Introduction

Metis.
The beautiful city filled with art and love...

What does it feel like when dragonflies erupt in your stomach
when you look at a person and realize you love them? Does it tickle?
Does it sting? Does it make you light headed?

Violet loves photography, she never goes anywhere without her pocket camera and her smile.

Shay on the other hand loves being alone, she's extremely shy and quiet when it comes to
meeting new people.

These two girls lock eyes one day while walking in the streets of Metis and instantly fall inlove.

But there on two very different sides of the city and every time they try to see eachother its like they take on a whole new
adventure that almost seems like their traveling to a new world. Violet is always taking pictures of everything especially Shay. <3
Shay lives in the more rural area of Metis where its more religious and everyone
knows almost everything about everyone else.
Violet lives in the urban part of Metis where you will never have a boring day at all.

So far violet has been the one traveling to Shay's house but when Shay decides to travel to her place, she comes across things she hasn't seen or experienced before. Thiefs, shooters, fortune tellers, homeless people, magicians, sword swallowers, and so much more.

Julia doesn't like the fact that Violet is a lesbian and she never has, but she accepts it and doesn't mind all that
much as long as Violet doesn't do anything foolish with anyone.

Steve doesn't mind at all that Violet is a lesbian. He spends a lot of his time working.

Lynn has a small problem with Shay being a lesbian. She doesn't agree with it but accepts it.

Sam is a spoiled girl who is two years older than Shay. She gets her way most of the time and is the "popular" one in the family.

Ciel has been Shay's friend for three and a half years and is there whenever she needs him.
Carlisle has been Violet's friend for 4 years and is always there when she needs a friend to talk too.
Twig is one of Violet's very close best friends who has been there for a long time. She doesn't like it when people
hurt Violet and if someone does she makes sure they don't here the last of it.
Ann is Shay's best friend who can always make her laugh. Ann isn't the brightest person out there...
