Reason for applying to program: Mollie is a huge history fan and always had been. She loves learning and discovering new things about the past. So when she found out about this program there was no way she wasn’t going to apply. It has always been her dream to go off and work on a dig somewhere and now finally that chance has come true.

Also Mollie has been following the career of Dr. Malcolm Cael ever since he got back from Peru. She has read every single article which has been written by him and about him. He is exactly what she wants to be... a successful historian who gets out there and see’s history first hand being brought back to life. This small crush is also another reason that Mollie applied.


History

Mollie moved to America when she was ten because of her parents. Her father worked for a company that was starting to branch offshore and he was to head up the project on the Californian coast. As a result, herself and her mother were dragged along with him and she had to set about starting a brand new life.

She was a quiet girl, not saying a lot but smart. Mollie had a small group of friends and certainly wasn’t the most popular girl in school. Yet she wasn’t an outcast either, just being a normal girl who went through normal things. One thing she developed a love for at a young age was history. She loved hearing stories about the past and would read anything she could get her hands on that was about history. Her friends thought she was weird for loving it so much but Mollie didn’t care.

Still with an Australian accent, Mollie finished school and managed to make it into University where she is studying as many history courses as she can get her hands on. This was where her love and obsession with Malcolm Cael started. It wasn’t so much him, but more everything he had done and achieved that she admired. Mollie is still a very academic girl. She doesn’t go out and party much and would prefer to be discovering new secrets about the past than getting drunk.
