In this world almost everyone is is a regular person in a regular life, that is of corse not counting the wiccan families. They have the ability over many things from their spells. In a school ironically named Fabula High there are cliques of groups of kids from families of wiccans. One family has hunted down the ancient evil of the black fire. The black fire is magical fire that destroys everything it touches. It is indeed very black magic and is the most dangerous thing to summon. Of corse magic like this does not just come to anyone but only the strongest in magic can summon it in his or her best state. The black fire has only been summoned once in history and that was when two people of different families clashed their magic. If you want to summon the black fire you must have at least 5 people to join you and they must be other characters. If you use magic then you lose energy so the more the . . . longer you live.
Also every character is always magical so you have to have a family mark. A family mark is a picture on the back of your hand that glows when you use to much magic. It can be as simple as a circle or as complicated as a wolf howling. Any way you have to have one.
Then there are 3 types of families.
- Pride magics; Magical people who are from two families that have the same family mark so they have only one family mark.
- New magics; people who are the child in the family that discovers the magical abilities of the family. In other words they don't have a mark yet.
- Mixed Magics; these are the ones who are from two or more (don't ask how you can have more, cause i don't know) magical families. They have two marks, one on each hand.
Marks that are taken, (Note Just because a sign is taken that doesn't mean you can't have the same, but unless you want to be related then you must change the color)

Miette nodded to Victor, then watched in shock as Freya's eyes began to change to a blood-red. It was eerie and Miette wondered if it was that creepy when she herself did that. "Um . . . yeah, maybe we should get to class. You know, before we're late?"

Victor watched intently and made mental note of the fact that Freya's eyes had turned crimson. He was a bit startled, but he remembered that something similar had happened to Miette earlier in the day. He worries if something similar will befall him, but he decides to deal with that when the time comes. Turning to Miette he says, "yes lets get going."

" Alright class you have about 15 minuets to start on your homework, most of the other classes had a majority done before the end of class so get to it." Said Mr. Shmitt and he sat in his desk and began to write.
" Alright i'll do numbers 1-15 and Miette do you want 16-30 or 31-45?" she asked taking out her book and started on the first question and they all were pretty easy. She finished her part after about ten minuets and then turned to the others.
" Okay so what do you think is happening? About the after school 'club'?" she asked copying the ones Miette had done so far.

As class continues he struggles to remain awake due to his boredom. Mr. Shmitt why do you have to have such a monotone voice, he thinks. He rejoices as the teacher grants them the last 15 minuets of class to complete their homework. He does not say anything as they start his homework. About the time Freya finishes the first 15 of them he finishes the last their homework. When he hears Freya question on whats going on he begins to think about it and decides to hear what the others have to say before voicing his thoughts.

" Woops." she giggled and sat in Freya's empty chair as freya was sitting on the desk.
" So they got accepted too?" she asked and freya nodded now copying Kate's work.
" you know what i think." freya turned and kate smirked, " I think that it isn't really a battle between schools at all. I think that we are going on some wild goose chase to get some treasure for the school and creation of some dark magic. Did you know that our principal is the last remaining member of the Prime Spell-casters?" Freay's eyes popped.
" No really?" The prime spell casters were a group of magicians who sought the control over the black fire in order to gain control of magical creatures. They used much dark magic and killed anyone who got in their way.
" it's true and the secret is that there is a book in the mayonaka country on how to control the black fire." she said and freya frowned.
" Why doesn't she get it herself."
" The white magicians put a spell around the whole country keeping her out so she is sending students in because they don't have any black magic on them yet." Freya winced. She did have some black magic on her. She wanted to try a spell so she summoned a demon. Keeping it under control nothing happened and she sent it back fine but what if it left residue. She grimaced and kate laughed.
" We all have our demons Freya." she joked as the teacher walked past and they chuckled.

" Just a head ache i guess." Kate said and turned away as Freya finished copying.

She turned as Victor asked how Kate found all this out. The teacher passed by and she pretended to be doing her work until he was gone. She was about to comment when Victor appeared to have a small spasm and then covered his face with his hands. "Victor, are you alright?" she asked worriedly, placing a hand on his shoulder. Miette heard Kate say something about a headache, but she could tell it was no ordinary headache.

" Well, lets just say i don't worry about you because i have my own demon. It is very powerful. He is also very old so he does no more damage to me than yours to you. You know about the demons that live through the Prime magic times I assume?" she asked, a twinkle in her eye. " He was during that time." Freya looked posotivly stunned and it seemed a shock as her pale skin made her appear as a statue, when she moved.
" How did he inhabit you? A family summoning gone wrong?"
"You know how you aren't supposed to get out of your circle when a demon comes. Well i shouldn't have. He just scared me so i took a step back thinking i had plenty of room and . . ." she trailed off, but Freya knew what she meant.
" Mine was a very well known tormenter. But when i summoned him he was weak and just asked what i wanted I told him to take some money from a bank. He stole about 300 dollars but i haven't used it yet. It still is there. It might be useful later." She said and Kate giggled.
" Well i guess it'll come in some help later." she said and walked away.

"Well, Kate brought up that she stepped out of the circle and that she asked the demon to rob the bank," Miette explained quietly. "Even if the demon were weak, he would have made an attack attempt. Plus, all demons require a blood sacrifice in order to do anything for that person. Kate acted as though she just said, 'Rob a bank,' and he did it without question or command. It just doesn't happen that way. I wonder what kind of blood sacrifice Kate must have done in order to get it to obey." She turned to Freya. "What do you think?"

" I-I can't tell." she said quietly and then looked down. Her answers were all written down and she had nothing to do. " If you want to know then ask Kate." She said biting her lip. Don't tell don't tell. She thought quietly but it was very hard to keep it contained . . .

Drake grabed Miette by her shirt collar and leaned forward, whispering, "How dare you assist in the affairs of new and mixed bloods? You know we have forbidden you to do so!"
"I'm s-sorry, Father, but they're my . . ."
"Friends?" Her mother laughed before whispering furiously, "They will never be your friends. They'll just pretend because you're a pureblood and, once they have no need for you, they will betray you. When it comes time to take part in the activity after school, I expect you to fight alongside your pureblood peers."
"Yes, ma'am." Miette sat in her seat as he parents left, feeling ashamed and hurt by her parents' words.

" Don't listen to a word they say!" shouted Freya when they were well out of the class room. " We wouldn't betray you on our life!!!" she said clenching her fists.
" How did you know they said that?" asked kate who had joined them.
" It's what all parents say when they don't want you to hang out with someone. My adoption parents said it to me to get me away from my pure blood sister." she snorted. "They don't care if i get all better grades and can beat her-" she paused to calm down, " -butt in a duel with the flick of my finger and still have energy to fight off 50 of her, just as weak, pure blood friends. No offense Miette but they are quite stupid." she said and gave a weak smile.
