Introduction
Celestials experimented on humans, creating a gene that would cause mutations, and give them powers of the unknown. From controlling an element, to telekinesis, this special gene, created it all.
At first, mutants hid themselves, afraid of what society would say. Afraid of what they would do. The uncertainty of the mutants was shattered when a man by the name of Charles Xavier, created a safe haven for young mutants so they could train their powers for the benefit f humanity, and prove that mutants can be heroes, instead of abominations. He called them, the X-Men, because they possessed the gene known as the X-Gene. For many years, Charles traveled to find children with this gene, and brought them to the Westchester Mansion he called, Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. He trained X-Men, and they fought off the evil in society, including the Brotherhood of Mutants, lead by Erik Lehnsherr, also known as Magneto.
Though society still frowned down on the mutants, the mutants were able to live amongst humans without any animosity between them, as long as the mutants didn’t threaten their lives. Though it all changed when the government figured out the gene. They experimented and after failure after failure, they recreated the gene, and harvested into a human that did not possess the gene. From this experiment, a mutant grew. From then, the government had the materials to create weapons of mass destruction. They would create mutants for their own purposes and use them in war.
Though through all of this the World Leaders never suspected a thing, the government keeping their “project”, a secret from the world. The tested this out on the city of New York. The X-Men were alerted and rushed in to save them, but to find out, something was terribly wrong. The citizens of New York City did not care whether or not they lived or died. This confusing matter caused the X-Men to retreat, and to figure out why the balance was disturbed.

Re: [OOC] X-men; Mutants and Masterminds
Now then, I only see a few troublespots, I approve the character, though I think I can help guide you properly into the fold of roleplaying. I am unsure at the moment if this game will be tabbed like it is, but posting as if on a forum, which is possible.... I think....

Basically the character journals are pretty much something characters like to keep in some games I am part of. So naturally I thought, what about this game? coldn't our characters keep a journal of their past experiances too? So yeah, that's pretty much the point really. :)

OK everyone, if you like you may start a character journal, there is a area located on the forujms called Character Journals, which when you post one it must look like this in format.
Thread title: Character name ~ (plus a piece or few words to describe how they view their jhournal, like past experiances or something)
Thread body: Character name, (should match the thread title), and also the name of the game in questions, so it will appear liek this
Thread post body: Teyilia's views of the past and present
An X-men; Mutants and Masterminds Character Journal
Once you write this as your first post, you may add more posts of "journal entries" to the thread, I want to make one thing clear though, there is to be ONE journal per character, even if youi play mutliple characters in this game.

I'm super exited to give this sort of rp a try. I think it will really help my writing overall.
