Introduction

Image

It has been five years since the supposed death of Professor Charles Xavier and the close of his magnificent school for "gifted youngsters" as well as the defeat of Magneto and his group. Unfortunately, Magneto was never really defeated an he's now back and stronger than ever. The Mutant teachers of Xavier's school are on the lookout for new, powerful Mutant teens to teach- hoping that they will then be strong enough to defeat their old foe permanently. Our story begins with a choice- will you support Magneto in his efforts to destroy the humans? Or will you strive to defeat Magneto and save the human race?

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

it's ok^^

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Erm... Small dilemma. My firewall refuses to let me see the roleplay now due to 'violence'. So, if someone could PM/post the main page to me I'll make a new thread for it and fix it so that my computer can see it- if everyone's still willing to do this in that case? I apologize for any inconvenience..

I fixed mine so you'll know what they are. Both mine are Alliance, one's a teacher at the school for the gifted, the other is a student.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Just letting you know that I submitted a character for your approval. Thanks

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Sorry, clicked the shiny post button more than I should have...didn't even know you could double-post on OOC...Interesting...

So yeah, just ignore this...

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Thanks for accepting my character...when do we start?

The reason I just submitted my sheet anyway, was cos soon after my laptop was starting to be very stubborn and not wanting to play anymore, so my internet kept shutting down on me...so I put 'Lucas' up in case I couldn't get online again. The internet has however been fixed, so hopefully there should be no more problems...

I should warn you however: once my brain has an idea, it tends to run away with my hands, so my posts might be a little on the long side at times, but most of the time they'll be between 100-300 words. some of my longer posts may have typos too, as I type quite fast, so if you notice anything, let me know and I will click on the shiny 'EDIT' button and fix it.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Sorry I haven't posted anything yet. I was working on finishing a week of school yesterday and didn't get to pop in and say hello. Skating and my computer gets poked at today. :/

Head_Over_Heels: No, I don't mind at all!

Templar: Sounds good.

Cage: It's sort of my way to figure out how much you're willing to write for the actual roleplay. I really don't want this to degrade to one-liners...

Wade: There seems to be some interest!

Beka: Go ahead and post your character! Not really much of a need to reserve a slot unless you want to play as a baddie I suppose.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Okay...just spent the last few hours reading up on various X-men stuff...should be enough to go on for now...I'll probs post a sheet at some point soon...or do you need to reserve a slot? I know it says unlimited, but if I have to reserve then can I?
*clears throat*
I would like to reserve a student please, if that is possible? *puppy dog eyes*

I will wait for a reply before I post a character sheet.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

@Cage, that is seriously lazy. Just because its not the right format doesn't mean you can't write your list then transform it. That is hardly difficult. It certainly isn't BS that a GM has a expectation of those joining his roleplay, be a bit more polite.
Personality (List): Boring
Personality (Sentence): So-and-so is quite boring and uninteresting.
Go on and give a try, you'll be surprised how much more depth you can get from sentances.

Knowing the world and lore of a particular universe is quite useful I must say. However, how much of the actual, movies/comics is involved in this? From my point of view I would say very little.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

Good luck with it, Ive been trying to get members for the 2 marvel rpgs that i made, not much interest in them here it seems. its a shame. i not a big marvel fan I have not seen any of the movies that have been made, except first spiderman, hulk films. never read the comics either, but im still interested in rping in this type of rpg, no one else seems to be though

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

You had my interest completely. i was About to Join. then i saw the BS about 5 sentences for personality. you completely lost me their. I don't write Sentences of the personality. i Write the key words to the personality. other than that. the RP seems amazing

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

I'm not sure what to go for, you seem to need teachers and I don't play baddies all too often so I'm willing to give those a try. Student would be my first pick but I've often been a student. I'm interested, even though I've been in a lot of roleplays like this.

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

I've never really been into X-men, but I know the rough storyline and I've seen the movies, can I still post a sheet? I want to do this RP cos I'm sick of all the other ones where they assume that your character is already in full control of their powers, and that doesn't really leave much room for anything other than weird romance pairings...this one sounds interesting...

Re: [OOC] X-Men: The Lost

I've been looking for an X-Men RP for so long, I just have to join this one. XD I'm gonna take one of the new recruits if you don't mind. ^^
