Our story begins with the birth of twins, Vincent and Vergil, but these two are no ordinary twins. they are special, Vincent and Vergil are twins born of a goddess mother and a human father. Their mother by divine law abandons them, they were both discovered by an old sage and his wife. They were both taken in and cared for, when they became of age they were taught magic, because of their divine blood, they were powerful mages even at such a young age. They were able to master magic that took most mages years to get the basics of. When they turned seventeen the sage told them, he had nothing more he could teach them. He told them it was time for them to discover their own way. They left the sage, and began a journey to find themselves. On their journey they met with people from different towns and cities. They discovered that the world was being over run by demonic monsters. The knights of the land where almost powerless against the demons. And the gods and goddesses could do nothing but sit back and watch. Vergil and Vincent couldn’t understand why the gods wouldn’t help the people who worshipped them.

They then decided that it if the gods wouldn’t help then, they would help the people by destroying the demons. They traveled across the land freeing captured villages from the demons. Their acts of heroism inspired the people to fight back against the demons. An uprising began and the land was soon liberated from the demons. But then the dark god of the underworld, Xanas. Attacked Vincent and Vergil for interfering with his plan to take over the land. Vincent and Virgil fought against Xanas, and they managed to win, but he had set a trap for them, when they killed him as an act of vengeance he was going to take their souls to the underworld, but just as their souls were going to be taken their mother appeared before them. She stopped Xanas and offered her soul instead. But before her soul was taken she gave her sons the ability of reincarnation. She knew that Xanas would one day return and she wanted her sons to be able to stop him when he did.

Vincent and Vergil, decided to use their ability to their advantage, they created a team, a clan some would say. One that would find them when they were reincarnated, and then prepare for the return of Xanas. They named the team “Crimeth” which at the time meant, vicious and vengeful. For centuries Crimeth found the two when they were reincarnated, they waited for Xanas, but it seemed like he would never come. Eventually Crimeth started giving up hope, and they soon stopped searching for Virgil and Vincent. Crimeth became an organization that only cared about gaining money, not fighting against a dark god. It soon became an underground crime group, much like a mafia family. Crimeth became so strong that, its enemies would attack them each week out of jealousy.

Some stayed loyal to Crimeth’s original goals, but those who did were often killed because the bosses knew that if Vincent and Virgil where to return, they would easily be able to take away their position. Vincent and Virgil now live their lives as normal twin high school seniors with dreams of the road ahead. Little do they now their lives are soon going to change so dramatically that their dreams of a life after high school will be shattered.

Plot: ok, I think you can kind of guess what the story will be about, I want everyone to have a lot of freedom with both their characters and also with how they will get involved with the main plot. Everyone will be apart of the main plot, which is both getting Vincent and Virgil to become the bosses of Crimeth, and stopping Xanas. So I will now just give a little information that you will all need to know. Oh and I also need someone to play the role of Vergil, send me a message if your interested.

-continent: the continent the majority of people live on is Tivren, billions of people live on this continent, it is the biggest continent, but its not the only one. The main story will take place here. So for now I wont name the other continents.

-technology: technology is very advanced, robotic replacement limbs are used for victim of accidents. Robots are used as servants and computers can be used for just about anything. The world relies on technology to run.

-people/races: there are a large variety of races on Tivren. Some that are well known like humans and elves. And others, who are not often seen like fairies or dwarves. Tivren is a melting pot for the different cultures and races. And mixing of races often happens, so it is very rare to see anyone who is a pure blood. (I didn’t name a list of races, because I’m giving you free will as to what you want your character to be, but no aliens please.) (also no more demi-gods because Vincent and Vergil are demi-gods and the max I want of any race is two.)

-cities: the main three cities on Tivren are.

These three cities are all neighbors to each other, they hold the most people and they are the most technological cities. But they are also big crime hotspots. (these are the main three cities, so the small towns and smaller cities wont be as important, but if you want to make your character live in a small town, you can name it yourself if you wish.)

-Magic- magic is very rare, centuries ago it was very popular and a large amount of people practiced it, but now it is a rarity to see kids practicing magic. The only people who practice magic are usually those who come from a family of magicians.

-Professions (roles): in this rp, you will have a lot of freedom with your characters role, I’m not going to give you a list. But just know that your character will have to fight demons later on and if you make them something useless like a math teacher who has never fought a day in their life, they will die easily. So try to keep that in mind when you create your characters. Also keep in mind that is you make a member of Crimeth who is still loyal to Virgil and Vincent. Your character will be much stronger than most other characters because they will have practiced fighting, but they are more likely to die from not demons, but Crimeth members who are loyal to the boss.

-Crimeth: within Crimeth there are a few groups, the regulars who are just your average everyday gang members and low lives.(I think their description says exactly what their like.) You then have the loyalist, those loyal to the true bosses of Crimeth. They are strong fighters they are usually trained by the best fighters in Crimeth history. their aren’t many of them, but what they lack in numbers they make up for in skill. (if you need something to compare them to, think Spartans and you have a loyalist.^^) Then the Deaterum, they are lethal and cold hearted murderers who will go out and assassinate the boss’ enemies. They will also kill the loyalist if the boss orders it. (think hit men, ninjas ,or even samurais)

ok, so I just have some basic rules.

All post must be at least a paragraph, I can understand writers block, so if you get writers block. Please just try as write as detailed as you can to fill up space. And I don’t mind you using words from someone else’s post in quotes.

This rp is pg-16, there will be violence, language should be used mildly, so the whole post shouldn’t be your character cursing like a madman or woman.

There should be no cybering, all instances where sex would be involved should just be vague. So don’t go into detail with anything. I recommend just having the scene fade to black like on TV

There are gods in this rp, but your character isn’t one so don’t play them like they are one. I don’t like auto- hitting, so try not to do it. As for dodging, dodging attacks from bladed weapons or fist are ok, but dodging bullets should be done realistically, bullets travel quickly so dodging from close range should be hard for your character, even for mages.

I will give you two warnings and then on the third time I will ask you to leave. I shouldn’t have to warn anyone because the rules are basic, so just follow the rules and everything will be ok.

I may reject some characters if I feel they don’t fit in with the story or if I feel its not detailed enough. I will never reject a character without telling the creator the reason why. Also if the changes I recommend are added and the character is resubmitted I will more than likely accept it.

if you are not active for three- four days and you are holding up other people, who are waiting for you to post i will do one of two things. let the person post and you will then have to catch up later on. or i may take control of your character until you have returned or the one week and 48 hours are up (see next rule for what i mean by the last part.)

If you are not active for a week, i will send you a single message then give you 48 hours to contact me back. if i haven't received a message by then your character will be killed off and i shall move on with the story.

if you have read all these rules, then congratulations. also if you read through all of these rules put ^^ at the end of your character sheet. if you don't do this you will not be eligible for the prize later on in the rp. (yes, there is a prize that i'm sure some people will enjoy.)
