Description

Shareth is a half-elf, the product of an elven father and a human mother. As such, he shares traits of both races both physically and mentally. His eyes are two toned, one green and one blue, an unusual trait that he isn't sure if he should be proud of or embarrassed by. His face is angular, with many sharp edges, though his smile and his warm eyes often soften it. His brownish-blonde hair is longish, extending just past his shoulder blades. He wears it in a simple no-frills style that is easy to maintain, and takes relative good care of it. He is slight of build, a trait he inherited from his Elven side, though he does have some muscle. He stands at roughly 5'6", and weighs about 165 pounds. He adorns himself in simple clothes, preferring human fashion for its functionality. Though right handed, he keeps a sword tied to his belt on his right side, for easy drawing with his left hand. He has a tattoo on that hand that looks to be a phrase written out in runic.

Personality

Born from two very different worlds, Shareth occasionally had a hard time fitting in. While proud of his mixed lineage, not all people share his enthusiasm for it. Still, he manages to get through life with a cheerful smile and a light heart. Though he carries a sword, it is mainly for practical purposes, rather than for combat. While he isn't against combat, he prefers to avoid it for the simple reason that dying sucks. He harbors an immense curiosity for the world, and wants to explore every nook and cranny. He feels that around every corner is an adventure waiting to happen, a new friend to make, or a new story to tell. One day, he'd like to go to the fabled halls of the northmen where he shall impart the many tales of his adventures to any and all who will listen.

Equipment

A magical sword, given to him by his father. He does not know what it does yet, having not had need of it so far.

A few personal trinkets, they really have no purpose, but that could change as the story goes on, if the gm wishes.
A necklace that provides illumination when Shareth utters a certain word in Elvin.

History

Shareth was born on a farmstead between Ellinsdale and the mountains where he has spent the majority of his sixteen years farming. The small community in the nearby town was a peaceful place to visit, where the only sort of trouble was the occasional drunken traveler. However, he was not meant for a simple rural life. He had already explored everything there was to explore in his small town and more often than not, gotten himself into places he shouldn't have. His mother knew that the human in him was eager to travel and make a name for himself so she persuaded his father to hire a few farmhands who would take over his chores so he could set out. While anxious to leave, he suddenly realized what leaving would mean. He spent a week debating over it, yet no one was surprised when he decided to head out. After a tearful goodbye, he left his small town and journeyed into his own story, traveling alongside Ayden and his companions.
