive species, they wore little clothing were slack jawed and feral. These creatures which one among this world would identify as Bokoblins made a mad dash at the roadie. “Hey, whoa, I’m not here to-” he tried to plead, but they were deaf to him. They remained hostile and swung their weapons at his person relentlessly.
Seeing no other option the roadie unsheathed his sword and said, “Ok, but you asked for it, remember that.” Fortunately for him they were not large in number and obviously had no sophisticated combat training. A few of them fell to his blade and the rest scampered off realizing that this prey wasn’t worth the sacrifice. Sheathing Battle Cry he studied his handiwork, two of the poor things had their flesh ripped on their torsos and while he did not have much sympathy for these things it seemed a waste all the same.
His ears detected a familiar sound echoing in the distance; gunshots and explosions. There were inhabitants that weren’t primitive! Not wanting to miss out on any probable fortune to come his way he dashed toward the battleground. Arriving he heard a “Yahoo! That’s how we do it in Bad Company!” following a boom.
A good sign.
In the vicinity he could see three men two he assumed were in some sort of military uniform, one of them adorned in an armor he had never seen before, the other man however wore a simple tunic and was equipped only with a sword and shield instead of ballistics weapons as the others did. The roadie shouted, “Hey! Good to see some people around here. Got any idea where I am?” He approached them after this question.
"Hate to say it, but no." Haggard says. "To be honest, I have no damn idea where we are, but I don't think any of us are here for tourism or locals." he says, his shotgun blowing another Necromorph to smithereens. "I don't know where these things are comin' from, but I don't think they die real easy." he blows some more to bits, than sighs "Ah, to hell with it." he evilly smiles as he grabs some C4, and chucks it into the horde of Necromorphs. "Fire in the hole!" he yells as the explosives go off, annihilating the crowd of enemies. "anyone know what these are?" Haggard says reloading his shotgun as some more turn around a corner.
OOC Notes
Master Chief nodded as he pulled out his Rocket Launcher blasting the Necromorphs and killed the last of them. "Considering that we seem to have been taken here somehow, let's stick together and try to figure out this mess."
Just then a floating machine appeared in front of everyone with a hologram of a masked figure on top.
"Ah, how nice of you to join us. John, Link, Haggard and Fly over there. I hope you found your trip to be comfortable and painless." He lets out a small evil laugh.
Master Chief was confused about this entire situation, "Why are we here? What is this place? Who are you?"
The masked figure laughed again, "You will find out in due time. I will tell you this much though, you are in a mixture of all of the universes in existence. I hope you find Fusion World to be most enjoyable." The hologram turned off and the machine flew away.
"Fire in the hole!"
Flynn watched as the white block landed next to him. Eyes wide, he began to run: "Shit, fuck, SHIT, FU--"
The blast sends him flying, accidentally ramming into the armored Marine. Obviously bleeding and in dire need of medical attention, Flynn lost himself.
"YOU FUCKING IDOIT! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!" He shakily pulled out a syringe from the stimpack on his belt, stabbing it into his arm. "WHAT THE HELL KIND OF TATIC WAS THAT?!" He felt as some of his wounds began to heal, though he knew it would not do much. The man seemed to say something, but it went unheard, as the eardrums of the Marine were certainly busted from the explosion. Flynn grit his teeth. "Damn it." He continued shooting with the last of his strength.
When he finally caught up to them, a figure appeared out of nowhere proclaiming that he along with the rest of the people here were from different universes. He said aloud, "Oh, well thats just fan-tucking-fastic." Another horde of monsters approached the heroes, earning a widened set of eyes from Jables. "Uh, I don't know how much ammo you have but I don't think its going to be enough, we better get the hell on out of here."
OOC Notes
"Who needs retreating?" Haggard shrugs as he lines up the sights of his AT4. "Kaboom!" He fires, the rocket nailing the first Necromorph in the face, and detonating. "That's how you take down enemies, Bad Company style."
OOC Notes
John was on his Kentucky Saddler riding down Amarillo when suddenly he found himself riding down a various mixture of buildings and landscape. Some of these he was familiar with but most he didn't recognize, like they were just picked randomly for no apparent reason. He took of his hat and scratched his head, "What in tarnation?" He then heard the sound of explosions, cursing and gunfire. He rode to where he heard the sounds and found a group of people who seemed odd and really out of place. An elf, a guy covered in armor and two guys other guys who had guns he never seen before. "I don't suppose you guys are around these parts."
OOC Notes
Flynn felt the needle enter and exit his arm, numbing the pain of his throbbing body. He got up shakily, growling. "Painkillers?! God damn it, you haven't got a medikit?!" The painkillers would help him not feel the pain, but it wouldn't help him heal. He looked to the crowd of monsters, filled with rage...
...wait...rage...of course!
Flynn nearly cried when he remembered he had a berserk pack. He took out the red-filled syringe, puncturing his vein and pushing the plunger. Flynn felt as his heart rate and breathing increased; his wounds sealed up as if by magic. But a crazed look came to Flynn's eye. "Fuck guns," he stated, an insane look on his face, "My fists don't run out of ammo!"
With that, he gave a war cry and punched the first monster he came to, causing it to explode in a shower of bloody giblets. He turned to the cowboy newcomer, grabbing a monster's head as he did. "Howdy, there!" Flynn squeezed; the head exploded.
Jables witnessed another appear, while one of the burliest had a sudden boost of morale and energy...and perfomed spectacularly! Jables was pleasantly surprised, but settled down, this wasn't the time to be gawking in admiration. "Ok, now that thats settled lets go over the facts: Some twisted shit-head with the power to squish time and space has brought us all together as well as a bunch of goulies, I'm assuming no one here has any idea how or why, so its probably best we get a move on and get aquianted, hows that sound?"
OOC Notes
(No more monsters right now please, we need our characters to interact.)
OOC Notes
Flynn, at first, did not hear the words of the roadie. He continued to shred at tear at the monsters...
...until his berserk began to wear off.
"Aw, shit." He looked at his bloodied hands, then the continuing onslaught of monsters. "Fuck." Flynn may have been a Marine, but he wasn't stupid. He knew when he was being overrun. And that time was now.
Turning to the group, Flynn immediately switched from bloodthirsty psycho to leader. "Fall back!" He began to experience some slight PTSD, envisioning the men in front of him as the men he had led many years before. "Fall back and regroup!" He began dictating, starting with the roadie, picking him up and tossing him on the cowboy's horse. "Ponyboy, take the newbie back 400 yards, we'll cover you!" He turned to the green-clad elf. "You go with them!" He grabbed the shoulders of the other to military men. "Your mission is now to protect them at all costs!"
He ran with the other green-clad men, well behind the horse, until the monsters, deterred by both the agility of their prey and the blasts of explosives, ran off.
Flynn had a smile on his face; he hadn't led a force of men in years. He realized that he didn't know a single one of the fine examples of a soldier. "Never caught your names, men. I'm Flynn Taggart of the US Space Marines. Semper Fi."
John sighed, "Well, I know this just some nasty dream and I am going to wake up at my campfire right now." He pinches himself and realizes that this is no dream. "What in gods name is going on here?"
OOC Notes
Hopping off the cowboy's stead which Flynn promptly tossed him on, Jables ragained his bearings and addresses the soldier, "Uh, good to meet you sir, by the way I'm no newbie be sure of that. Name's Riggs, Jables Riggs." The roadie thew a devil horns sign in the air, his own way of saluting. "Nice to see man who is as organised and angry as I am." Jables cocked a brow at the elvish man however, a bit confused by his presense, "Whats your story though, I haven't heard you say a word the entire time?"
"....well this is new."
Yuyuko looked around the uncertain landscape around her. How weird, it was as if the world couldn't decide who or what it wanted to be. Different places and different times all warping and twisting together to create the most confusing world she had ever set foot in.
"Interesting."
Moving forwards quickly, Yuyuko climbed inside the small deserted office building half buried in the ground in front of her, looking for someone she knew. Heck, anyone would do, this was one hell of a strange place. Peeking through the window, she saw... carnage. A battle had been fought here - and is still being fought, she corrected herself, as she saw a small group of people retreating backwards towards her building. A horde of... somethings.... followed them. Shivering at the inhuman nature of the necromorphs, Yuyuko found the only door that opened outside and quickly slammed it open, gesturing urgently to the group.
"Get inside, we'll be safer in here!"
"Private George Haggard sir, demolitions expert for Bad Company." Haggard says, than heads inside with Yuyoko. " my thanks ma'am." He says "Hey guys, in here!" He calls out
OOC Notes
Link was too confused to speak until they got into the building safely. "I am Link." he smiled at the girl in thanks as the others came in. He wasn't bothered by the fact that one of the strangely dressed people had pointed out that he hadn't spoken. Even in his world he didn't speak much, unless it was necessary. He shifted his weight, wondering why this mixture of people had been brought here. "It seems to me that the masked man that rode that strange floating craft is the cause of all of this." he said, wanting to say at least something, because it seemed in this place he would have to speak a lot more than he was used to doing.
OOC Notes
Flynn nodded to Jables. "Sorry there, Riggs. My mind kinda backtracked to my training: get everyone away as fast as possible. It's nice to meet you." He awkwardly gave the same devil-horns back, presuming it was Jables' form of saluting from his universe. He then looked over to George. "So you're the dickhead with the C4," Flynn said with a laugh. "Good to meet you, Haggard."
A strange-looking girl then appeared, opening the door to an office building not to far from the group. "Get inside, we'll be safer in here!" she cried out. Haggard then ran over, propping the door open. He called out: "Hey guys, in here!"
Flynn looked behind him as he saw the greyish creatures running toward them in a large mob. "God damn it! These things are worse than Imps!" He waved and pushed the group toward the inside of the building, switching back into leader mode. "Get inside! Go! Go!" He lagged behind them, walking slowly to make sure they all got inside, blasting the creatures with his shotgun as they approached.
"I thought i was the shotgun guy!" Haggard grits his teeth as he covers the others with his Remington. "Frag out!" he pulls his trademarked smiley face pin from the grenade, and chucks it towards the enemy mob, far from Flynn or the others. It hits the ground, and is passed over by the mob just before it detonates. a large puff of dirt rises up in the explosion, and the back half of the mob is now no more. The others turn around in surprise, than flee in fear of another one flying at them. "Well, that worked." he grins and reloads his weapons, grenades, and C4. "So little lady, may I ask who are you?"
OOC Notes
Master Chief used his Rocket Launcher to kill all of the ones remaining. "Now that we are here, we might as well know who we are working with. I am Spartan-117 or Master Chief as you can call me I am from the year 2552 where we fight in an intergalactic war against an alien force known as The Covenant." He hadn't been the one for small talk but he had no idea what to expect here so being able to know his teammates would be very useful.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
This is why I hate RP players who are always strict about staying inside the lines. RP's are suppose to play like real life, not always following a strict storyline and not having anything happen. Think of a good RP as a tree, everyone and everything starting, but than it spreads, twists, and turns.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
No one was god modding and yes there might have been some broken rules but a good game master would have made it work. Its not like anyone was changing the story.
How long have you even been doing this? Ive been doing this for years and I've never seen an RP close just because the game master let his teenage feelings get ahold oh him.
Good luck with your future RPs. Maybe you'll find more in the box players like yourself.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
I hope you can forgive me for this, but I think it was the only way to do this rp justice after being taken over by constant godmodders and rulebreakers.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
Did anyone else notice the negative tags he put in? "god mod, ignore, boring, etc"
Haha what a loser
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
He was a sad little emo kid anyways,
I'm still in guys! Just graduation weekend is crazy!
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
Idc, he wasn't open enough to the changes that happen in Roleplay. I PM'd him asking him nicely to give us the Roleplay, so we may continue. If he doesn't want to give it up, fine. But i'm still RP'ing here anyway.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
he left because he got tired of people breaking his rules
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
Somebody PM him and tell him to hand over the RP to one of us.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
Man with the plan said this role-play died. Last I checked we have a healthy number of guys who want to play. There's what? Five? We could still make it work
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
Well, without a leader, things will be a little hard...
Wait, I got it. AND it will make Link more of a hero. Once Flynn is saved, Link can lead the group into someplace--an alleyway or something, and then I can have Flynn take them out with his rocket after Link drops several unlit bombs where the group will be. Rocket+bombs=BIG BOOM. The remainder will be easilly killed.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
...nah Dark Link is long gone by now, he doesn't mind facing only Link, but when it comes to a bunch of people with weapons he's never seen before....well lets just say he isn't an idiot.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
How about doing the exploding arrow now? I'll put Flynn down to the ground first, but then, perhaps, Link spots Dark Link, shoots an exploding arrow, misses, but knocks him around enough to call back the attack for a moment..
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
all right, sorry for the monsters then, was an idea between NewKid and myself
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
I agree. I personally favor bringing up plot points ourselves, then voting together whether to follow suit.
Re: [OOC] Video Games: When Worlds Collide
But without an official GM things will get very chaotic really fast. Therefore we need to plan things out ahead. Our options are either to suggest plot points and vote on the best one, or elect an acting GM.
Also, PLEASE hold off on more mindless monster battles for a while, we've had plenty already and this RP is going to get boring if thats all we do.
[OOC] Characters
Under the assmption that our GM has indeed left this roleplay to us any new non-NPC characters will be posted here for approval. The only requirement is thorough links of information. If the character is original they must be from a gaming universe, here's a template to follow:
Name:
Universe:
Occupation:
Age:
Gender:
Race:
Items/possesions:
Powers/Magic/Skills:
Weapons(if any):
Personality:
History:
Let it be known that if the GM returns, that everything that transpires from then on is under his discretion.
