Introduction
The Role play well focus on two different points of view.
The X-Men vs The FOH
The ones doing the actual fighting. These are the mutants who go out on missions and the FOH who oppose them. They are the main protectors of the younger mutants. This will be were the more advanced role playing will take place, more serious subject matter relevant to the mutant battle than the daily life of the mutants. This will be mostly forum based.
The Mutants vs The General Public
These are the younger mutants. Living with the X-Men and Magneto, they are simply trying to get by going to a human school and dealing with the loss of their families and friends. This is where the most casual role playing will be taking place, with posts one to two paragraphs long. This will take place in the chat and the forum.
If using a Canon character make sure their name is their alias (Like Gambit, Cyclops, Magneto not Remy, Scott, Magnus) enter tehir real name in the character's bio.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT X-MEN TO SUBMIT A CHARACTER
Other than the people submitting a canon character (already in the comics/movies), you do not need any X-men knowledge. You can create a original character and make him how ever you would like.
I will be playing MANY characters as i feel certain characters should be in this RP, just because i am playing a character does not mean that you can't. If you want to play a character that is already being played by me, LeBeau, let me know and chances are ill give you the character! Just let me know if you want one of the characters i am using or submit a bio for that character.
You can submit either canon of original characters. If you have and idea for a new mutant go ahead and submit it, that is what we are looking for. Most of the canon X-men well fall into the first category while new characters you create can fit into either. We are looking for mutants and members of the FOH.
Magneto and Duncan well be reserved for me and my co-GameMasters.
At the moment we need more female characters, and people to play Wolverine, cyclops, ect and some more original characters (ones you created). If you have a different character you would like to submit go ahead.
Character Choices: X-men (18+) FOH (18+) Mutant living with the X-men (6-18) Bigoted human (Any age) Mutant's human friends (Any age)

The History
Friends of Humanity (FOH), an anti-mutant hate group, has grown considerably in past years. During Advent of 2011, a newer leader arose. Replacing Graydon Creed after many felt his continual failures weren't helping the group in anyway, Duncan Patrickson would take his place. As the member of an influential family with ties to politicians and chinwaggers, he took up the cause after his son was killed in a skirmish between the Brotherhood and the X-Men. Deciding to eliminate any support the group had growing for Xavier, a man who supported friendship and community between mutants and humans. Turning the already diabolical group into an aberration of the third Reich.
It had only grown worse through time, as anti-mutant propaganda and sentiment turned to blatantly blind and irrational hatred. The FOH controlled media ran rampant, gleaming every mutant related death, branding them as threats to further add fuel for the anti-mutant sentiment of the country, even twisting mutant suicides as attacks on the country and its morals.
Seeing his opportunity, Duncan introduced himself into the public eye as the new face behind the group. The FOH was now seen as the only defense against the Unlawful heathen savage known as mutants and 'mutie scum', making Duncan's involvement only further extend his respectability in the eyes of the public.
In response, many Civil Rights Activist stood up and decried what he said as wrong. Inhumane even, that this was the same message used in era of Jim Crow laws. The opposition was quickly labeled as mutant sympathizers and traitors by the public. This urged members of the government to stay silent in fear of losing their government positions. Anti-mutant congressman and senators ran rampant, lead by Duncan.
As anti-mutant hysteria rose, various acts began flying through congress. Laws limiting mutant rights were passed easily as they were made into second class citizens. This caused tension to rise as mutant riots began breaking out over the country.
Magneto would lead these riots as humans were slaughtered left and right. Thousands died and continued so until the unthinkable happened....
Duncan announced his candidacy for president of the United States of America. Hank McCoy ran against him despite the threats and mob violence. He was unable to sway the public as Duncan won a land slide victory....
As his first act i of presidency, Duncan would put billions into the creation of powerful sentinels. The tides shifted as the mutants began dying in the hundreds of thousands. Magneto would lose nearly every ally he has. Realizing it was the result of his actions and his actions alone, magneto would retreat to the slums as he disappeared from public eye. Drowning in his sorrows
Xavier wept
In an attempt to somehow stop this, to maybe garner some support. Xavier took a huge risk, going on National television, arguing the mutant case. During a sudden attack at one of his rallies he was forced to use his powers to defend himself. He exposed himself for what he truly was, a mutant.
Within a week several attempts were taken to murder Xavier. He was mortally wounded within months, bound to a hospital bed. Knowing his death was imminent he reached out to Magneto. Telling him that he would need to continue his battle, his death could not be in vain. Magneto would agree to take his position as he reformed and joined the remains of the X-men, reluctantly leading with veteran and new mutants alike.
Xavier died less than a month later. The mansion was attacked as the mutants were forced to flee. Finding a new home in Malibu California, the most mutant friendly place left in the US, the X-men began to train along with various new mutants. They would not give up. They would not fail.[list=1]

Of course though, the same feeling of claustrophobia would course through her body. Looking at Wolverine she would give him a harsh glance, though an even harsher one toward Magneto. Of course, Wolverine would be the first to stand up and take action before thinking things through, shaking her head she leaned back, looking at them. "We can't make rash decisions just because we found another body. If we did so, we would be running about at all times of the day."
With this she would look pointedly at Wolverine before looking over at Magneto "I am going to suggest we leave after we get the new children settled in. We, being who I am not sure." at this she shrugged softly, her breathing still slightly raised as she tried to calm down. It seemed that the walls were closing in, and the anger rolling off of Wolverine in waves wasn't helping her.

The woman wasn't unnerved by any of the men in the room. Having lost her own man, none of her higher-ranking mutants could set her on edge, even if they tried. "What do you have in mind Maverick?" she asked politely, opening to white orbs to gaze up at him. However much it seemed she was looking at him, her mind was now over the east coast, shifting through the clouds.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Last Class
Being very important characters, you need to prove that you can play them well enough. If you cant accurately play them, i may have to revoke the characters (Very Very Unlikely). I hope you understand.

WhatYou there a certain issue I have with your character. She's a female pyro right down to the lighter and her name is little Mary-Sueish both names. Please can you work on making her a little more different and also make her mutant name less showy. My suggestion is about Ember, less scream out. Now for real name choose either Infinity or Maze as both together seems implausible, my suggestions are minor and you may have to resubmit character, but you want your character to have their own personality don't you and not seem just like a female Pyro.
