Introduction
The first to arrive was the Imperial Guard. The largest and fiercest army in the Galaxy, they were here to claim the Planets and it's many luxuries in the name of the Immortal Emperor. Governor-Militant *First/Last Name Here* set out to ready himself/herself, taking the local Tatar Coast, and making it into the glorious Camp Victory. Entrenched, enemies would have a tough time beating them. The Governor-Militant would make sure that every Guardsman fought their hardest.
From the wastes of the Karakov Desert, underneath the Planet, the Necrons rose, waking to destroy all life here, and to return Zaraphen to Tomb World status. The Necron Lord of Zaraphen summoned his troops and readied the Monoliths. Tomb Spyders and Builder Scarabs set up entire complexes. Their tombs, marvelously constructed, still had Necrons awakening. The purge would be complete.
At the Necrons rising, the Eldar activated old, dusty, and disrepaired Webway Gates. In the blink of an eye, they had an entire base set up. The others could not be trusted to deal with the Necrons, and they arrived to quell their ancient foe. Farseer *First Name Here* gave the orders. She had the Eldar set up large barriers, and even larger Webway Gates in many remote caves around Mt. Hide. These gates and barriers provided severasl means of escape, and several means of reinforcing.
The Orks, led by the one and only Warlord Nargul Shakzod, arrived, here to conquer another world in their tireless Waaagh!. When they arrived at the Planet, their Hulking Space Fleets landed in the Jamjarr Forest. There, he set up a major base, and brought all the local Feral Orks under his command. As long as he was victorious, his Orks would fight loyally, immune to any kind of demoralizing feats brought upon them. Removing them would be no easy feat.
The Space Marines would arrive next, as with a previous battle on Kronus, Holy Relics were here, and those Relics needed to be secured. They set up a base on top of ancient grounds sacred to them, and as long as they held these areas, they would never retreat. The Razed Wastes were harsh and forbidding, and a tough area to conquer. The Space Marines were very safe from assault in this desolate area. Brother-Captain *Full Name Here* led the forces of the Blood Ravens.
Chaos would arrive, to claim and taint those Relics that the Space Marines might deem worthy. With the new Black Apostle and Inheritor, *Insert Full Name Here*, they were showing themselves to be even more powerful than before. They quickly turned the lush tropical island of Ghragh into a nightmarish hellscape of taint and blood. From this island, they'd be free to attack most everywhere easily, and assaulting them would be costly in forces and morale.
The Tau, ever more concerned with spreading the Greater Good, would make their way to Zaraphen to try and establish a colony. First, however, the other madmen must be removed. The Tau have brought their best Commander, Shas'O T'au T'roi Soo Tol (Shas'O T'roi), and the highest Ethereal, Aun'o'T'au'Acaya'Va'Denta (Aun'Va). Shas'O T'roi also brought Vespid, Kroot, and Gue'vesa Auxiliaries. They are a formidible force, and have set up their base in a quickly made city, Zar'phen, named after this lush Planet. They were not about to go down easily.
Lastly, the Dark Eldar, who arrived not to really stake a claim on the Planet, but to feast like vultures upon the Souls of all those slain. They'd go to great lengths to kill. They have set up their base on Zaraphen's lone moon, Zaraphen b, accessible only by Dark Webway Gates. From this position, they were ready to launch their crusade. Archon *Name Here* led the forces of Asdrubael Vect, and he would murder anything to gain what the Dark Eldar wanted.
It would be a bloody battle, but only one race could prevail, only one could win. Whoever controlled Zaraphen in the end would enjoy a natural advantage in the years to come.

OOC Notes
"Sir, we have reached the optimal release point. Shall we begin the landing operations?" Commander Felix Bough, the true master of the ship, inquired from his command station. Currant gave his pistol a squeeze before turning sharply about to address the Commander.
"Yes Commander. Give the order to begin landing. I want to have my command post set up planet side in the next hour. I will retire to prepare. I leave the fleet in your capable hands Mr. Bough." The commander saluted as the general left the deck and proceeded down an elevator to his quarters.
He had refused to take the Captains quarters as was his right and instead set up in a lower officers bunk so as to not disrupt the routine of the Commander. Such oversights in regulation were how he kept things running smoothly in his command. Pomp and ceremony were mere hindrances when there was a war to fight. Inside the room, his aide had already packed his gear into two large duffel bags and left them on his cot. Hefting one over his shoulder and carrying the other he set off towards the flight deck. He had to refuse help several times from deckhands and soldiers. He believed in carrying his own burden whenever possible.
On the flight deck there appeared to be chaos. Servitors with heavy equipment rushed past soldiers running to their Shark Assault craft. Fuel lines ran past carts loaded with ammunition. Racks of missiles swung by on massive cranes over top of Leman Russ tanks as they rolled into specialized landers. The General waded through the activity towards a green and gold trimmed craft where his aide, Lieutenant Savro took his bags from him to be stowed away.
"Good morning sir. The landing is going to schedule as we speak. We should be launching in fifteen minutes."
"Very good Mr. Savro." Currant placed his hands on the railing and watched with contained amazement at the activity of the deck. Down the line of the massive launch bays, Sharks were rocketing through the atmosphere shields separating the pressurized ship from the hard vacuum of space. Past the shimmering blue fields he could only make out the glint of drive engines firing, sending thousands of Imperial soldiers to the surface. Soon it would be his turn to follow them into the impending battle.
His current intelligence told of a possible Ork presence on the surface already. Eldar technology had been reported as well. The Adeptus Astartes were due to make an appearance to secure the relics on the planet. Surely the forces of Chaos sensed the powers of such items as well and in his gut he felt he should expect them. A parsec over was the expanding territory of Tau space. Surely an Imperial presence here would draw their attention. The fleet along with a Space Marine battle barge would own the space around the planet so any battles would likely be fought on the surface. For this he felt grateful. He was a commander on the ground and a battle in space would see him largely pushed to the sideline to allow Commander Bough to do what he did best. He breathed deep of the recycled air just before the command lander lit up it's drives and took off with several G's of acceleration into the void.
OOC Notes
Elsewhere, under the Karakov Desert, the Necrons, ancient death machines, rose. They set up their Stronghold, in their Catacombs. Being in such a place, it was downright impossible to destroy it by conventional means. After it was done, they'd rise up to the surface, and start their deathless march, The Necron Lord leading them. They'd slaughter any that got in their way.
Lastly, the Tau flung themselves from the edges of the Warp, and arrived near the Planet. They quickly got their Strike Team on the ground, to establish the Colony. The Air Caste piloted the Tau Warfleet to beware an engagement with Imperial Fleets, who were right nearby. The Earth Caste quickly finished the City in hours, and the Fire Caste readied themselves, the finest of the Tau Warriors, and the finest auxilleries they could muster. The city was fixed, and a powerful Stronghold made. The Tau immediately set out on marches to obtain and secure more land, Shas'O T'roi (or Commander Artflower) and High Ethereal Aun'Va stayed in the City to prepare.

There was war. All the forces are fighting for control of Zaraphen, a lush Planet with a good location and lots of resources. However, the races could not do it alone...that is where they need you.
You are Farseer *Male/Female Name of Your Choice Here*. You have come to stop the Necrons, and keep the Planet from the wrong hands. Your warriors are deadly, swift, and silent, and using their abilities will make all others cower before you.
You are the Black Apostle, the Inheritor, *Male/Female Name Here*. Lead your armies of followers in the name of the Chaos Gods. Chaos cannot be denied. All shall see the futility of their ways. You will secure the Space Marine Relics for your own.
You are Archon *Male/Female Name Here* of the Black Heart Kabal. You have come to feast on the Souls of the weak, and gain revenge against the vile Farseer *Farseer's Name Here*. Everyone here is weak, and ripe for slaughter. You have no equal in cruelty, cunning, and speed.
You are Brother-Captain *Male Name Here*. You have come to this Planet to secure Relics from the Blood Ravens past. You will succeed much like Brother-Captain Davian Thule did back on Kronus...without fail. Everything on this Planet must be purged, lest Relics fall into wrong hands.
You are Governer-Militant *Male/Female Name* of the "1st Zaraphen Conquerers". Unlike those before you, you shall win the Planet for the Imperium and the Immortal God Emperor of Man. If Brother-Captain *Insert Brother-Captain's Name Here* refuses to leave, he shall fall with the rest.
A Few Rules on this Roleplay.
1: The Playable Races are Eldar, Dark Eldar, Space Marines, Chaos, and Imperial Guard, as I am handling the duties of Tau, Necrons, and Orks.
2: I'll take any number of people, however, I only need five to make this work.
3: Please, no Power-Playing, Meta-Gaming, or God-Modding. It only makes you look like an idiot.
4: There are several territorries on Zaraphen. Not all of them need to be captured to have your side win, merely eliminating the other races in their strongholds through good planning can win it for you. Most of our posts will consist of the fights themselves.
If you have any questions, contact me via PM, or posting in this topic. I'll answer them.
