Long ago the world was much like ours' is now, peaceful save for men killing men, heaven and hell clearly defined to those who believe, humanity alone as the sole rulers of the world. Then it all fell apart. No one knows what caused the change, or how it spread, but now, 500 years later humanity is almost gone. And yet even as the people on the rest of the planet struggle against the demons and beasts that have begun to conquer what remains, one area is still protected.

In what used to be gaza, and the Nile Delta human's gather in a great walled city called Sanctuary. Here the humans that remain have abandoned their gods and their nations, and live under the proctection of the Guild. It is this Guild that they now believe in, the guild is an organizations of the non-humans who protect the city under the direction of the Four Ancients tht rule the city. The Ancients are truely powerful beings, but they are not the only of their kind. Wondering dieties called Magus and the Cursed (Vampire, Demon, Lycan etc.) rule the land beyond Sanctuary. However they don't really bother the inhabitants very much. Its not the Wondering Ones that spell diaster, its the Fifth Ancient.

Outside the walls of the safe heaven is a place that looks like humanity just left, and yet it is barren. A few other settlements here and there crop up but for th emost part it is just the forgotten world full of strange creature and humans that have gone mad. virusus and other contanimants have turned most of man kind into a foul race called "Broken" that now stalk the world in packs from 5 to 50,000. It is these that now gather behind the leadership of the Fifth and are now threathening to overtake the world. Why, no one can guess.

You can be whoever or whatever you wish, but know that you are entering a war between beings with might beyond reckoning. Are you ready to face that power, and claim it for your own?
