Just one of those days.

Every Fucking Morning. That dog. I hear it. It barks, and barks, and barks. But no one seems to want to shut it up. I guess its not too bad, it is almost like its an alarm but its not. Its all the same.
Ken gets out of bed and heads into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Frozen Waffles with Peanut butter and a Banana. Not the best but I get by. Well next class the students turn in their term papers, I can say goodbye to my boredom at least.
He heads to the bathroom to shower and take his medication.
I think Ill wear the blue suit today. Im feeling kinda spiffy.
Ken heads departs for his morning class early to attend to students that need extra help, Upon arriving at his classroom no one is to be found as of yet. This is really strange as Ken teaches a general requirement course.
This is odd. Generally I at least have one or two of these worms that needs my help. Serves them right if they fail, this class is a fucking joke just like this job. I make a breakthrough in psychology and I get treated like this, put in a damn government job of all places.
Time for class rolls around and no one has entered yet. Ken walks outside and realizes that no students are really in his wing.
I hate these children. Planning ditch days, what do they think this is high school... Well I guess I will take the day off then.
Ken exits his building and heads outside of the campus, A single student is rushing towards the school in a frenzied state not watching her steps. She crashes into Ken and knocks him over while spilling the contents of her bag everywhere.
" HEY WATCH WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE GOING!" Ken yells at the young woman.
"I am so sorry Professor Hashimoto, I was afraid I was going to be late to class" The woman states in a panic.
"Wait, You're here for my class?" He responds.
"Yes of course, you do not recognize me?" She hastily retorts.
"No your face did not ring a bell, I apologize. Apparently it is class ditch day, but I will make sure you get some extra points for actually caring about your education miss. We can speak about it next class when I lecture students on ditching class. Especially my class. " Ken says in a caring tone, even though he does not really care.
She looks at him seeming almost intimidated and responds "Yes sir! Ill see you next class"
Ken heads to his car and begins to drive home.
This is odd. A student who actually cares, and an entire class bails on me. Oh well, fucking government is still paying me regardless.

{OOC: I hope this is alright :) This is my first play by post and its all so new to me. I wanted to give some background and maybe show some character attitude. Im not sure how to format everything thus far so things may change. I look forward to interacting with other people!}

Most kids would be in school right now. But not Matthew Alkran. Matthew Alkran was busy hacking into a bank, to get some funds for them. You know, just enough money to pay the bills, buy food, purchase semi expensive things. He looked back over at his brother, still asleep in his bed. "Good, just sleep tight Maxy".

Technically, his brother's name was Maxwell, but Matthew always called him Maxy. He turned back to the laptop, and finished taking the money from the bank and into their own accounts through a variety of switches, seperations, rejoinings, and moved through some off shore accounts, before finally appearing untracable in their own accounts.

He had to be the parent, since he was the oldest. Their dad ditched them shortly after Max was born, and their mom had died last year to breast cancer. Having no family, they would have gone into the foster system, and Matthew did not want to risk being seperated from Maxy. So, he may have hacked the database, and "added" some family in California. Of course, they never even left New York. No, there they were, sitting in a penthouse, Matthew getting them money by hacking into Government databases and through his mother's life insurance payouts.

Matthew then hacked into a college, and made the fire alarms go off, just for the fun of it. And if anyone tried to trace him, they would find the source to, ironically, be in California. That is when he heard someone waking up. He went over to his brother. "Hey Maxy, you doing okay? I bet your hungry, right? I will get us some breakfast made". Maxy sleepily nodded from his bed.

And with that, Matthew started making scrambled eggs and bacon. And toast.

It was darkness, all around in the toasty room full of medical supplies and machines, the whole chamber seemed more like a hospital than young woman's living space. With books half open scattered across the cold wooden floor among pencils and crumbled up white paper with "failed" drawings. Smells of the cold air flushed in forbiddingly, as Alyona traced her finger tips on the window seal feeling the fresh outside world touch her.
Though as freedom was tasted it was soon ripped out of grips with a familiar pair of footsteps approaching. Alyona hurried her way around the cluttered room and gently swept herself under the self-made quilt on her bed and laid their motionless. Breathing heavily she tried to hide this fact, not wanting anyone to know she was out of bed, which only led to her cough uncontrollably.
"Alyona! Alyona!" The door swung open with a frail, fragile, six foot, woman frantically rushing into the bedroom with a worried tone.
"I-fine-mother." Alyona breathed in and out trying her hardest not to reveal anything. But just like a child, Alyona had forgotten something truly important.
"Alyona the window is opened!" The mother looked betrayed and hurt, but once those emotions passed quickly they turned more angry. "Alyona do you not care for your well being?! Do you wish to die! Because you are acting like you do not care for yourself!" As Mrs. Ominin spoke, Alyona started to move her mouth the way her mother did, in a mocking way. Having heard it all before it became second nature.
"I am sorry. I just wanted to feel the fresh air." Alyona looked with true sympathy.
"When you get better you will be able to go outside again."
"You have been saying that since last Tuesday. I am ready now."
"Alyone you need to stay in bed, and stay away from window." The woman walked to the window and closed it, and locking it. "Please, I don't want you to get sick again." As she turned away from the window the moon struck her face. Aging had been taken the toll on, Klara Ominin, the once bright orange hair had begun fading into blond, and the flawless skin became cracking with worry lines around the mouth and eyes.
"I'll stay in bed."
"Goodnight Aly." Klara walked to her daughter and kissed her goodnight, before leaving the room.
Alyona picked up her sketchpad and drew another picture of a bird flying out of a cage, it was carefully drawn and truly a piece of work, until she crumbled it up and let out a pitiful sigh. She knew that the whole world was never going to been seen through her own eyes, and that she was a bird who could never be able to fly out of her small world cage.

As Matthew was finishing breakfast, a groggy Maxy came out and sat on the kitchen counter, still clad in pajama pants and a red t shirt. "Mattie, I need to ask you something. What happens if dad comes back?"

Matthew paused at this question. It was tough enough dealing with mom's death for Max, but their dad...even he didn't have answers. He was two when dad left, Max had been born only a week ago. "I don't know if he ever will come back Maxy".

He served them both breakfast, and they ate it. Matthew had surveyed the fridge, and they needed more groceries. "C'mon Maxy, we need to get more groceries. Then you need to do the work I assigned".

Matt and Max got dressed, and Matt took a credit card. The left the apartment, went down the elevator, and walked to the nearest grocery store. Matt started picking out some of the essentials, like milk, eggs, pasta, and fruit, while Max handled the snacks. As they went to the counter, they were stopped by a police officer. "Shouldn't you two kids be in school? Why are you here buying groceries?"

Matthew looked back at Maxy, then up at the officer. "We are home schooled. Technically self schooled, in a way. Our dad left us and our mom works all day, so we have to buy the groceries and stuff like that. She made this specialized education program for us. My brother here just started algebra last month, and I am on trigonometry. She says that these specialized programs make us learn better then others. Also, it's very flexible. In essence, we just have to do the required work left for us for the day by the end of the day, at any time we choose. She says that we are extremely advanced for our age".

The cop chuckled. "I'll say. My 17 year old daughter just started trig this year. You must be exceptionally smart, and your mom sounds like she is exceptionally smart too. Can you put her on the phone so I can tell her that?"

Matthew smiled. "No, we can only call her during work if it is an emergency. But what you really want is proof..." He took a bunch of papers out of his backpack. It was some of the work he gave Maxy to do. Matthew had not lied to him completely, most of what he said was actually true. And that work was proof, because Maxy really was on algebra. And there really was a specialized program. Only, he had made it, not their mom. He then looked to the store cleric. "He has seen our work before as well. He can vouch for me".

The store cleric confirmed it, as he had also asked about this the second time they came in alone. The cop seemed skeptic, but let it go. Matthew and Maxy paid for the food, and made their way back home. As they did, Max stopped Matthew. "It's there again".

Matthew looked into a window, and he could see the symbol. Two triangles, connected at a point, a mirror image. It was in his eye, rotating. The rotating thing was new, though. "C'mon, let's just get home" he told Maxy, continuing forward. "You need a bath anyways".

"Only if you take one too!"

Matthew grumbled. "Fine, we both will. But only if you don't be stubborn about it".

Well that was a lot easier then normal.

A small childs hand gently poked the face of a very fair sleeping woman with hair that matched the little girls. The eyes of the woman slowly opened to come face to face with the grinning six year old. A giggle escaped the little girl's lips as her hands began moving frantically. Good morning mommy, are we doing school today? What's for breakfast? Are we going to the daycare today? The questions were asked like any other questions a six year old would ask, the only difference was she used her hands instead of her voice. In fact the small girl couldn't speak due to her hearing failing her when she was born. Yes she could make sounds, but she couldn't form those sounds into anything other than that, just sounds. It saddened the woman that her child would never hear the wonderful sounds of the world, but there was nothing to change that so the two lived with it.

After the stream of questions stopped, the woman who was called Abiageal laughed and sat up. She kissed her daughter, who she names Brielle, on the forehead before answering the child. Yes we'll do school today, no we don't have to go to the daycare today, and what do you want for breakfast? She answered the little girl and the waited for her response as she began to put her hearing aids in. She wasn't deaf like her daughter, but she was hard of hearing and had to wear hearing aids in order to hear things. She hadn't always been like that, in fact she didn't start losing her hearing until she was 15. Because of this she could speak perfectly clear and the only thing that would hint to her being hard of hearing would be her hearing aids.

It took the little girl some thought to answer her mother, but after a few seconds she finally did. Ice cream! She signed enthusiastically to her mother with a huge smile on her face. This caused a laugh to escape from her mother as she shook her head.

How about chocolate chip pancakes instead? About asked the girl and she got a not so enthusiastic yes in reply. So her and her daughter made there way to the kitchen.

After awhile she was done cooking and both of the girls sat at the table in their small dining room eating the good. They lived in a very small two bedroom apartment, that was all Abi could afford. Brielle's father was no longer in the picture, he hadn't been since he found out that he got Abi pregnant when they were 16. So they were living off her income alone. They had very difficult times, but they got through it.

They finished breakfast and an alarm on Abi's phone began going off. She signed as she knew what the alarm was for. She got up while turning her alarm off and walked over to her purse. She dug around for a moment before pulling out a small pill bottle. Inside this bottle were her antidepressants which she reluctantly took one. She hated taking them, but she hated even more how she was when she didn't take them.

Once she was done she turned back around to look at her daughter Are you ready to start school? She signed to her and got a yes in reply. She homeschooled Brielle because it was too difficult for her to send her to school and have an interpreter translate everything. She didn't get the attention she needed when Abi had sent her to school in kindergarten so she took matters into her own hands. She was just thankful she worked at a job that allowed her to take Brielle to work with her. It made life that much easier for both of them.

Thaddeus woke to an annoying vibration and ring combination that was coming from his phone. He groped groggily under his pillow for the slim device, swiping the screen to dismiss the alarm. He lay there for a couple more moments, torn between the dream and reality, before finally giving in and sitting upright. Stretching, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and rolled out of the comfortable bed. He padded across the spacious bedroom, topless and sporting a pair of pajama bottoms, and stepped into the bathroom. This room was also quite large, able to fit both a spa bath and a large shower with plenty of room to move around. Thaddeus quickly took a shower, which managed to wake him up sufficiently for him to be functional, brushed his teeth, and shaved. Fully awake now, he went to the sizable kitchen, preparing a simple breakfast of eggs and toast for himself. Having eaten, he strode into his closet and chose a suit. Today's was a dark navy blue pinstriped three-piece, pure wool, custom tailored.

If there had been someone watching Thaddeus perform this daily morning routine, they would have found it ordinary, and yet at the same time slightly off. Without knowing why, they would instinctively sense that something was not exactly normal with this routine, and they would have been right. In fact, this whole routine had been conducted like clockwork; it didn't contain any emotion, any sign that the actor had any feelings. The same result could have been reproduced if the actor was replaced with a robot, calculating and exact in its movements.

Now looking presentable, he walked to the door of his large penthouse condo, grabbing his briefcase on the way. He checked his appearance in a large mirror by the entrance, performing a final check before heading off to work.

He arrived at the bottom of a large building half an hour later. This was the offices of MedLife, a not-for-profit organization of which he was vice-executive director. Despite being small, MedLife was an organization dedicated to providing proper medical treatment and medication to people in third-world countries. However, it is surprisingly powerful, having close ties with numerous governments, even receiving funding from the UN, and is quickly growing.

Thaddeus entered the building, heading straight to his office. On the way, his assistant found him, mumbling something about conflicts, Syria, and poison gas, and handed him a sheaf of papers. Thaddeus promised her that he would look into it, and the assistant hurried away. Finally reaching his office, he shut the door behind him and looked around. Two large floor-to-ceiling glass panels formed a windowed corner, overlooking the rest of the city. Directly in front of this was his desk, facing the door, with a small sitting area to the left. Bookshelves lined the walls.

Putting his briefcase down, Thaddeus took a seat at his desk, and glanced at the pile of papers on his desk, as well as the new bundle just given to him. He sighed, picked up the top-most pack, and started reading.

People gobble down different pharmacist drugs, which also include vitamins, cold medicines, anti-depressant, and vaccines. A mere handful of pharisaical drugs were chosen at random, to try an experiment , which was suppose to be an enhancement of brain activity, turned to mutation of chemicals. After files were lost to incumbent scientist it was decided to be hushed behind, not wanting a wide spread war or panic to outbreak.
Each day that passed seems to take different tolls on the average person. Because of the different drugs and flotation of climates and life styles with stress the effect takes different times, ranging from years, to merely months.
The only consent, was a high fever that lowered to deadly temperatures in less than forty-eight hours. That not being the only experiences the person will have, ranging for migraines, anal and internal bleeding, vomiting, and other extreme side effects. This being a fact, not everyone survive the when the changes begin.
Though those that do get out of the painful transformation, senses increase becoming fully aware of changes. Not being able to pin point what has fully happened, but have an understanding that their body has been enhanced in the various different ways.
Now it is all up to them how they come to know their limitations and exactly how they choose to use them.

OOC: You can choose to write another post before the changes happen(to help with the character development , I'd like those who haven't written at least two post to write another one before catching the fever.) but everyone MUST write a whole post about the pain their character was in and explain what they went through. Including what they were doing when the fever first hit them to how it affected their life.

(Well, I am writing this post at around 1 AM with a pounding headache. Wish me luck!)

As Matthew and Maxy got home, there was a package at the door. As they entered the appartment, he discovered it was a bottle of pain medication. "Strange, I don't remember hacking into the UPS to get us some more pain medication. Well, guess it wouldn't hurt..."

Matthew always had this slight pain feeling when he saw that symbol in his eye, and it was giving Maxy a headache too now. "Here you go" he told Maxy, before adding. "And don't think I forgot. Bath, now!"

"Fine, but you have to join me!"

The only reason Matthew was okay with this was that normally, he had to fight to get his brother to take a bath. Matthew could just go in and give him once himself, but he preferred not to do that. So Matthew went in, took off his clothes, and joined him, happy this wasn't taking an hour long conversation.

What happened next was strange though. One moment, they are both in the tub. The next, he and Maxy were waking up outside of the tub, on the floor of their apartment. The ground beneath them was dry, and they were still naked. Matthew went back to look in the bathroom, and surveyed it. It appeared they had stumbled out of the path, the ear thermometer is off its handle and on the floor. When Matthew checked its log, it registered two high temperatures 49 hours ago. It appeared they somehow for some reason passed out on the way to their beds. Matthew decided to check each of their temperature's again, and everything was back in the normal.

Apparently, they had passed out for two whole days though. "Maxy, Maxy? You there? You awake?"

He heard a slight mumble, so Matthew asked him to speak up. "Why are we completely naked in the living room?"

"It looks like we passed out for two or so days, Maxy. Not sure how, but apparently we were sick. We seem to be fine though". Matthew told him, helping Maxy up off the carpeted they had been laying on. "We don't have a tempature anymore. Oh wow, whatever it was, you look...AHHH".

Matthew's eye started to burn. He made his way back into the bathroom and looked in a mirror. It was that symbol, that same symbol, rotating in Matthew's eye. Only it was burning brither then ever before. And as it began to glow even brighter, the symbol. As this happened, various toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other small light objects. And then, Matthew collapsed again, as well as Maxy. But Maxy for a different reason.

Abi had Brielle started on writing her alphabet as she went around cleaning the house. It was very difficult teaching the little girl how to read since there was no way to communicate to her the sounds. Sounds made no sense and so the alphabet made no sense, but she had to learn in order for her to make it through life. She knew people we're never very understanding of the deaf community and most of the time people didn't understand why most deaf people couldn't read or write. What they didn't understand is that reading is practically a COMPLETELY different language to them. Abi was doing her best, though, and it seemed to be working out well.

If Abi had taken the scholarships she had gotten after graduating she figured she probably would have gone to school for interpreting languages. Sure she could have become a doctor or even possibly a rocket scientist, but none of that interested her. What interested her the most was languages, cultures, and peoples behavior and she liked making people feel good. So she figured if she had become an interpreter then she could help make people feel like they we're important and wanted.

She was lost in her thoughts while cleaning when she heard banging coming from the table. She looked over to see that her daughter was trying to tell her that she was done with he's alphabet. This made Abiageal laugh a little as she made her way over to her daughter to check her work. The little girl did a good job despite her e and s were backwards. She praised Brielle and then showed her what she had done wrong. The little girl got this frustrated look on her face clearly not understanding the difference between her letters and the letters her mom had just drawn. Abi sighed as she gave up for the day and moved on to the next subject.

Thaddeus squeezed his eyes shut, stretching and shifting in his chair. It was late afternoon, and he had managed to work through most of the large stack of papers. He took another sip of the coffee his secretary had brought him earlier and grimaced. It was cold, and left a strange aftertaste in his mouth. He'd have to ask her what she put in it.

He stood and picked up his briefcase, ready to go home after a day's work. He reminded himself that he needed to pick up some milk and eggs; he was all out. As he was entering the elevator, he bumped into a small woman, causing her to fall and sending the stack of papers in her arms flying everywhere. As she scrambled to retrieve the documents, Thaddeus reflexively bent down and began to help her, feeling irritated at having to miss the elevator.

This woman ran into me. Could she not see that I was busy? She had better apologize, and thank me for helping her.

He handed the papers to her, offering her a smile. As the office lady stuttered out a thanks, Thaddeus grew even more annoyed at the woman, but continued to hide it behind his smile. After helping her up, he waved away her apologies and wished her a nice weekend, all the while wishing misfortunes upon her.

Thaddeus unlocked the door of his apartment, shutting it behind him. After putting the groceries away, he changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt, and planted himself in front of the television. As he sat there watching some documentary on sharks, he suddenly felt nauseous. Hurrying to the bathroom, he barely made it before emptying the contents of his stomach, which was thankfully mostly devoid of food. As he dry-heaved, he felt a major headache setting in, along with a burning fever.

W-What's happening? Am I...... Going to die?

Suddenly panicked, Thaddeus fumbled for his phone, only to find it nowhere in sight.

Shoot! It must be in my jacket pocket...

He stood up, only to collapse from a bout of dizziness.

I.... Have to......

Overwhelmed by the raging fever, his thoughts grew more and more disoriented, until he succumbed to the inky darkness of unconsciousness.

Aly laid in bed drawing another picture of a robin flying into the caged door. A light sigh slipped pasted her lips ticking them softly. The whole room smelled of disinfected and warm air. The tv was on mute but continued relapsing on the movie menu. Aly hummed the intro song that she had listened to all day.
Boredom was a constant feeling, causing her to become annoyed and fidgeting. It wasn't fair, Aylona felt like an bird, needed freedom and to travel everywhere, but because of her body, she was stuck in a glass world, only to leave a few times of a year, feeling caged.
"I cannot keep waiting to get better. I'd rather live and die then wait and see. " She closed her eyes knowing she sounded selfish. But it was a need she had felt.
Hours past and the picture was finished, the movie had started playing and was close to the end. The pencils were on the ground with a lot of other papers. Snow dripped down the windows, showing the bright snow shine into her bedroom, causing it to cool down a small bit.
Aylona moved the machines out of her way and stood up, her legs felt weak and she tripped, catching herself on the end of her bed. "Damn it." Her hand started to slip while she was pushing herself up to stand, only to make her fall flat on her face, ripping out all needles inside her arms.
Machines alert went off, loudly. Footsteps stomped down the hall way, and rushed into the room alarmed. "Aly!" Screams were all around the room.
"I-fine."Aly breathed out slowly.
"What were you thinking!?"
It was another long lecture as she was helped up, and got the needles back in the right place.
Guilt shadowed over her, leaving a horrible taste in her mouth.
One day, I'll be free. One day, I'll never need anyone to help.

Abiageal sat at the kitchen table with Brielle helping her with school. They were working on math which Brielle was actually very good at and actually liked. As they we're finishing up the page she was working on, Abi felt a headache coming on and she winced in pain a little. She took a deep breath and let it out as she opened her eyes and looked at Brielle's paper. She went to go correct her on something, but as she did so the pain in her head intensified. She gasped in pain and held her head for a second before signing to Brielle that they were done for the day and that she could go play with her toys. The little girl happily got up and skipped off to her room and Abi continued to sit there, not sure if she could even walk since the headache was causing her to be dizzy.

Finally after a few minutes of holding her head in pain, Abi got the courage to get up and make her way over to her medicine cabinet. She stumbled the entire way there and had to keep holding on to stuff to keep herself up. Once she got there ah grabbed some pain killers and popped a couple in her mouth. She grabbed a glass of water and took a drink. That's when her head began to pound worse and she dropped her glass and it shattered on the floor. It took everything in her to keep from screaming.

Brielle hear the commotion and came out to see what was going on. When she laid eyes on her mom she welled up with fear. Abi saw her daughters face and tried to calm her, but that was short lived as she felt her stomach churn and she bent over the trash can, vomiting in it. Brielle began screaming and crying out of fear. She grabbed onto her mom, still crying but trying to help in some way.

After minutes Abi stood back up and grabbed her phone. She decided to call her sister who lived near by to see if she could at learn take Brielle as she went to the doctor. The phone rang a couple of times and then her sister answered. "Riley can you come over, I'm sick and need someone to watch Brielle as I go to the doctor." She quickly spoke to her sister and her sister said she'd be over in a minute. As Abi hung up the phone she began to have chills. So she went and grabbed a blanket and wrapped herself in it. She was walking back to the couch when things began to get blurry. Her vision began to fade in and out and then everything went black. Brielle began screaming again as she watched her mom drop to the ground. She ran over to Abi and began shaking her while screaming at her.

About ten minutes later Abi's sister, Riley approached the door to her sisters place. She went to knock when she heard Brielle still screaming and crying. So she quickly opened the door to find her sister on the ground and Brielle next to her. What happened? She signed to Brielle frantically as she touched her sister forehead. She was burning up and so Riley grabbed her phone and dialed 911.

Mommy began throwing up and then she collapsed. What's wrong with her? Is she gonna die? Brielle replied, tears streaming down her face. Riley reassured Brielle that her mom was going to be fine and was glad that the child couldn't hear what she was saying to the 911 operator on the phone.

In about fifteen minutes an ambulance arrived and Riley role Brielle into the other room while they did what they needed to. In the end they ended up rushing Abi to the hospital and Riley and Brielle followed in Riley's car. Riley was worried about all that was going to happen to her sister.

Matthew woke up to his brother poking him in the face. "Seriously...what the...heck...happened?"

This was twice now that he and Maxy passed out, and as much as he hated the idea, he needed to get an actual doctor, which he wanted to avoid. Doctors require parents, of which they had none. With their mom dead and dad missing, what was he supposed to do? He wasn't letting them get taken by social services, that was for sure.

That is when he thought of something. Hospitals have a walk in clinic. "No wait, that would still raise questions. Unless..."

Matthew hatched a plan. He and Maxy got dressed, and then he got two backpacks. One for him, one for Maxy. He got a notebook, and they made their way to the hospital. Hopefully this worked, otherwise things were going to get unpleasant. They went to the clinic, and waited for a doctor to arrive, when he did, the question Matthew anticipated came. "Where is your parents?"

"Dad is dead, mom is working, and I need to get Kyle started on his schoolwork". Matthew used a fake name for Maxy, just in case. "Kyle passed out, and I want to make sure he is okay. I have to take care of him, because mom has to work a lot. Now, can we please hurry?"

The doctor sighed, and went on to examine Maxy. Just as Matthew had been counting on, the doctor would do a thorough job, but he actually wanted to not be there. "Have you taken any medication recently?"

Matthew showed him the bottle, and he seemed to take interest. "Well, I would like to do one quick thing, if you don't mind. Seeing as you seem to be the one taking care of Kyle, anyways".

The doctor took them to an MRI room. He made Maxy take strip down to his underwear (it was only for a quick look at his brain and he couldn't risk anything metal near the machine), and he used the machine to examine his brain. He mentioned some increased brain activity, but nothing alarming. He then asked Matthew to do the same, just to be safe. Matthew stripped down while Maxy got dressed, and went into the machine as well.

When he got out, he got dressed again as well. "Nothing I can see. It was probably just exhaustion. I would take it easy on the workload. Oh, do you have an address to send the results to? It's policy".

Matthew gave him a PO box he used, and left with Maxy. As he left, something caused him to trip and any object that weighed under ten pounds raised into the air then dropped down. He began to hurry to leave, passing another woman on their way in. He didn't want to risk him calling someone, and them being discovered to still be in New York City.

Aylona woke in her bed once again, but this time she stood up and pulled out the needle and plugs. That is when she began running, running as fast her weak legs could move deep into the woods near her house. As she found her way into the cold air, she realized that she had no thought process. It was all impulse and even trying to think back to why she was awaken she drew a blank. As the clouds moved past the sun Aylona started to feel her body warm, and looked down at her hands.
She was on fire, and it burned her alive. Her fingers began to turn to ash and the pain was taking a toll on her ability to scream. As the rest of her arms fill into a pile of ashes she knew that it was finally time to say goodbye and go to the afterlife where freedom lied. Aly closed her eyes and felt the body over heat and fall apart.
Soon there was nothing left of her but a pile of dusk. Then out of the dirt she rose naked, with a pair of fire wings, she flew high into the sky.
"I am free!" She screamed above the clouds and watching down at her town.
"Aylona baby, please keep fighting." It was her mother's voice calling into the sky, but it made no sense to Aly. Why would her mother call such a thing, she had no reason to fight, she was free.
Her body was pale and flawless, her pink nipples were erect from the frozen air, and goose bumps swarmed her body.
"Mother, what do you mean?" Aylona spoke, but she was no longer speaking Russian it was English.
As the different langue changed so did the flaming wings. They became heavy and Aylona started to crash toward the ground.
Aylona was in the snow covered in a thick ice bubble. Her blue eyes shinned brighter in the snow as her orange hair fell in front of her face. Aly was freezing making it hard to breath, she gasped for air but it seemed pointless.

Mrs. Ominin sat beside her daughter as Aly twisted and gasped, the machines beeped and screeched. Tears poured out of the woman's eyes, watching the doctor work.
"She will be fine, wont she Doctor Roberts?" Robert was an old Englishman famous for his teaches on Severe combined immunodeficiency. His hair was grey and thinning with patches loose. Wrinkles covered around her eyes and forehead.
"These readings are unheard of Ominin. Her temperature has been raising up into the teens, how she is managing is beyond belief." His voice and eyes showed the skepticism.
"Aylona baby, keep fighting!" She screamed by the bedside.
Inna cried, holding her only child's hand, begging to the Lord that she would live through this episode.
"Please oh mighty Lord, give my baby strength." Was repeated other the course of six hours. Inna's husband Dima had left for work while Aylona's fever was just by three degrees not knowing what was in store for his child.
Dima came home after working eight hours to hear his wife crying in their daughter's room, fear over came him and he found himself running through the house and stopped at the door, seeing Inna laying on the bed next to Aly.
"Is she?" He couldn't bare the idea losing his little girl.
"She just keeps burning up. Roberts said there was nothing left to do an hour ago and left. Oh Dima what are we going to do." Her blue eyes were red from the intense crying.
He walked to his wife and kissed her softly on the forehead and touched Aly's face with the back of his head.
"She's a fighter."

After the fever episode had passed and her temperature started down, but it did not stop dropping. Again the doctor showed and knew nothing that could explain the increase dropping and stated that they must wait and see what happens.

Re: What would you do?

Everyone is in different parts of the world in the roleplay, so we really don't need to wait for anyone. keep writing with your character, if people ditched out, we will have NP, and other things.

Re: What would you do?

I cannot send messages yet, so I am writing on here. Those who have sent questions, please stand by while I write on different OOC posts. Thank you for understanding the technical difficulty and for the patience. :)

Re: What would you do?

I am sorry about how far behind I am. I am working on a character, but you all that have been accepted feel free to write.
The world is before anyone has their abilities, you will get your supernatural capability later on. I will write a post explaining the world when the moment happens.
Please understand that it will not take the whole roleplay to get your special talents. But I want at least everyone to post twice before it changes.
Also DO NOT use the word "superpowers".
Thank you for your time.

Re: What would you do?

Im curious as to when the first posting will be, and on what section like the posting area on the real board?
