Introduction

Full credit for the idea will go to Sir Drazel. I appreciate him allowing me to do this RP.

Whatever you were doing that that night, you were found. You could have been drinking, sleeping, working, or anything else, but some strange men found you. You were knocked out cold, some of you fighting against these unknown figures coming after you. You slowly regain conscience only to find a sack over your head. When you awake again you see yourself strapped to a chair with other people tied and bound also in a circular gray room with no windows and only an arched doorway.
Two people approached the middle of the room. One was a man wearing blue jeans and a red shirt with a black unbuttoned over-shirt with blood red eyes having the intent to kill. The other was a woman wearing a white as snow dress with a very pale complexion, blue eyes staring into your soul. The man stepped forward and took in a deep breath saying, "Hello I am Sorence, Warrior of Life. You have all been chosen complete a mission. Your reward will be explained later, but be reassured, it is worth staying around. Then again, you really can’t move now, can you?” He let out a slight chuckle, looking at the men and women strapped down in the chairs. The woman elbowed Sorence in the ribs and took a step forward. “My name is Sara Packer. I am the Warrior of Knowledge. I know all from your lives, past, present, future. You were all once great warriors of the universe. However your memory is dim from a great unknown war. There is one more thing you have though. You each have a power! Ability that no one has been able to control. You will learn to harness this ability over the many quests you have to go through. I also know that what I am saying might not make sense to you. This is why I have had some of my companions bring out these special orbs. Each orb belonged to a great warrior. Find the orb that draws to you most, and then touch it. You will then see parts of your past and remember what happened. This time, you will remember your birth and your early training." She said with a straight face. “But before we release you, a small portion of you power will be returned to you. It will be weak, just to test you loyalty to us. You were all once great, but are now reduced to traniees. Prove you can return the shards, you will obtain more and more of your power.” She made a slow walk around the room, her hand touching everyone’s cheek. Once finished, she walked through the archway. A rack of multi-coloured orbs were wheeled out by two men dressed in all black. Sorence stepped up again while the two were finishing up their work. “Every time you finish a quest, another memory and part of your power will be provided to you. You will be hunting for... well; I’ll get to that later.”
Sorence now walked out of the arched doorway, then made a motion to the two men. He disappeared in the dark void while the men released the new warriors. Once finished, one went through the doorway while the other lingered at the arch. He pushed a stone tablet on the side of the arch. The stone doorways opened on the south, east, and west sides of the circular room. “To your south, there is a weapon and clothing room. To you east, there is a restroom. To your west, there is a training ground. Have fun.” He walked into the shadows, the archway closing behind him.

___________________________

Decades ago you were all once in the greatest place of the universe. It was run by rankings. The highest ranking you can obtain is the warrior. You were all great warriors guarding the balance of the elements. A great orb levitated in the throne room of the palace. It held every single element within it. Your job was to make sure no demon or life form got its hands on it. If so, the universe could be in danger if the elements got in the wrong hands.
Soon enough, a whole army came. All of you stood guard fighting them off. Slaying demon after demon your victory was near. But then it happened. Suddenly the other protectors in the Palace turned into turncoats, killing every one of you. Even your closest friends could have killed you because their desire for power was too strong. They ran to the orb and grabbed it but were stopped by the creator of the orbs, Golian. He slayed down the betrayers but began to be too much. So for his last act he destroyed the orb, breaking it into several shards.
The shards shot off onto a planet called Earth. They were scattered all throughout its time line, from its beginning to its end. Golian fell to his knees as a cloaked figure approached him, ending his life.
But for the catch! The protectors of the orbs cannot die. You have all been reborn in a planet called, Earth. You all continued with your life and obtained a job, wife or husband, and maybe even some kids. But time has come and your duty is not fulfilled. You are captured in your sleep and brought back to your home planet of the universe. This is where you begin to feel your sudden thirst of war and begin revealing your hidden powers. You each are restored back with great ability of assassin, along with a new statistic. An element. Since the orb broke, the elements were set free. Even though you are the ones who obtain the elements doesn't mean others have too.
Whoever gathers up all the shards of the orb and redeems them back together, is granted two options. To place orb back in the palace and bring balance back to universe. Or to keep every single element and power it obtains and turns it over to you. Your choice comes now.
You are to seek these shards and gather them up before it gets into the wrong hands. Others know about what has happen and are on the hunt. The fate of all living things rests on top of this small organization. These "elemental warriors".

Rules

I want this to be a mature RP. So swearing is allowed, but be tasteful. Please don’t drop the f’ bomb every sentence.

Romance is allowed, but take anything above PG-13 to the PMs

No God Moding

If you leave, try to find a replacement for your character. If you can’t, we will kill your character in a good way.

My word is final, but I am open for suggestions on some things

Don’t clutter the OOC with arguments. Please take it to the PMs

Try to post once every two days.

Tell everyone if you will be gone for a vacation. If a lot of people will be on vacation, then the RP will be paused until a determined date.

Remember, you are slowly regaining your skills. Don’t give your character amazing parkour skills until you regain your memory 3 times or so (including your first one of course). Certain weapons that your past self had used can be more powerful than something you have never used before. Past self= great with huge blade; you= good with huge blade.

"Are you crazy?!" Sara yelled at Sorence while in the head room. "Why did we take these people by force, INCLUDINING a seven year old? These people will go crazy with the power, even if it is small! They could co-" She was cut of by Hal walking through the archway. His skin tight body suit completely blended him into the darkness. His grey eyes were all that split through the darkness.

"Well, they are all out and about now. Emile should be in shortly; he wanted to provide them with some info on the place. Kind of him I guess, but I see no point. They'll probably just kill themselves in an instant. Their powers will easily over run them- like that Fire Warrior from our past life. She lost control and burst into flames. Or that Mystic girl, split in half by her own portal"

Sorence drew his Jambiya, flipping it in the air, sharp curved blade almost making contact with his skin. "Remember, they was betrayed like the rest of us. They lost control because they were near death. Do I have to remind what happened to your past self? You didn't even need someone to hurt you. All the comotion screwed up the clones, your body losing key features like lungs, heart, brain, and limbs. You turned into a clump of skin before the rest of us even recieved blows."

Hal began to shoot daggers at Sorence. He was about to argure with him when Emile walked into the room. "All situated out there. I overheard the argument at the doorway. Hal, he's right, don't argue with him." Sorence gave a satisfied grin while Hal stood there, face unchanging. "Anyway, you want to talk about the FATES or not?"

Sorence winced at the word, FATE, his jambiya slipping from his hand and cutting clean through the stone floor. He looked down, eyes misty, thinking about the word. He picked up his jambiya and looked to the group, murmering the words, "We lost four more warriors to 13, 10, and 9." The group stood still, an aura of sadness crept through the still air.

Sara was the first to speak. "So the Sage's Castle and the Mayan Temples are still incomplete?" Her eyes, now clear with tears, voice trembling, "We sent out level 2 Warriors to fight these FATE members, but they failed. Sorence, we can't send out these new recuits!"

Sorence gave a look full of hope to Sara. "Well, we got the best of the best lined up here. I've got faith in them. But first, they need to get back into shape. Hal and Emile, set up the trainning field. Sara, stay here, we need to talk." Hal and Emile nodded, running off on a secret passage onto the field, completely avoiding the main room.

The trainning course was set up, Hal in the arena and Emile setting up the dummies. The thing about these dummies was, they moved. If someone threw a knife, they would dodge. If they were struck, the blow wouldn't damage them at all, only affect the health counter. a metal plate on their their chest that read 100HP. If it reaches zero, then the dummy would shut down. There were four dummies set up on every corner of the arena. While people fought them off the stage, the arena was ment for two or more warriors to fight it out to prove who was better. Both Hal and Emile thought, This will be hell on Earth in a few minutes.

Laisin stabbed turned and tried to swing but hit only air, the curse was loud as his anger build up. He had been attacking that dammed piece of wood for a few minute's now in the beginning it had fascinated him how it dodged his strikes but now it had become a irritation just as the fact a sword was heavier than he had thought it was. Laisin dropped his sword and now just plainly charged the dummy hitting a wall instead. Another curse as he turned and punched the dummy in the face finally placing a hit but it hurted his fist more than it was worth. Laisin picked up his sword again and restarted his hitting the air but the plain furry and cold logic made him go on until he finally began to place hit's with the sword's but they were light and not damaging at all so soon he stopped from being too tired to lift his sword putting it back in it's holster with some trouble.

when Laisin sat down he became invisible without noticing it it was like a flash one second he wasn't there but he didn't know and nobody mentioned it so he wouldn't know. This was happening all the time The short inadvisability seemed to be needed to suppressed not activated so Laisin had his moments of being noting and then another of being back it was like a flash really every minute it seemed to happen. Laisin looked to his new clothes he found them pretty amazing he had put the plates into the clothes on the spot taking a short time but still he had to get used to not trip over the cape like he had done some time ago making it obvious how much of a idiot he really was but he still liked his clothes he was only not used to these things. From boredom he began on some more normal training pushup's and other things but all the time he observed other warrior's it was obvious he was green horn no body needed to tell him that.

Drake rubbed his wrists as he looked over the orbs that were wheeled out moments ago. A few of the others stood up immediately and left the room, heading to the arena, or armory, or wherever else. They told him that he had a power now, but he felt the same. That they were all great warriors at one time, but all he knew was his life he had now. He didn't know what he was supposed to say to all this, so he started toward the orbs. To one specifically. As he drew close, he reached out his hand to touch it when electricity arced between his hand and the orb. He frowned and reached out again, ignoring the discharge the second time and touched the orb.

Drake blinked after only a moment that had felt like an eternity. As he let the memories sink in, he knew he wasn't the same. He heard a few loud curses coming from the direction of the arena and decided he may as well see what was going on. He stopped by the armory first and grabbed his pistol that had been left there and a set of clothes. He couldn't just walk around in a suit all day. As he turned to leave, a sword caught his eye on the wall. He remembered it from the memories. It was his. He took it from the wall and tested it a few times before strapping the scabbard to his back. It felt natural to him. He lifted his hand and let the electricity jump and dance around his fingers as he remembered doing in the memories. As another curse emanated from the direction of the arena, he let his hand drop and headed that way.

Jonathan

Jonathan looked at the orbs which had been reeled in. he wasn't totally sue what they were doing there but knew that standing about would do nothing. He walked over to the orbs and almost immediately felt...something...He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and reached out his hand which seemed to guide itself. He suddenly felt a cold breeze n his palm and pulled his hand back. Jonathan opened his eyes and saw the orb that he was standing in front of. He reached out again and ignored the cool breeze. His finger grazed the edge, but that was all it needed. The memories threw themselves at him. He heard a scream but ignored it. Jonathan shook his head and turned to the armoury. It had all of his throwing knives and the whip but there was one more weapon that wasn't his...but was...in a way...He blinked a couple of times and realized that it was the weapon his past life had used. He picked up the long shaft of wood that was as long as he was.
"A...a bo staff..?" He swung it couple of times and t didn't seem that hard to wield. He smiled for the first time that day and headed for the training area.

"HA!" he screamed as he swung his staff. It hit the dummy in the face and the health went down by thirteen. He swung again but missed. He swung his staff again and a again but never hit. Jonathan pulled out a knife and threw it at the dummy which bounced off and nearly hit Jonathan. He dropped his staff and raised his hands in panic. The wind picked up a little and the knife swerved suddenly to the right, just barely missing Jonathan. He breathed a sigh of relief, picked up his knife, sheathed it and continued with his training.

Sarah

Sarah was still holding the orb she had chosen. Or rather, that had chosen her. She turned to the armoury and picked up her weapons but was being pulled towards a new weapon. It was a war hammer that was about a half of her height in height and the hammer end was covered in metallic scales.
"Dragon Hammer..." She said without meaning to say it. Sarah walked into the training ground and walked over to a boy attacking a dummy.
"Hey, I'm Sarah Ravenheart." She said in the nicest way possible. The boy turned to her.
"Jonathan Darkholme...pleased to meet you." They shook hands and continued to attack the dummy, this time double teaming it. Sarah smacked t to Jonathan with her hammer and he hit it back with the staff. They finally stopped when the dummy shut down and she nodded before walking away. She headed to a boy with a rather heavy looking sword and stood behind hit.
"Hi!"

Lucy sighed heavily, rubbing her head where she had been struck down. She had listened to the speech with mild interest; something about an orb and warriors and powers. She scoffed lightly, considering the absurdity of the situation. Slowly she stood and stretched her tight muscles from the uncomfortable position, a sin to a dancer's body. These people were anything but classy, knocking them out and taking them prisoner in the middle of the night. They were anything but gentlemen. But then again, gentlemen were never Lucy's style.

The blonde rose from her chair, mismatched eyes scanning the room. A few were playing heros in another room, obviously believing the load of crap feed down their throats, while others appeared to have few actions. Her brown and blue eyes scanned the faces to memory, frowning slightly at the child. They could be such a... bother. But at least it's a boy. Female children are just so needy. The girl chuckled to the thought, knowing she favored the role of damsel in distress or the weak female in her production of life. It was all pretense, of course, but no one knew that besides her.

Slowly Lucy made her way to the remaining orbs, the 'source of their powers,' to see what the fuss what about. One caught her attention. Without hesitation she snatched it up as Lucy was not one to be kept waiting. Immediately upon contact, Lucy withdrew a step still clutching the orb as she hand weakly scratched at her left eye. She hissed in pain, hazy visions tantalizing her mind. She could see herself smiling a wicked grin that Lucy know all to well. A maze, the girl in white, twin daggers flashing, a strange weapon unfamiliar to the dancer, and the name Amillia. It made little sense. The blonde, herself it appeared, turned in the vision to smile at Lucy. She too had mismatched eyes. One of Heaven's blue and of Hell's eternal red flame.

The pain subsided as quickly as it came and the girl's hand hung limply by her side. She looked ill, her pale skin taking an ash tone as she waved slightly on her feet. Taking a deep breath she looked to the orb in her hand. Its reflecting shell smiled at her, taunting her with a dark, hidden knowledge. Even so, Lucy could clearly see the change even if she felt no different then before. Her eyes, although always strange and unsightly, mirrored those of the girl in the vision, herself in a past life.

Against all odds, Lucy smiled, wrapping her fingers around the orb. "I suppose it isn't all rubbish after all," she said to herself. She chuckled, sweeping her gaze about the room again before heading off toward the armory. As she had suspected, the strange weapons in her vision were present, neatly waiting for her to reclaim. She slide the strange weapon, the Kusarigama, into her belt after testing its comfortable wait. Even if she had little knowledge of what it was, it felt familiar to her; the dragon design on its blade seemed to mock her human form. Similarly, the daggers were concealed into to the thigh of her boots.

A soft, pleasant smile warmed Lucy's cheeks as she returned to the room. Another pretense, but genuine to anyone who observed her. Her eyes returned to watching the small group, feeling there was something important she was meant to remember but unable to grasp its tail. She smoothed her short skirt and pink blouse, blinking slowly to spread a face of innocents into her features as she stood alone, critically observing those near.

Laisin looked up from his position to look at a girl with cold emotionless eye's he wasn't a talker her comment sounded like a dog barking to him the plain word "Hi." Irritated him but he didn't show it he had learned that showing irritation was useless he maybe couldn't really fight with that dammed piece of sharpened metal that was made to be light but Laisin was just not strong from physical. But still Laisin couldn't talk too good so he said it a little nervous "Eh, hay. I'm Jacob but say Laisin I'm trying to live my past live again, who where you as I seem to once have been the warrior of mind a good thing to read a person like a book I literally hear your director's thought's. Wait, let me try I need to practice." Laisin concentrated a second focusing his view on her eye's that seemed to help "Your Sarah, I can read that because it flashes in your mind as soon as you have processed the question." Laisin now straightened his back to look around for a second, he wanted power but he had a plan. One shard wouldn't be enough he wanted the entire thing and as soon as he had his full power then he could turn invisible and properly do some mind control so he guessed it would be easy but first he wanted the first task.

Laisin had seen in his first glance she was more likely to be a enemy then a ally and thought's did give a good view on people. Once he had made a descent contact then he could constantly read the mind in the eye's hearing the voice he didn't say that to people as it would creep them out to know he could with some practice delve deeper.

When he started to read her mind she didn't mind. It wasn't until her brain shouted at her: "What if he reds you deeper thoughts?!" She switched the hammer to her left hand, raised her right and brought it down on the right side of his face. She pointed her finger t him and put on an angry face.
"Delve into my mind again and I'll do worse than that!" She let the hammer head slam against to the ground to prove her point. She straightened up her face a little and calmed herself down enough to talk to him normally.
"Seeing as we've got the introductions out of the way, we may as well train a little...this is a training room after all." Sarah walked into the middle of the arena...thing and adjusted her poncho. She then took up a fighting stance and lowered a knife into her left hand.
"Oh, by the way...my name is Evangela." She readied herself for the fight that may or may not take place.

(You don't have to fight if you don't want to. how will we do the fight anyway? One person controls and we decide on the winner before hand or what?)

Michael Greco
(The Warrior's Temple)

Michael didn't much care for being kidnapped, but it had happened a few times in the past, so he was at least used to it. What he was not used to were the kidnappers telling him that he had some power, Well there was that one drug addict... but that was beside the point. Since the colored balls had been wheeled out a few of the other people had gotten up and touched them, only to act weird afterwards. He felt a bit old looking at the predominately teenaged looking cast of people he didn't care about, but he knew he had to either do what they said or stay in that uncomfortable chair longer. He stood, rubbing his wrists where the bindings were, and approached the rack.

Walking down the row he ran his hand over each one with a gentle touch, nothing happened. When he reached the third one from the end he felt something before his hand slid off, so he placed it back on. When the pain began he gripped the orb tighter, like an electric fence that was unwilling to let one go. When it was over he drew away from it and pressed his hand against his head attempting to push the headache out. When it subsided he did feel different; he felt strong. The memories weren't informative, bits and pieces that should all be brought together before sending a bunch of strangers out to do your work.

He turned towards the armory, wondering what kind of weapon he actually had used before. There wasn't anything within the fragments so he'd just go and have a look. While the others were picking out weapons that they probably don't know the names of, Michael scanned the walls and every weapon he could see and nothing stood out to him. He didn't need to decide now, besides it seemed that one of the girls was challenging some lanky kid and since she had crashed a large hammer into the ground, it would probably be fun to watch.

Alec Williams

The Warrior's Temple

During the entire speech made by her kidnappers, Alec rolled her eyes a grand total of thirty three times. She'd have preferred being ransomed than listening to some mental criminals, at the very least she'd know what she was in for. But then, a couple minutes later, someone wheeled a cart full of coloured spheres and set them all free. What kind of kidnapper lets their captives free? Alec glanced around the room, taking in the appearances and impressions of many teenagers plus a kid. With that number of people, they could probably take any number of kidnappers. It doesn't really make sense.. Maybe that bull story wasn't so much of a lie after all. By the time she got used to her fingers again and got up to inspect the orbs, the crowd had already thinned out a bit. It seemed like they actually believed the fairytale the kidnappers had fed them. Well, it probably won't hurt to at least take a look, right?

As she approached the strange orbs, Alec was completely sure that nothing would happen. And then, just when she was about to run her hand over one specifically, it disappeared in a flicker of light; only to materialize a couple inches away. The hell? Alec tried again, and kept trying until she had run around at least once around the room, before she managed to catch it. However, the moment she touched it; images flashed across her mind. Old instruments, travelling, rabid tigers, twin swords; and then herself, she knew. Well. Seems like they weren't lying after all, then... Shrugging and putting on her headphones in an attempt to bypass a new uncomfortable headache, Alec hummed a piano piece of Beethoven's in time with her ipod while nearing the armory. Halfway there, she remembered the ability that she now supposedly possessed, trying it out now to teleport in front of the armory. In a veil of white light, she reappeared and walked right into a wall around gleaming weapons.

What a pain. I wish I were home... Playing with a violin would be so much better than having an ability I can't even use correctly. What's the point? Rubbing her head, Alec steadied any imbalance remaining and approached a wall of blades, particularly towards a neat set of scimitars she had seen just a few moments ago. Grabbing them, she unsheathed one; then marveled at the lightness and edge of the blade. Putting it away again, Alec excitedly swung them over one of her shoulders and briskly walked towards the training ground. She, for one, knew how to use a sword or two. Alec had been trained for it since she was a kid. I suppose this will make up for having a crappy use of teleport. For now.

Ignoring the people around her, she made her way to one of the practice dummies a little farther from the rest. Rather not have anyone watching me. Crowds make doing things difficult. Throwing off the sheath, Alec took a few swings with a scimitar in either hand, getting used to the feel of it. Not that she really had to, it already felt right. Old habits die hard, I guess. Now approaching the dummy, she took a deep breath and threw herself forward into the practice, moving through one hand and then the next; sparring with the straw thing. It took a few minutes before Alec started to get serious. The dummy, as of yet hadn't even been hit, after all.

Moving in time with the music from her headphones (which was now playing 'Marianas Trench'),she aggressively whittled away at the dummy's HP, taking time to enjoy herself a bit. Pausing for breath, Alec smiled coldly as she came up with an idea. Slicing her blade in a downwards arc with one hand, she used the other to unsheathe her second scimitar. Then, at the moment of contact letting the sword go, she disappeared in light to come a few feet above the ground, directly behind the dummy. Using gravity, Alec cleanly cut the thing in half before losing balance again and landing hard on one leg; which buckled and threw her on the ground on her side. Taking a couple seconds to clear her head of pain, she carefully got up; thanking whatever god for not crushing her hands or any other part of her body. Alec then quickly sheathed her swords and slowly made her way back to the growing crowd on the other side of the training grounds, hoping to be completely unnoticed as she corrected the headphones to cover her ears again. A thin coat of sweat covered her forehead, but otherwise she was perfectly not tired after getting her breathing back into control.

Looney was a bit different then the others. You could tell that by the straight jacket he was wearing. He gave no questions as to who the strange people were when they took him, where they were going when they dragged him away from the mental ward, or why he was here when they left him tied up in a char. When the people talked to them about their 'past' and 'powers' he simply remained hunched over in his chair. When they cut him and the others loose, him taking somewhat longer as they needed to remove his jackets restraints, he simply wandered over to where the orbs were. He leaned in, picking one seemingly at random, and picked it up... with his teeth.

Then he swallowed it.

He showed no reaction to the influx of memories or power. Instead, he proceeded then to the training area, still dressed in his attire from the asylum, and squatted down at the edge of the training area. He put his pinkey finger in hes mouth and tilted his head to the side was he watched the others. His expression was almost childish and curious as he watched them.

Danny was confused. First it was as to why he was tied to a chair. Was he in trouble? It was only a loaf of bread...he couldn't help it, he was hungry! But the reason to confusion changed as the man and woman explained things. It was a bit hard for him to keep up with what the man said, his seven-year-old fidgeting causing the chair to squeak some. Even what the lady said, he couldn't really retain. He just wanted to get out of the chair. He did manage to remember their names, though. He was always good with names. Eventually, after the man and woman were done speaking, he was released, he quite literally jumping out of the chair to the floor. He stuck his tongue out at the men who had originally tied him up. "Meanies!" He then watched as the adults of the room found their orbs, each reacting differently as they touched it, giving a small look of shock and gross amusement as one of them swallowed it. "Eeeeew."

The then looked to the rack, where, on a lower rack just his height, sat a green orb. Like it's position, the orb was smaller, he being able to just barely grab it in his hand. As he did, he felt a tingly sensation all over, as if he was being tickled from the inside out. Wood began to grow under his hand, reaching around the orb like a larger, yet skinnier, hand. The wood then grew downward, smooth to the touch, yet gnarled with knots. The growth and feeling continued until the wood created a staff almost equal in height to the boy himself, the tingling feeling dulling as the wood slowed, both stopping at the same time. Danny blinked twice, rubbed his eyes, stared at the staff for a moment, then smiled. "Cool!"

His thoughts then strayed to a book...it was a book he knew was his, but he could not remember a thing about it. He decided that he should ask the very people that brought him here. They would know, right? Making his way to the split toward the armory, restrooms, and training grounds, he decided to follow the voices he heard to the training room. As he entered, he oogled for a minute as he watched the warriors train. Too bad he couldn't fight like that...

Eyeing a woman on the sidelines, he walked up to her. "Excuse me?" The lady did not look down, apparently not hearing him, or ignoring him. "Excuuuuuse me?" He tugged on her shirt a little to get her to look down. "Do you know where my backpack is? I think my book is in it..."

Laisin looked to her a second taking the hit without protest "Well not the best way to say your not happy but I will accept it." He followed her but he couldn't hold himself from saying "Your Sarah Raven a bad lyre I can't stop the direct thought's from entering my mind but still let's do our practice fight." Laisin attacked first swinging his sword sidewards against her hammer before his other hand plainly hit her in the face before he he put his attention on the knife not wishing to have it in his stomach. He retreated launching a kick on her hand but missing it he had to be quick after all but he did make some distance again. "Your turn."

(I will just let you win but please don't beat Jacob up too much.)

"Your turn." Sarah grinned before swinging her hammer which knocked the boy's sword to the side. For such a heavy looking weapon, it was surprisingly light weight. She held it in her right hand and spun round, nearly hitting Laisin in the face. She threw her hammer up into the air and threw her hands up and forward towards the boy and two knives flew past his head. She caught the hammer a little unsteadily and swung again but never hit him. She swung at his feet and tripped him up but also herself. She landed in a pile on the ground.
"Ow..."

Lucy had been watching the scene with a dull amusement before a voice interrupted her focus. "Excuse me?"

Lucy's eyes didn't drop to the pest to allow it the satisfaction of her attention. With a quick motion, she tossed her hair over her shoulder. It was the same gesture as if swatting a fly. Perhaps, in her mind, she was. "Excuuuuuse me? Do you know where my backpack is? I think my book is in it..."

The girl frowned as the child touched her, whining as they so often did. Even with that said, she did feel a tinge of pity for the boy. She turned and crouched down to the boy's level. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't hear you." Lucy flashed him a gentle smile. Unfortunately for Lucy, she always seemed to be attracting children with her younger appearance and mock innocents. And besides that, she was surprisingly skilled with soothing them. "What's your name? I'm Lucy," she cooed softy, surprising herself with a slight purr woven into her voice. She coughed, rubbing her throat. "That was odd," she mumbled to herself. Her hand drift toward her orb, curious as to its power linking her with animals.

Shaking her head, she returned her attention to the boy. "You said you were looking for a book? Have you tired the armory yet, honey? That's where I got my.... Toys from." Lucy chuckled, feeling the comfortable weight of her 'toy' Kusarigama swinging from her hip. She grasped the boy's hand and stood. "Come on, I can show you where it is."

As Lucy lead the boy to their destination, her eyes feel upon another male tilting his head and his finger placed beside his mouth. A shudder ran through Lucy as she pulled her gaze away. There seemed to be something important about him that she should remember. Unfortunately for her, she could not recall what that something was. "Do you see it?" she questioned the boy as they entered the armory.

Laisin just dodged every attack as it wend he couldn't read it properly as he didn't have the time but he could think quickly from him self one of his good trait's. The two knifes went just by his head now the question came up in his knife. Why were they ever allowed to use real weapons? He as roughly taken from his way of thinking as he went face first on the ground but she also got down. Laisin didn't have his sword but he was quickly on his feet again hearing her Ow "Going to hurt more in about a second." He kicked her in the mid side of her body right into the stomach under the rib's before he placed another feet on her hammer making it useless unless she would get some sort of strength boost. His hand pulled on of her own knifes a small one. His hand raised just above her face "What is your point of view on the world?" This was purely a distraction as he threw the knife backwards beginning to hit her in the face with two fist three times before he landed another kick this time on her head. He had to be quick but instead he tripped over the hammer making it a cowardice thing but it really just happened he fell straight into the cold handle of his own sword.

He just had some bad luck to end up there right there and he was almost out still he stood up "Why do I always go down in such a stupid way? I was dammed wining!" He was a bit angry understandable on the fact he had put thought on that fight and he has really wished to win still he lost by his own stupidity. Laisin began to laugh a little "Still well done victory is yours Ravenheart. Now I would wish to rest a little." He looked to the hand that he had put on his fore head for a short time finding blood on it not too much it would be bruise a pretty stupid one but still a bruise. Laisin went invisible for a second but it lasted longer this time around two second's but he moved again making him visible again as he went back to his chair watching others as he tried to stop the bleeding.

Zoe had listened to what the people had to say quietly, but not paying very much attention. When she was cut free, she stood up and began walking over to the leftover orbs, but she tripped over something that had been set at her feet. She leaned over and picked it up, it was her blue and silver halberd. She then remembered, she had been cleaning it when she was kidnapped, they probably brought it with her. She held it in her hands and stared down at it as if it was some forein object. When she sapped out of it, Zoe walked over and grabbed an orb that had caught her eye. When her skin mad contact with it, her eyes dialated and she saw visions, images flashed before her eyes, and then disappeared just as quickly. She gasped, and then glared at the orb with her stormy gray eyes, and put it away.
She slowly migrated over to the arena and looked around blankly before her eyes laid on a dummy across the room from her that hadn't been taken. Zoe didn't want to attack the stupid dummy, but walked over it anyway, passing by a creepy guy who had eaten his orb and her eyes landed on a guy who was bleeding. She sighed, not really wanting to help anyone, but thinking it better than fighting a dummy, and walked over to him. She had a bit of medical knowledge, so she might be able to help.
Zoe stood in front of him and looked at him, "You look like you could use someone who knows what they're doing." She said, pulling out a clean rag from her belt loop that she was probably about to use to clean her weapon when she was so rudely interrupted, and laid her halberd on the ground. "Move your hand." She instructed, using her open hand to tuck her smooth black hair behind her ear, and stepped closer to him, "what did you do?" She asked, pressing the rag to his forehead and applying pressure to stop the bleeding.

Danny beamed as the lady helped him. Lucy. Her name was Lucy. "I'm Danny!" As she lead him into the armory, his eyes widened at all the weapons on the walls. After he had had his fill of metal blades and other weapons, he spied a leather backpack in the center of the room, sitting on a pedestal. How convenient. He pointed excitedly. "There it is!" He reached for the bag, just barely getting it due to his height, the bag falling atop of him, knocking him down. "Ow!" Rubbing his head, he gave a pout, crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out at the bag. "Meanie!" He then grabbed the bag, opening it to reveal a large black-leather book. The cryptic language on the front of the book seemed so familiar to him, but he couldn't quite make out the silver characters. "Hmm..." He snapped as the letters made sense. "Spells! That's what it says..." He opened the book, the first page reading some kind of warning.

"'This book will learn as much as you,
So hear us out; what you must do
Is practice hard with all your might,
To become a Warrior to engage in fights
Against evil and those lusting power,
But ne'er alone; with your summoned friends of the hour.'"

It was obvious that he was quite absorbed, moving into the pages, reading one of the spells aloud. "D'nah d'iah di'diah dis!" The orb on Danny's staff glowed for several moments, a popping noise coming from before him. He looked over the book to see a confused-looking spider, to whom Danny wondered over. "Woah! That was cool!" He looked excitedly to Lucy. "Didja see that? Didja see that?"

Drake had entered the arena and stayed toward the back while he watched the others. There were only a few others around when he entered, but now almost everyone had either visited this place or were still here. The dummies themselves seemed to react independently from the normal machinery that would control them. They seemed to react to the person attacking instead of just random motions. After a bit, he watched with a bit of curiosity as a girl with a large hammer and a clutz with a blade confronted each other. Once the man had his sword knocked out of his hand, it seemed he finally got serious. Feels like I'm watching kids in a schoolyard... he couldn't help but thinking. He watched a woman with blond hair walk off with a small kid and decided it was time he stopped watching people beat each other and dummies up. Drake wasn't exactly the patient type and didn't like just waiting around, but he'd rather know what was going on instead of possibly getting injured on a dummy that wasn't worth it. There would be time to train later possibly, but he was no stranger to a fight; his military and FBI training had taken care of that.

He walked back to the entrance with his hands in his pockets and passed by a creepy looking guy with his head tilted to the side and seemed to be staring off at nothing. "You're drooling...." he said as he kept walking. Without looking to see if the guy acknowledged him, he made his way back to the room where they had been kept and briefed. He removed the scabbard and set it upright in a seat before taking the one next to it. Eventually the ones who brought them here would have to be back for them. He remembered the electricity from his first attempt to grab the orb. He stared at his gloved hand and tried to remember the events of touching the orb. After a moment, an arc of electricity jumped in his palm. He smiled and closed his hand into a fist before opening it quickly and watching the discharge of sparks and lightning dance and jump around his arm and hand. For the first time since he got there, Drake smiled.

# The Warrior's Temple, 2011-09-11 02:13:09, as written by Sorence
After Hal and Emile left the room, Sorence shifted his attention purely to Sara. "The way I learned that they all died was one warrior came back here. His arm was missing, eye gouged out, and a metal weight practically disloacting his leg. He was from the Sage's Castle. He said he ended up that way from only one FATE member. He claimed that this man had the ability to control metal, forming it into whatever shap he could think of. He died on in this very room about an hour before our new... guests, arived."

Sara was confused. "He was one of the lower ranking members, wasn't he? I know that certain high ranking members can literally destroy anything they touch, but the highest member you mentioned earlier was 9. Is that him? And why did you remove Hal and Emile? They are members equal to you." She asked, pushing her face forward, eyes questioning Sorence.

Sorence put his hand to his temple, shaking his head. "The reason why I pushed them away from the room was they question too much. They have no emotions, so they feel no confusion or pain when hearing anything. If I told them about this FATE member, then they could easily flip sides. Remember, they were once FATE members until we convinced them to join us. And yes, he is 9."

Sara bit her lip. She knew it was true. Her power being knowledge, she could easily understand why and how they could do what Sorence was mentioning. She was pacing back and forth, white dress dragging against the cold stone floor. After a minute of silence, a hawk flew through the circular window on the room of the ceiling. It landed next to Sara, note attached to its leg. It gave a little screech when the note was removed and then flew to Sorence. Sara read the message outloud.

This is from the team in the Mayan Temple. We are about to approach the main foes, 12 and 10, or better known here as Zulu and Lima. We are sending out our info we collected on these two. Zulu is magical while Lima is speed. We haven't fought them yet, so their stratgies are unknown. There is an arena in the center of a pyramid where what seems like an elevator is leading down. We have had some minor problems with the people here. They are more advanced than their time period, far more advanced than ours even. If we fail, warn the others that-

Sara ended abruptly. Her eyes blinking fastly, not understanding why the message ended quickly. Sorence looked at her, fists clenched. He asked for the note and a pen. She handed both to him and he quickly wrote a letter on the back of the paper. He attached it to the hawk's leg and it flew off towards the arena to Hal and Emile. It landed on Emile's shoulder, who was it the darkest corner of the arena. He read the letter, folded it, put it in his pocket, and walked over to Hal. He whispered some information to him and they both walked to the center of the arena where the duo had just finished their fight. Emile shouted in his monotonous voice, "All guests, please go to the head room. The doorway is now open." And the two walked through the middle room into the head room, archway now empty of stone.

I'm Laisin I can read mind's." He flickered into being invisible for a second but he raised his head to look at someone to be more precise two persons monotone voices that were good ones in Laisin's eye's he wished he had them emotion was weakness but to release emotion he would need to kill first. He sprinted right into the main hall saying to any superior that he couldn't see so quickly "Laisin is ready for order's."

Zoe shrugged and let him go, why should she care if he wanted to get beat up? She leaned over and picked up her halberd and followed him into the head room where they had been instructed to go. She stood there and stared blankly at the other people in the room. There weren't many, it seemed that the others hadn't come in yet. Her eyes drifted to a far wall and she began thinking about her job.
Zoe worked at a year round Halloween store called Forever Spooks, it didn't get much buisness any time other than Halloween, except for the occasional person coming in to buy a costume for a skit, or a wig, or costume make up, or the occasional collector, but it was still a great place to work at, and she still had plenty of responsibilities. The store was run by two sisters, they are both older woman, probably in their late 70's (Zoe's never bothered to ask) who always needed her help. Zoe felt bad that she hadn't been able to tell them that she won't be able to come to work for a while, if not ever. But it couldn't be helped, it wasn't as if she had planned on getting kidnapped.
Then her thoughts shifted to her irrational fear of fire. She had always feared fire, but there was never a root to her fear, something that had happened to her, or something that she had seen or heard or learned that had caused this fear, it had always been there in the back of her mind. And now, she learned that her power had to do with fire? Unreal! This couldn't happen, she loved the idea that she could do some supernatural power, but...fire? The one power she would rather give than keep? It was terrible.
Zoe tried to think of other things, but her mind always went back to fire, to the point that she could see the small memory of her past life playing with a small tounge of fire, dancing it around on her hands, playing with...with the fire. She saw Athena, her old name apparently, burn herself a few times, but then laugh and begin playing with it again. Zoe's fear would make sense if Athena had been afraid of flames as well, but Athena only laughed at the blisters, the reminders of her mistakes, and kept trying.
Zoe closed her eyes and took a deep breath. If I could do this in my past life, I can do it now. She thought, then opened her eyes and then held up her right hand and focused on it. Her fears gone, because she didn't believe she could actually do it. She remembered past feelings and past thoughts and all of a sudden, there was a spark and a small flame appeared on her hand. She gasped, though the fire did not burn her. She had gasped because that fire on her hand reminded her of her fear. She cupped her left hand over it and put out the small flame. Then, took a deep breath and tried again. The flame was slightly bigger this time, but still ver small and she stared at it, fighting the constant fear and urge to put it out.

Having watched the idiot get beaten and then refuse the help of another, Michael sort of hoped this would lead him to a serious injury during whatever they did next. He followed the girl who was trying to help out of the arena and armory, having not found anything he considered necessary, and passed the clumsy fool. "Pain is a great teacher, losing a leg's a better one though." He didn't acknowledge him further than that comment and now stood watching the other girl setting her hand on fire repeatedly. She looked as though she was attempting to subdue her fear of it; staring intently at her hand as it was slightly shaking. He had seen some kids back at work with the same look, either on some test that would cause them to fail, or with a knife in their hands as they tried intimidating someone. He didn't like getting rid of that fear, it was useful, especially in the latter case, but it was probably better for her to get over it quickly.

Not wanting to startle her, as it could have very bad consequences, he walked around the girl until he was maybe six or seven feet in front of her. She was still focused on her hand, still burning as it had before, so Michael decided to take the initiative. "Excuse me, I hope I'm not breaking your concentration, but..." He trailed off and laughed a little. He really should have planned out what he was going to say beforehand better. Then something came to mind. "Would you like to practice with that? I could probably last awhile depending on how good you are a aiming." Congratulations you just signed up to get fire thrown at you, aren't you happy?

Claire still couldn't believe that her kidnappers had managed to best her. She had indeed but up a great fight but with so many people attacking her at once she was easily overwhelmed. Even she as a martial arts expert knew numbers were power and no person could overcome a barrage of people. So she was knocked unconcious and brought to what she looked like the basement of a temple. She had been to temples before in her travels around the world when she was younger and still learning all her martial arts training.

After Sorence and Sara finished thier speech, she and the other prisoners were released. She wanted to immediatly punch the man who set her free but she held back out of curiosity more than caution. She stood up and watched as the others moved to the orbs, each person taking one in hand or in one case in mouth, and showing no real physical change but still each person walked away from the cart showing some change had occured.

Claire walked over to the cart herself, she didn't really believe the words that Sorence and Sara had said but after witnessing everyone else going over she just couldn't help herself. She looked at the the remaining orbs. There weren't that many left now. She knew which one drew her in right away, it was same dark brown as her skin and it seemed to call to her. Without hesitation she picked it up and gasped aloud as a few scraps of memories flew into her mind. Earth breaking and a woman causing them, her name had been Izumi. That was the gist of what she got. She could feel a different power within her now. A strange feeling like she knew her place on earth. She flexed her right hand into a fist and saw a rock at her feet explode into dust. Startled she quickly took a deep breath and relaxed easing her tention.

She noticed how several people had left the room and gone to the armoury and then the training grounds. She decided to follow thier example and went to the armoury first. She had been in bed when the kidnappers attacked so she was still in her bed clothes. She browsed the clothing finding some suitable clothing. She also found some study combat boots and armoured gloves for her hands. She had planned on heading to the training grounds but a voice called them to the head room so she went there instead. She stood to the side leaning against the wall waiting or whatever they had to say. She noticed how ready a man calling himself Laisin was to follow thier orders. Claire immediately disliked him, this man had no pride. No one was going to tell her what or how to do things. She would do what she had to but she would do them her own way.

Lucy looked between the boy and the spider as she tried to hide a look of disgusts from her face. "Uhhh. Yes, it is... Cool," she managed to say calmly. "But spiders can be dangerous. Maybe you should stick with... Less legged friends." Lucy had never been a fan of spiders. She was the one with sticky fingers and didn't need a bug to outdo her.

Great. Now the pest can Summon more pests, she snickered to herself. Even with that said, though, she couldn't contain a glance to her own orb and wonder what ability she was gifted with. She knew it was something with animals, but other than that she was completely clueless.

"All guests, please go to the head room. The doorway is now open."

Lucy cast a quick glance over her shoulder. Perhaps this would be a good time to hand the kid off to someone else. As quickly as this thought came, however, Lucy turned back to Danny. If they both had abilities relating to animals, it may not be such a bad idea to keep it around for a bit longer. "Come on, Danny. We should go see what they want. Just stay by me and I'll make sure no one hurts you, kay?" she said, flashing a smile and tussling his hair. She chuckled, thinking how easy it was to charm kids with a few carefully chosen words.

She lead him back to the main room where another warrior was already waiting. She sighed, deciding to play nice for the time being. "You are Laisin?" she said softly, walking near him. "My name is Lucy. You are awfully energetic for this. Aren't you the least bit afraid?" she questioned, pulling a false-yet-convincing face of fright.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

I would like to say that we could restart and we could because I'm at least with maybe some others that could be taken in again by PM but it was a enormous time of inactivity but you do have my support.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Im sorry I haven't posted for the longest time guys. I've had some school problems along with some personal stuff with family. Im sorry that I abandoned you guys

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Sorence hasn't signed in for three days now where at thee possibility's:

1 Abandoned: I don't think this happened she and the role play where going good
2 distraction: A accident could have happened or maybe she went on holiday
3 A mechanical problem: maybe her internet broke down or her computer broke

I think were forced to play the waiting game for now she will come back once

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

I'm waiting for Sorence to post before I do.

Btw, I'm going away on Oct.1 for a week to Ottawa. I'll be back by the 8th. If anyone wants to, they can control my character for a bit; but I'll be putting Alec in sleep or something.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

I agree that we have to do something to keep the story alive. Been in too many roleplays myself that have simply died off.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

I think were having a serious problem Sages castle is almost done wile the Mayan city can't be done because of a severe lack of active characters so what are we going to do?

I suggest we call back the characters that are in the Mayan city calling it failure saying that the inactive characters died in the jungle but they still get there powers. It's a little weird but not totally.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Is waiting on Newkidontheblock to post

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Sorence, did you want us to go ahead and engage Charlie and the King or did you want to make a post for them first?

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Just post for him then. Take control of his character until he returns. You should PM him though before hand

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

I know, right?
By the way, does anyone know where LifeCharacter is? I've been waiting for him to post...:'(

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Hahaha. It's fine Wake.

I don't like the new system either. >_<

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Sorry for the lame post. I just finished writing 3 essays and my mind is now mush.

On another note. I'm not a big fan of the new posting system where they are in order, not from newest to oldest.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

FREEDOM FROM HOMEWORK! God, all weekend I've just been doing homework. I'll get to work now.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Speaking of possible god modding I might have to do something similar to catch the Mayan group up. Hope nobody minds.

Re: [OOC] Warriors of the Shards

Uhm, I'm sorry too. Art is really eating up my time. Sorry if my post seemed a bit like godmodding, but I was trying to get people moving to get the shard. I'm pretty sure Charlie will end up taking forever, so..
