Personality

PERSONALITY

Personality Description
Raefel is by nature very quiet and unsocial, though she has a constant need to be either busy or entertained that often puts her in the thick of things.
When interacting, she tends to lapse into unpredictability. She can be cold and distant one minute, and quite friendly the next. Or at least attempting to be friendly, she seems to have no concept of boundaries, hidden meanings, or small talk.
When she is with those she trusts more, she slips out of the randomness into a more predictable persona, though certainly not normal. Entirely against societies rules, Raefel will be the one to do the taboo and throw caution into the wind.
Is she insane? That's up to the individual to decide.

Quirks
She refuses to sit down in the prescence of others. She will squat, lie down, stand, kneel, or anything else, but she will not sit unless she has to to avoid a fight or worse.

Fears
She has a debilitating phobia of anything in the medical field. It is for this reason she is almost purely human, all upgrades she has were forced on he She makes up for this by wearing an armored battlesuit at all times.

Goal
To stay free and undetected. The Guardian Act would ruin this.

Deconstruction, chaos, poetry, martial arts, breaking rules.

Dislikes
Rules, publicity, needles, overly logical people.

-Incredible fighting prowess.
-Very, very loyal to those she deems worthy.
-Quite smart

-Her inability to go with the flow.
-Her phobia.
-Her horrible people skills.

Abilities & Skill & Combat Rating

[Perfect] - [Excellent] - [Good] - [Above Average] - [Average] - [Below Average] - [Poor] - [Very Poor]

Clothing/Armor - Excellent
Raefel believes humanity makes one vulnerable, and makes up with it by wearing a complicated custom battlesuit she named "REX". The design based on an ancient medieval suit of armor, REX is built out of a combination of Omni-flex plating, PLaD mail, and a cyber-suit lining that combats the weight of the suit as well as has features such as Lattice Shunting, Microfiber weave, and Skeletal lattice.
As can be imagined, Rex was very expensive and due to this Raefel is rather poor.

Combat Prowess - Perfect
Ever since she was old enough to walk, Raefel has studied the art of fighting. She has clocked over nineteen years of training in hand-to-hand combat, as well as a good fourteen years of training with various weapons.

Abilities - Below Average
Beyond fighting, she has no other real abilities. She speaks only her birth language of American, and has no real profession. Her work ethic is non-existent, as is her ability to have people relate to her.

Skills - Good
She has learned how to hack your average lock, as well as modify and fix broken weaponry and armor.

Weapons - Good

Name: Black Hole
Type: Modified Knuckle Duster
Ammo: None
Information: The Black Hole is Raefel's favorite weapon, and its easy to see why. It looks like a normal Knuckle Duster, save a small switch on the side that controls the power level, giving Raefel the ability to punch with much more strength than normal without lethality.
Its several years old, and has been broken before, but due to Raefel's repairs it is in a good condition.

Name: White Hole
Type: Modified Knuckle Duster
Ammo: None
Information: Much simpler than its counterpart, the white hole is simply a Knuckle Duster with the power lowered to the point that her punches are only about as strong as your average, heavily modified human. This is still significantly stronger than herself.

Equipment
-REX
-Black Hole
-White Hole
-Cheap cellular/computing device

Accessories - Poor
She has a cheap device that can intercept transmissions and phone calls, as well as access the internet.
That is all.

Memorabilia
The Black Hole was originally her father's knuckle duster, thus it has a sentimental value to her.

Bio/History
From birth, Adena was immersed in the culture of the fight club. She was the only child of the boss of an underground fight club in Miami, Florida. Through her childhood, she watched the people fight by night, and by day she practiced her own skills with her father, a former fight champion himself.
When she was six, she was allowed to begin training with things beyond her fists. She learned to aim and fire all sorts of weapons, and wore deactivated Knuckle Dusters for hours a day to get used to the feel.
When she was fourteen, she fought in the club for the first time. Against a less experienced fighter, of course, and she won with ease. So she advanced in the ranks, and was ranking sixth in the club when it happened.
The fight was complicated, her opponent being a stocky man with dozens of weapons strapped to his body. She had already disarmed him of his Knuckle Duster and pistol, when he drew what looked like a tazer.
Careful to avoid the glowing end, she dove forward for a crushing punch to the gut. Her opponent, anticipating such, brought the weapon down hard. The fake tazer shattered, revealing the jagged dagger the sliced down the back of her neck and into her spine.
Her father stopped the fight before a killing blow could be struck, but refused to take her to the hospital. With a home medic kit she lived, with only a nasty scar to show for it. At her mother’s pleading, her father made a new rule: No more fight club.
Over the weeks that followed Adena became much more solitary, spending hours alone practicing her fighting. Fueled by embarrassment at failing and being pulled from the fights, she dove for all her weaknesses and worked for hours to remove them.
When she was seventeen, and could train no further on her own, she begged her father to continue teaching her. After a few weeks begging he relented, and she got to advance her skills further. Proud of his daughter’s dedication, Jeraim gave her his own knuckle duster, and bought himself a new one.
All good things must end, and when she was eighteen, they did. A riot formed over one of the fights, and Jeraim went down to settle it. A man was attempting to take over the club, killing all who tried to stop him. Adena’s father did try to calm him, and died in the process.
The madman claimed the entire building his, and locked Adena and her mother in a back room. Her mother cried for the hours that followed, while Adena sat and planned. By the time the man returned, Adena was ready, throwing a punch at him with the full force of her father’s knuckle duster and instantly killing him.
Adena tried to get her mother to come, but Elyie refused to move, and Adena left her behind. On the streets, she had to fight to survive, and unlike the safety of the club, here she gained notice. Government notice.
At nineteen she was taken to a Devoid facility against her will. There she was poked, injected, even sliced open, and over that time developed a phobia of all medical personnel. She was there a month, and got halfway through the emotional suppression process, when rebels attacked the building. In the confusion, her fighting skills earned her an escape.
She changed her name, mugged people for the money she needed, and got transportation to New York City. With only her father’s knuckle duster and the clothes she wore, she quickly began working her way towards getting better protection.
For her twentieth birthday, she gave herself a battlesuit named Rex, along with modified knuckle dusters, Black and White hole. Any fight club funds exhausted, she readily sunk back into the shadows, feeling relatively safe at last.
Its been six months since then, and the Guardian Act is threatening her anonymity. So she is going to fight it.
