Alexandra James is a normal high school girl. She plays in the band, she dances alone in her room, she likes a certain guy. That guy happens to be her best friend, Matthew Greene. Alexandra has liked Matt since Matt moved next door Eleven years ago. They were five back then. Matt and Alexandra, or Lexi, walk home together, laugh together, pass notes together, and get in trouble together. Lexi has just one problem. Melissa Farrara. Melissa is the most popular girl in school, and she's dating Matt. This breaks Lexi's heart. Before she knows whats happening, Lexi develops a hate for Melissa. The only person that Lexi can depend on is her friend Sara. Even Sara has her little problems though. For example, Sara is secretly friends with Melissa. This leaves Lexi all alone. Lexi can't confess her love to Matt. Shes too shy. Will Lexi get Matt back? Who will win him over? Lexi, his best friend, or Melissa, the popular snob?

☞ Here are all the streets in Lakeside: Summer Avenue, Johnsin Street, Emeraly Road, Harrison Avenue, Terrance Street, Estatic Way, Zetteti Lane, and Fox Hollow Road.
