Welcome to my shop....well actually I might saymy family's shop, I am currently taking care of it, making people's "Hopes, Dreams, and Love" come true, even though it comes with a price. It isn't my fault that some humans are majorly stupid, that they can't follow three simple rules....okay how hard is it to Feed, groom, and not show anyone your pet, come on that is the easiest thing ever, really no wonder primates are smarter...maybe I should sell the primates my beloved animals. heh, oh well, my name is Countess V, or simply V, don't askfor a whole name, because I will never tell sorry, and right now my pet shop is being watched closely by some anti-petshop of dreams cops, finally after having my turn running something on my own I have to deal with being a mouse, oh very joyful....Not.
Countess V stood up from her desk after hearing her animals go crazy, because ofthe up coming teatime, to themnow it was always tradition,and to her it was a means have something sweet "Okay you guys I'm coming just calm down" V said softly opening the office door and walked out, most of the animals that was always crowding her was her father's beloved birds "Come on you guys, teatime" She said walking to the emtrance of the store, her black kimono was flowing along the ground and different sounds of different animals filled the room, to humans, but to her they was speaking clearly in english and other native tongues. Countess told the animals to go sit out in the entrance while she grabbed some cake and tea, waiting on one of her helping hands, Jack Bundy. She didn't seem to scared of the name, she always believe that giving fear to a name was just as worst as giving fear to the holder of the name, but unlike his father he was very helpful around the shop, even though some of the animals loved to mess with him calling him a younger version of my father's old "Friend" Detective Leon, she just laughed about it, only meeting Leon once of twice, she couldn't put such a goofball like him with, Jack. Countess V walked out carying a try with a cake and tea in her hands gracefully, before placing it on atable infront of her person.

"Oh great I have to start another job where I hide my real last name to avoid that really awkward conversation with my boss about my dad." Jack said and pulled a small sheet of paper out with his fake last name on it, Jack Thompson. He took the slip and pasted it over his drivers license. "That should hold off for a little while." He muttered and looked around, he was in a dark alley outside of his next job's location. It was some sort of animal shelter.

"This might be fun." Jack said and walked in the store while scratching his dragon tattoo on his neck right on his neck and lower chin. "Hey um I am here! Is there anything I can do on my first day?" He called out wondering where she was. His boss was a lady named Countess V, that was all she put down on his application maybe she was afraid of her past to.

Countess V remembered looking at his application form that he changed his last name, and agreed to go along with it. She continued to drink some tea even when hecalled out for her, giving him a small hand signel letting him know where she was. Kyou walked over to her side, his silver fur shining in the dimlight, as he laid down on the floor his fox ears perked high above his head. V giggled softly, before putting the cup down "Hello Mr.Jack.....Thompson" She said trying to hold backa small giggle "Andno nothing rightnow, weare having teatime, so you can eat and blah blah blah....mostly most people come to us during this time, so yeah, after I am done I will take you on a grand tour of my--" Kyou growled softly at her "I mean mine and my family's grand shop.....and no I am not a real Countess, I am only one from my bloodlne way back to the start of china" She explained becoming hyper from the sugar already. Countess V stood up and walked behind a screen wall, that was used as a dressing room a very long time ago. Kyou rolled his eyes and stood up and walked to a small closet and took out a light pink kimono, that went above her knees. After she was done she walked out and giggled softly again looking at Jack, before walking to a random cage,and opening it up "Doyou have a fear of any kind of animal, I must know these things so I know what I have gotten myself into with you" She explained calmly

"No not really, but I have always been afraid of the idea of talking sharks it has just been creepy giving a powerful animal even more power." He said and looked at the sharks tooth that hung from his neck. "So you come from a line of Chinese? Well don't expect me to tell you about my past, if that's what your thinking." He said and put his backpack down on the floor and looked at the guy. "Let me guess Kitsune or Tanuki?" He asked and scratched the back of his head.

Rani got up and looked at Kyou ok so he's a kitsune and im a gryphon ha how funny? i thought to myself. i went out and wrote a note saying im going out be back in a few and left it on the counter.

Countess V looked at Rani and then back at the snake "Yes, Kyou is a Kitsune, an old kitsune that always seems to have a bad attitude, the gryphon that walked out is named Rani, she is better just don't make her mad, Mr......Jack" V said placing thesnake on the ground and walking back to the couch "would youlikea cup of tea....oh and your job here is mostly, handling contracts, doing house calls with me, and other little things" She said pushing her hair out of her face "Now please tell me how long do you plan on going by Thompson, Jack" She finished with a small smirk on her face, causing her eyes to light up slightly.

"We all have those little family problems, you obviously know my real last name Jack Bundy?" He said and poured himself a cup of tea but his field of vision never left the three. Why does this girl keep pushing? What does she have to gain from knowing about me and my father? I could have never guessed that I would be working for some lady that kept a zoo full of mythical creatures, but hey it might be fun as long as I keep my mouth shut about them Jack thought and took a sip of the tea.

"Yes my grandfather, knew about him he was here when you came to pick up an application, along with my father Count D"She explained not trying to push the subject anymore then she needed to, she could tell that he was staarting to get annoyed with her pushing, so she let it go and let out a soft giggle "I hope you have fun here...oh and theback of my shop, be careful, I have animals that are extreamly rare" She explained, before hearing a loud, slured voice coming in through the front door, the intoxacting smell of whiskey filled the room causing an unplesant smell mixed with the sweet incents that filled the room "V, I came here to buy another animal, for my Don" A man with greasy black hair,and green eyes said "But that I'm afraid it the 3rd animal you bought his daughter, most of the animals I have sold you seem to end up on the street, maybe you should buy her some roses or something, but no more pets right now" She explained, he glared at her for a moment, before turning to look at Jack "So you hired alittle helper, did daddy's little girl get premission" He continued in a taunting voice, before turning to leave "You better have a animal ready for me, when I come back tomorrow morning" He said in a threatening voice, slamming the door shut. The animals all started growling, but the one that was most heard was a loud growl in the very back of the store that traveled up front "He gets on my nerve" V said to herself taking another sip of tea and turned to Jack "Sorry about that, he is a regular"

"I feel bad for any animal that has to go through that man and his daughter, how bad can she be if she is leaving those poor creatures on the streets?" Jack mumbled and cracked his knuckles. "Little helper?" He muttered clearly angry and sighed, he had to keep this job. "So what is that guys deal why does he keep buying animals?" Jack asked while taking another sip of the tea.

"Oh daughter no he is just a slave how I put it at least that's how Iput it,he is a low leveled mafia member, and he is trying to impress his boss's daughter" V explained pushing her hair from her face "And she is horrible, I believe that if she became an animal she would be an ugly roach" She continued, adding more sugar to her tea, and eating a piece of triple chocolate cake "But every mafia gangs, drugdealers, most detectives and police, and wealthy people come here to buy Love, hopes, and dreams....that is as long as they follow then three-term contract I make sure they sign before handing a pet off to them"

"Let me guess don't talk about what you see, don't tell people about your 'special' animal, and don't sell your pet after it is given to you?" Jack wondered out loud. "You really do like sweets don't you? It's because whenever I look back at you, your stuffing your face with some sort of sweet treat." Jack said with a playful smirk and reached in his pocket to pull out a bag with a peach in it. "You should eat this it's better for you." He said and held out the fruit to her.

"Yes I do like to eat sweets, hence how most of my clients get me to order them 'unique' animals such as Rani....even though I like having most of my animals around they leave and when they are done with their job and they want to come back, or if the contract is broken they come back to me.....most of the time the contract is broken"She said witha small giggle, before looking at the fruit in his hand, and then back at him "you know I do eat other things other then sweets, its just I am barely ever scene eating anything else, since it runs in the family" She stated bluntly as a bat/rabbit thing flew over to her "Isn't that right, Q-chan" She added, cauing the creature to let out a high pitch screech.

"Awesome I want to hug it!" Jack said like a child in a pet store. "Oh god it is half bat I thought it was just a flying rabbit, but it is still cute." He said quietly and pet the rabbit bat thing on the head. "So where do you get these things, it must be hard seeing how there must be a high price to find one of these on the black market." He said and looked at the back not wanting to go back there just in case he could lose his job. That was the only thing he didn't want at this point.

"Well I have my ways, also having a family name that has been going on for generations....actually ever since the first count and countess in japan, but yeah my connections help me get most of the rarest animals and still be able to sell them and on some occasions breed them....even though I charge more if the animal is a very rare and hard to obtain, and even then it is mostly determined by how hard I think it will be, and shipping itt here" She explained standing up and walked over to the huge doors that led to the back "You coming right, to see some animals in the back?" she finished.

Jack looked at the girl, how did her family have such powerful connections? Where they enough to find these extremely rare animals and ship them out? That is like her own personal black market. "Really? I am allowed back there? Cool!" Jack said and walked back with her. Once he made it to her he let out a small smile and waited for her to say something.

The back room was filled with low growls from behind doors that was all huge "Be careful which ones you try to go in, most likelythey won't take a good shine to you like the one I'm about to show you, Wise Raven" She said softly, stopping in front of a huge black and gold door "Do you still have that peach with you?" Countess V asked as a softly melody came from inside the room

"Yeah, why?" He asked and pulled out the peach in the little plastic bag. "I have a bunch of peaches in my backpack, there pretty much the only things I eat." He said and looked back out at the bag which was being played with by the little half bat half rabbit thing. "Are they allowed to eat peaches, I don't want to have a dog with chocolate story going on." He said with a little laugh.

"Yes give, Q-chana peach, you need one to offer to Wise Raven, mostly she is the less deadliest, when given offerings" Countess V stated bluntly before opening the door. The inside of the room was huge, and dimly lit "Watch your step" V said as she walked ahead and dodged the thick trees that filled the room "Wise Raven I havea new friend, please come out and be pollite"

"Oh ok." He said and let the bat thing have a peach. "So why does this Wise Raven want a peach?" Jack asked and watched her open the door to see a dimly lit room. "Wow, it looks so much small from the outside." He asked and looked around for this Wise Raven. "How did you get this forest in here? And how does it grow?" He asked.

"Lets just say a lot of work" V said softly to him "And she just likes something in returnfor steppinginto her territory,unless you want to give her your eyes" She continued stopping in front of a table that sat an elderly woman dressed ina black kimono, in the center of the table sat many items that she had collected from people that came in "Hello dear Countess, a new co-worker I smell am I right?if so then let him know that the last 5 co-workers before him all got killed in this very room because they didn't offer me something" Wise Raven said with a small chuckle, she turned tolook at the boy with her whitish blue eyes "Hello, Jack Bundy, do you have a offering for me" the woman asked. Countess V stepped out of Jack's way letting him go up to her.

"I brought you this peach I guess." He said and held the fruit out to the Wise Raven. "I was expecting some giant black bird not a girl dressed in a black kimono." Jack said with a little chuckle and rubbed the back of his head. "So you know my last name? Have you been giving all of your talking animals my application?" Jack said with a little laugh and looked back at Countess V.

"Yes this will do for me, and no your father andI use to be good friends before he was executed, after he died I passed my soul on to a raven, trust me without the smell of cherry bloosoms around I would be a very giant black bird" She added,as V poured herself aglass of tea "Would you both want some tea?" She asked calmly

"You knew Ted Bundy and you didn't try to stop what he did to those women?" Jack said and clenched his fist but remembered that he was counting on this job to pay the rent. "Oh I am sure there was nothing you could have done." He said and released the fist to see that his nails dug so far into his skin that it caused them to start to bleed. His pupils became small and he screamed," Blood! Ew it's on my hand!" He said and wiped shook the cuts till they clotted.

Countess V gave him a small look at the scene he just caused, she made sure to make a mental note of that "okay that wasn't the strangest thing I have seen" she said softly before looking at the raven.Raven looked at her and then the boy "By the time I found out and realized about it,it had been to late, he had actually tried to get to me but after he tried that a second time Ileft him, only visiting him sometimes" Raven explain biting into the peach.

"I just have a thing with getting blood on my skin, it was just a thing that I got from my mom." He muttered and licked his wounds like a dog. "I am sorry for making a scene Countess, and you were attacked by my dad? And you survived! Wow you must be something else to beat my dad without killing him." He said while turning to the Wise Raven.
