Introduction

Well here is my idea for a role play. First here is a quick little skim of what the planet that this role play has to offer. It’s a standard planet like earth with several different climates, except there all on one large unified continent. And now here is the brief understanding of the kingdoms.

In the planet of Krey four mighty kingdoms, are currently waging war. The Silin kingdom inhabited by necromancers, demons (warlocks who have the demon inside of them and use them or just plain demons), and doom knights (corrupt paladins who thrive off of blood and a refined spore drug. Like steroids only it makes you more psychotic as well).

Then there is the exact opposite. The kingdom of Dro who instead has paladin’s priests and beasts of light (two headed lions made of light). Though do not let appearances fool you they are a kingdom of psychopaths cursed by their zealous paladin leader teneck to be permanently just as crazed and judgmental as him.

After that there are the ambiguous elves. Whose fierce training has fortified them inside the forest that covers the Deep chasm at the center of the continent. There land is split between two areas, a large forest and the inhospitable desert that they have long abandoned to warlords and giant insectoid slavers that form the grun hive. The elves themselves face problems as for the past fifteen years a rebellion has started near the deep chasm of elves calling themselves dark elves. These dark elves wield the deep chasms untamable monsters after from unknown sources unlocking a way to walk into a beings mind. They have seven headed hydras, hyroon raiders (velociraptors armored and mounted by lightly clad knights) and assassins.

And finally but not least there is the kingdom of qeron who's gambling central and arenas, have led to them having a fortune. The arena forces peasants’ to slaughter each other which have lead to rebellions and riots. They are socially unstable with each class of wealth eyeing each other nervously as there puppet king does nothing. They have standard medieval army set up.

Of course there are more than three soldier types but those are what I’m revealing for now. And now for the timeline!

Timeline: Y=years
500 Y: Only the kingdom of Qeron and the elves are present. The gods currently speak freely to the churches that exist, and the most prominent church is the church of Druo the deity of light

578 Y: the discovery of demons from an astral plane has sparked mages to go searching for more
Planes of existence, which has led to the discovery of the elemental plane, housing creatures of the four classical elements and more (Elementals already existed but they were rare this has led to them being more common than before.)

590 Y: The elves conquer the desert directly below them and have named it Irool. Precious metals have been discovered under it as well attracting adventurers and minor kingdoms to attempt to gain the land.

592 Y: Only 2 years later and the elves have already retracted from the Irool desert due to many problems of keeping it under their control. The desert has now been tainted red with the blood of those who constantly strive for dominance over the precious resources. Now it has fallen into a cycle in which every year some military “Genius” conquers them a kingdom only for the next year’s genius to rip it away from them.

600 Y: A new counter church has risen up in the brief time due to the discovery of yet another plane, the plane of decay and death. This church worships Slivine Dragon god of darkness and death. Small scale skirmishes have been enacted between the Church of Slivine and the church of Druo but they stay standing at opposite sides neither giving in.

615 Y: After years of searching and hunting the church of Druo have finally unlocked their way into the plane of Druo, though what they did not expect was for Druo to be displeased with them and he quickly shut the portals to his realm and has been silent for 35 years. The church of Silivine believes it is due to Druo thinking himself to be far to pure to have contact with humans who have done many wrongs, while the Druo worshipers have simply claimed he is displeased with the way they have stayed inactive in cleansing this land.

617 Y: The two churches have separated from Qeron and began to create their own kingdoms to glorify there gods in the highest manner, devoting entire generations to embody what there gods stand for in there many cities and towns. The Silivine worshipers finished their main city and 3 more in less than 12 years with the aid of armies of undead, while the Druo worshippers had to build it by hand and with the occasional help from the celestial beings from Druos realm taking 5 years to build.

630 Y: More deities have been found and most of the churches have stayed within Qeron and made peace with one another in fear of becoming what Druo and Silivine worshipers have evolved into. The elves have also canceled all trade with them and Qeron alongside Dro and Silin. They have now made a deal with the Gruns and receive slaves monthly to aid in construction and…. experimentations. Qeron themselves have made the same deal for different reasons and the Gruns now hold a comfortable position in the Irool desert.

650 Y: 35 years after the great silence from Druo he returns with but a warning to his worshipers he said “Stop this foolish rivalry between your two faiths. It shall be the undoing of all in existence, your time is short do not waste it in such a matter!” he then disappeared yet again never speaking until his next message. The message had shocked the entire religion of Druo, but the head speakers had decided that it was best to listen to their god directly and had prepared a peace speech for the two kingdoms. A representative of the Silins had come to make it official but before the priest could even finish half of it he had been decapitated by his chief of the divine guard Teneck and his other paladins soon followed killing all of the speakers. Afterwards he declared that since the Speakers have all been killed the honor of guiding the Dro kingdom was for the master paladins to do, which had of course fallen onto him and his other divine guard. They soon began a campaign that brainwashed the masses of Dro from zealous overconfident believers into zealous overconfident cutthroat judgmental believers under the control of a paladin with a delusion of what was good and orderly. The war had then changed from simply skirmishes and occasional provocations into a full blown battle between the two.

650 Y (elven side): During the trade for slaves a single group of slave elves managed to escape and began spreading the news to others. The government simply shrugged them off saying they were traitors and prisoners planning a revolution to cause chaos amongst the kingdom. Many believed them but there were still a group of telepathic mages, warriors, and towns that believed them and split themselves from the main kingdom. Most of them had begun living underground as it was the best way to do hit and run tactics for food, supplies, and to nip at the people up top. Their current headquarters is the city of liaq (Lee-ah-k) where they do most of the average things they did before farm, build, and live average lives. But all of this was simply a cover for their true city of Liaq, an underground full blown city that acts much like our worlds New York. The city is always bustling and the lights are always on due to large crystals at the top of the cave that thrive like plants absorbing light for energy and radiating the excess energy as purple and a variety of other color lights.

And that is the story so far. You are a person during 656 Y meaning much of the preparations and small scale skirmishes have finished and more epic destinies wait for people like you. And finally the character sheet!

Name:
Sex:
Description:
History:
Race: (Human, elven, grun, demonic, Dragon born, Undead) demonics are simply demons from the hellish planes of gorbash. Lists of demons are Imps: standard low level beings with small horns, goat feet, and normally purple tounges that they like to flaunt. They are also very short about three to four and a half feet tall. Then there are the sucubi/incubi, seducers of all species they specialize in lust, temptation and trickery, one of their natural abilities is to fling globs of fire straight from both of their hands like a hadoken at close range. Next are fiends, these demons are more ordinary demons who come in several shapes and sizes, I'm giving free reign on these guys but don't go overboard and please try to keep it a smidge demo if. After that are the devils, large brutish beasts wig curved long horns from their heads. They are hunchbacked and normally armored all over there torso. Their mouths are filled with fire that never escapes their mouths, constantly burning them and causing minor annoyance. They do not resemble humans at all (and neither do imps for that matter) due to their skin being a really bad sunburn red all over there body. Every demon has some form of horns. Next is dragon born who are simply descendants of dragons standing at six to seven feet on average they are physically strong and can speak with any form of lizard on the planet. They too can breathe fire, be creative with what breathe and what species you descend from. And finally there are the undead who are dimly reanimated corpses of any species, go crazy with these guys.
Equipment:
Deity: (Fuy goddess of fire, birth, and rebirth. Liu god of Ice and the wind. Lok god of nature and balance. Druo goddess of Light and purification. Silivine god of Darkness, death, and time. Asten goddess of disease, pain, and war. Toru god of Knowledge and insanity. Malak goddess of Patience, impatience, and chaos.)
Class: Necromancer: These guys are split into multiple sides. There are Plague Bringers, necromancers who use diseases to slowly kill and harm their enemies, they can still summon the undead but not as much (Ex: Festering disease zombie). Standard necromancers, these guys are the kind who summon the undead and are a mixture of Plague Bringers and Soul Stealers. Which brings us to Soul Stealers, these guys simply siphon the life juices right out of you to either heal them, use for rituals, or create spells, these guys are very reliant on enemies or big meat shields with lots of health.
Doom Knights: These guys are corrupted paladins who worship Silivine (All doom knights who worship Silivine are paladins. But not all paladins who worship Silivine are doom knights they are simply a advanced version of it), they use necromancy and corrupted paladin spells. They are split into two different kinds. There are regular Doom Knights who wield large blades of blood and death; they can summon the undead but not as much as the necromancer. They can also cast darker and more twisted versions of the paladins spells, such as instead of healing touch they can use devouring hand to not only lower someone’s morale but drain the target of its life essence like a vampire. There second form is a Doom Cavalier who ride on undead steeds into combat duel wielding two lances, the average Blood lance has a skull at the end of it with a spike through the mouth.
Fey Hunter: Coming in multiple shapes and sizes the fey hunters are either lesser warlocks or demons. They use the energies from themselves and their fiery realms to empower their weapons and grant them abilities. Most fey hunters use bows and arrows, stick to the shadows and use their demonic wings to assault the enemy from the sky. But some have been known to use demonic machetes and there natural fire spells to embark on hand to hand espionage missions. Depending on what kind of demon you are (or imbue yourself with) can generally effect what kind of fey hunter you become. (Read race selection above.)
Warrior: Your simple run off the mill warrior. Go fucking ape shit with how you want to be this guy (or gal). And remember just because I tell you to be creative with this guy doesn’t mean you can’t do the same thing with the more detailed classes, the details are just to inform you on certain things or ways they work.
Bard: Use music and songs to influence the battle via aiding your allies or making your enemies clench their ears in pain.
Assassin: The assassins are much like the fey hunters only without the demonic support. Using a variety of poisons and tricks the assassin easily makes up for their lack of powers. Most dark elves become assassins and are well suited for it due to them relying on its main strengths to fight the main elven kingdom of Nodal.
Paladin: Defenders of their gods and believers of whatever deity they choose be wary not to mock their ancestral being or become an atheist near them. They use a mixture of priest spells and warrior abilities to bring divine wrath onto their foes. Able to heal themselves and dish out damage they are a great tank for any group. A note is that depending on what deity you worship can affect how you fight. For example if you worship Fey goddess of Fire, birth and rebirth then your spells and abilities will be concentrated on those ideas. So you could have a spell that sent a fireball from the sky as an attack from your deity or have the spell that once knocked out or killed your suit of armor will “Rebirth” itself and fight on with half of your spells until 1 hour or you get revived. Etc etc, the same rule applies to priests. In other words these guys are a melee orientated form of the priest.
Priests: Ah the priest. Known as many names such as the bishop, heal wagon on feet, that crazy guy with a sign saying the worlds gona end they all come in many forms but in this world they are the standard worshippers of their respective deity’s. They are a mixture of spell casting and fighting who can use holy signs and words to harm their enemies. Much like the paladin depending on what deity you worship effects how you fight (See example in paladin slot). There main weapons are whatever holy symbol or relic they carry, so for example a worshipper of Lok could wield a simple large wooden staff made from a tree engraved with runes, or perhaps just a battle model of a scale. Creativity is a wonderful tool for the worshippers of gods.
Mage: Choose any form of magic and become that mage. Be creative and even multi magic. But be warned multi magicing will make you versatile but at the cost of strength in any particular area. Sort of like the jack of all trades master of none. (Necromancy does not apply as being a mage who uses necromancy makes you a necromancer, unless you multi magic.)
Beast Tamer: Using Psionic magic enter the mind of any creature and dominate it making it your permanent steed. Beast Tamers are ok at psionics but excel at combat either on mount or with the assistance of an animal. Once captured that specific animal can be summoned at any time to assist you in combat, unless you decide to get rid of it or it gets its psionic link broken via other psionics or you dyeing.
Ranger: Standard rangers. Be creative, hell even get a animal companion if you want (Not summon able and must have a relationship with you.)
Bandit: Any form of thief or pickpocket. As stated before creativity will help.
Colossus: (Dro Kingdom only) A special form of paladin. Who trade the ability to have healing powers or divine smiting for brute strength and very small scale holy magic. Most colossi have their sizes increased to at least 7-8 feet tall of muscle. There armor both pure white and exquisitely decorated or gray. They wield a single halberd sword also exquisitely decorated and hold a large shield on their free hand. They lack most form of intelligence in social situations and are a bit slow due to the process of making a colossus. When facing a Dro platoon expect these soldiers to lead the way head on screaming through there fully covered face helmets (Also exquisitely designed). These soldiers are handcrafted by trainers for 12 months just to rid them of fear and most of their free thinking.
These are just some classes. Make anything you like or take from here, since I’m giving you free reign over who or what you are.

Magic: (Fire magic, Ice magic, Druid magic, Support magic, light and holy magic, necromancy, affliction magic, psionic magic, and anything you can think of but ask first)
Allegiance: (Who do you work for, or if you aren’t exactly allied to them who do you prefer to work with.)

To be added: Nothing I can think of yet.....

Re: [OOC] War for Krey

...... Hmmmmm. Sure you can be a fairy, but a couple of things to note. 1. Don't be fucking tinker bell. 2. Fairys are a breed of elemental, meaning they cannot learn magic but instead are naturally given a set of powers corresponding to what they are. 3. You're character would probably lose there kingdom in a couple of days if it has a small platoon so yeah sure you can. Make sure to advertise this aswell, I'll be putting this up in roleplayers wanted thread soon so hope you like it.

Re: [OOC] War for Krey

Fae = Faery, fairy, Tuatha De Dannon.

whatever you want to call them 0_o

I had mostly planned on him just leading a small army around the deserts raiding thigns until finally conquering the capital, getting bored, and moving on again.

Re: [OOC] War for Krey

Yes you can take over the desert but remember your kingdom will not last THAT long no matter how hard you try. A month tops for most adventurers like you. And im not sure what a Fae is let me go back and look. I have written this down alot but people just seemed to reject it so im not that all knowing of everything I have written n my block of text.

Edit: You can however be the ruler of a smaller more insignificant kingdom that isnt all about show bouting there immense war tactics and cheesy lame names like Dictoria or Painsville.

Re: [OOC] War for Krey

Are we allowed to play Fae, and can we take over the desert?
