Description

Age: 19
Type: Mutant
Side: Unknown
Nickname: Mimic

Apperance: Natasha has lithe but very athletic build, standing at roughly 5'10" with fair though noticeably scarred skin, most of them on her arms and hands though she is rather striking looking despite this. These angry marks seem to have been caused by burns of some kind though they are somehow unnatural looking, especially around her blacked nails and open up as glowing, vent-like structures after absorbing energy of almost any kind. Her dark purple dyed hair is very straight, reaching down to her shoulders and her darting, suspicious eyes have irises so dark they appear to be black. Nat is almost constantly fidgeting, doing something or simply scratching away at herself, extremely twitchy and is prone to occasional, seizure-like fits of movement. Nat generally wears skinny denim jeans with runners and a short sleeved T-shirt over a long sleeved, horizontally striped shirt of dark colours. This is normally coupled with a long, black trench coat of some description. Her accent is vaguely European, almost Dutch but her stuttering makes it hard to pin-point.

Equipment

Abilities: Natasha has a hyper-sensitivity to her surroundings though not completely focused on her hearing, sight, smell or taste but rather touch. By making skin contact with an object or sometimes other forces such as electricity she is able to obtain information about its composition, how it works (if it's a machine) and sometimes a sort of history of what its been through, all gained within seconds. Her body chemistry and genetic traits also enable her to 'assimilate' and reproduce their properties briefly during this contact. For example, were she to touch an iron bar she could turn her skin to iron. Unfortunately it is difficult for Mimic to control how long this lasts or even how she expresses the traits, e.g. her muscles would turn to iron and be unable to move. The absorption of information is quite overwhelming and thus has lead to to her mental instability, especially when in contact with things such as electricity, radiation or living things rather than dead/non-living objects but her body has become far more suited to this with the activation of more of her mutant genes. Nat is particularly good at electricity, able to sometimes convert her entire body into it though it does lead to highly erratic behavior

Nat has training in karate and this, coupled with her athleticism and enhanced senses, makes her an excellent fighter. She also happens to be an excellent cook and highly knowledgeable in biology, chemistry and physics just not people.
Items: She normally carries a few random samples of common metals, just in case she gets caught in a jam as well as a kitchen knife and a number of electrical components to an unknown device.
Other: Natasha now suffers the effects of often severe mental instability and bouts of paranoid schizophrenia due to her powers and is believed to have been involved in a murder. Formerly extensive use of her powers would accelerate her mental problems, sometimes resulting in violent episodes which she could not remember however due to the effects of electricity and a powerful telepathic mutant this state is practically constant with exceptions of when her powers are suppressed.

History

Natasha was formerly friends with Romeo and his group, helping and traveling with them even after the attempt to save a couple of them lead her to be captured by the MTD. Despite her paranoia she began to trust them but then they were involved in the Newton City Mall Masacre, attacked by the mutant know as Psycho. She tried fighting him conventionally for a time but eventually she realised she needed more power and hastily absorbed electrical energy, focusing her schizophrenic rage on the monster. It distracted him for a time but then he used his telepathy to make her see her friends as a threat. She attacked them ruthlessly until the puppet master of sorts was dead, releasing a wave of psychic energy that blasted her DNA, activating even more of her powers. One of the MTD, a half-breed psychic, entered her mind while she struggled with it and enhanced her paranoia of them. Mimic departed from the scene quickly, finding a hiding place and, not entirely incorrectly, believing that the MTD were already after her and trying to capture and/or kill her planned how to stop them. In the end her broken mind came up with a solution; Get rid of the MTD. To do this she decided the best method would be to destroy their bases and hunt down any straggling members, something she never would have considered when sane.
