A Russian mercenary
Standing at 5'7, Tatiana carries herself with confidence on a usual day and uncertainty when the occasion calls for it. Red hair, that is forever fading into a bright shade of orange, falls to her mid-back, the cut complete with bangs. Her eyes change color almost daily as she wears color contacts to hide their true shade, though she seems to favor various colors of blue above all else. She only has two piercings, one on each ear, and no tattoos to prevent anyone from identifying her with them. She does, however, have a birthmark on the small of her back, on the left-hand side.
Her clothes are almost always casual unless she has a special reason to dress up. The fact that she harbors a passionate hate for skirts attributes to her wearing jeans or other types of pants all the time, however, situation pertaining.
Tatiana isn't a person that many would want to get into a deep relationship with. While she comes off as polite and easy going to most of the world, a few conversations with her and people gravitate away from the woman. She can be brash, not really minding what others think of what she has to say. To her, the world is screwed and no sugar coating is going to change that for anyone. Still, she carefully conceals her true identity, only with bitterness forcing herself to be “nice” to those she needs to keep close in order to complete any one mission on hand. She is set in her ways and is hard headed when it comes to any types of confrontations. For the most part she keeps away from making friends with civilians.
She has no lasting equipment. Everything gets tossed and recycled as per the mission. The only thing she makes sure to keep on her constantly is a small kit that allows her to pick locks on any door she needs. Another valuable thing to be found in her arsenal is a pair of simple gloves to keep fingerprints off of everything else.
Tatiana had never been much of a stranger to the life of a mercenary. Her father, Dmitri, had been an assassin. Tatiana's birth had been a mistake, an accident that should have never happened. Her mother, Natasha, had only found out about Dmitri's occupation by pure luck and got out alive against all odds. She took Tatiana as far away as money would allow them to go, settling down in a village to raise the girl without telling her why she never had a father.
Even as Tatiana grew over the years, though, she knew that something was being kept from her. She asked her mother about it several times but got no real answers as any young child might expect. It was when she was entering her teen years that the truth finally came out and not in the most pleasant of ways. She was taken from her mother against her wishes and brought to a house in a town that she didn't recognize. There she met her father for the first time and the tender age of 14 was told that her mother was giving her over to Dmitri for care. Little did she know that the woman had done no such thing and was desperately attempting to find Tatiana.
For the next several years, Tatiana was home schooled in all subjects possible. Her father seemed adamant about getting her a good education and even took her to martial arts lessons to strengthen her resolve as well as teach her how to fight. So great was his care toward his daughter, that by the time she turned 20 she didn't seem to care at all the fact that he was an assassin. In fact, she wanted to follow in his footsteps and soon was introduced to Hataf and the Russian branch leader, Nikolai. Over the years her skills have progressed further and specialties came to light that she hadn't been aware of earlier. She is a great shot with a gun, almost never missing her mark. It has made her into a great sniper if one is needed for a mission. She has also become an expert at getting around some of the toughest security systems to get into buildings and back out without traces.
Despite the fact that she had been enrolled in martial arts since her teenage years, however, Tatiana is not the best at hand to hand combat, never having developed much of a need for it. She depends on a silenced gun to do the job for her. She reckons that by the time people would get to her they would be dead either way. She also knows that her mother is somewhere out there, perhaps looking for her, perhaps having given up already. She wants to meet the woman again someday, yet is actually afraid of the reunion should it bring childhood memories that she would rather not think about when her main objective is to kill.
