Description

Name: Dr. Ashleigh Vanderbilt
Nickname: Leigh
Age: 18
Side: Wish

Appearance:
Leigh was the only child of her parents, Tarek and Alisha Vanderbilt. As Americans they were a well to do family and along with their money came good looks. Leigh is a looker, with long curly blond hair and slightly tanned skin. She's of Greek and Italian descent. Standing at 5"8 she's taller than the average and tends to wear flat shoes to avoid accentuating her height. She weights one hundred and thirty pounds. She seems small in terms of her dress size but she's a strong woman due to a strong exercise regime. She tends to dress in black scrubs and keep her hair pulled back unless she's working in the lab. She wears thick black framed glasses occasionally when she feels her eyes are starting to strain. Of course, she's rarely found without her labcoat on.

Personality:
Leigh is a mechanical and logical person. She does what she feels is best in the name of science. When it comes to kids she rarely feels for them, as she herself didn't have the most thrilling childhood. Many of them aren't gifted in any way so enhancing them is her means of giving them a better life. When it comes to enhancements or surgeries she follows protocol as best she can. She doesn't like to improvise due to how uncomfortable is makes her feel but she's more than capable of acting on her feet. Leigh is a fast and independent person. If a person is below her in ranking she won't hesitate to make them feel so. She can come off as cold to most of the people she works with due to her desire to remain detached from her work. As much as she tries to suppress her emotion she's extremely passionate. When it comes to science and human biology she is extremely interested in it and can often be found reading up on the latest medical journals and clinical trials. Her passion can carry over, especially when she's been working on a project for a long time. Leigh doesn't trust people easily and often keeps people on a short leash. As a child genius she's learned to act beyond her years though a naivete can sometimes emerge.

Background:
Leigh's parents were well to do people, living in the prominent upper east side part of Manhattan New York. She grew up surrounded by the wealthy and the vain however she often showed little interest in charity work or fashion. From a young age she was exposed to knowledge and the powerful accomplished people of the world. Her father focused on telling her the stories of the American business stars while her mother chose instead to focus on the likes of Isaac Newton and Einstein. When she went to school it was to a private and prestigious one. Something happened there. Within the confines of their dormitories and with nothing else to do the child blossomed. Leigh was a genius. She was fourteen when she finished high school and her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Harvard was a cinch, she did that in two. She was well on her way to working towards a PHD. But she stopped the schoolwork, for the most part, and simply started to work in the industry.

Leigh had started work with some prominent pharmaceutical companies. Her manipulation of known medical compounds astounded some. She was truly gifted in her field of work. That is, until the company she had been hired by was investigated for horrendous side effects. It wasn't Leigh's work that had gone wrong but a fellow colleague. When the government tore through every aspect of the companies work, Leigh was one of the few left standing. Wish came to know of her and quickly came to recruit her. It wasn't soon after she found herself being flown to their headquarters and signing waivers. They promised her live test subjects, compounds that weren't from earth. Who was she to resist? Yet it wasn't only her desire to become a scientist for Fate but her willingness to be an adult subject that her recruited. She opted to leave behind her family and money. Will she regret it all?
