Introduction

Plot:
Many years ago the Greek Gods created the Constellations. When they did this, they let the creatures that each Constellation represented fight in a war. This war lasted for over three years, constellations would murder each other in cold blood. They would turn on friends, kill innocents, whatever had to be done in order to win the war. The Gods saw how violent things could get, which is why the forced the Constellations to fight on their own land, instead of Earth. The battle waged for years, until thirteen warriors remained. The winner of the war was Serpantarius, who became known as the 13th Zodiac. He could fight, kill, and easily destroy anything in his path. The other twelve are what we today call the Zodiac. A league of twelve warriors who sit in the sky and stare down at humans. They each watch over a different group of people, depending when the human was born. Each one protects their group of humans from danger. If they fail to keep their watch, then one of the humans will get in trouble. The job of a Zodiac is hard, but it is respectable. Every Constellation wishes to be a Zodiac, but the chances of being one are very slim. That is why the Zodiac War came into existence, to make sure that only the strongest warriors remained in the Zodiac position. Serpantarius set up the war in order to make sure all of his warriors stayed on their toes. The usual twelve Zodiac have not been defeated yet, but that can all change in the blink of an eye. If a Constellation loses the Zodiac War, it is killed and replaced by the next in line. This means if Lupus loses the Zodiac war, Leo is allowed to behead him and find another wolf to replace him. All Constellations serve one of the Zodiac, though which one is up to them to decided. All Constellations and Zodiacs serve Serpantarius, for if they didn't they would burn in an inferno.

The sixth Zodiac War is coming up. The rules are the same as normal, fight your way to the top and you can become a Zodiac. If you beat everyone in the war, you can stay a Zodiac for the rest of your life. If you are a Zodiac, you must defend your spot as one of the Zodiac with your life. No real warrior will give up a spot of honor without a fight first. But this year, Serpantarius has done something odd. He has order all of the Constellations and Zodiacs to fight on Earth. He refuses to give a reason for doing this. He ordered it though, so none of the Constellation Warriors will talk back. There has been question of the man's sanity though. All of the Constellation Warriors have descended to Earth. The battle is to be held in a very small town in Japan. This town is very rural, with little technology. People have farms mostly, with lots of animals. This means a good source of food for the predatory Constellation Warriors. But won't the humans get suspicious? Won't there be trouble? Maybe Serpantarius has flipped his lid.

The truth is that Serpantarius has a plan. When the Gods all died because of human disobedience., he had to take over the whole ruling department. The assistance of the Zodiac was helpful, but they only watched humans. They could not rule over things like water or the Underworld. So Serpantarius was stuck to do all the work himself. The work load was so too much, and soon he began o neglect certain things. Forest fires began to break out due to neglect of the sun, the dead would escape the Underworld in order to torment those who killed them. Things were not going correctly with only one man to control it. He was no God, he could not take over the world and do it correctly, not without help. So he made a plan to find some assistance. He had many children, all of whom belong to human mothers. If he could get these children to his realm, they could help him rule. The question was, how? How would he bring his half human children to this world? Then he came up with a plan.

If each of the Constellation Warriors brought one of his children home, perhaps he would have enough. He claimed it was time for another war and began to act out his plan. He gave each of the Constealltion Warriors an Advent of Faith. This Advent was disguised as a normal object, something like a dagger of a necklace. Each of them were made for his children. When given to his children, the Advent would release their true form, allowing them to come to the Constellation Realm. He didn't want to marry his children off to the Constellation Warriors, but he had no choice. That was the only way the Advent of Faith would work, if the Constellation Warriors would willingly give them to another our of faith or trust. It was risky to send the Warriors to Earth, but he had no choice. The world would end if he didn't.

Your Role:

You can play one of two classes: A Constellation Warrior or a Child of Serpantarius.

As a Constellation Warrior, you have been training you whole life in order to become a Zodiac. If not, you are a Zodiac who has been spending their life watching over humans and protecting them. You are participating in the Zodiac War. You are out to kill anyone who gets in your way and do anything in order to win. You were given an Advent of Faith by Serpantarius. What you do with this is up to you. What you don't know is that the Advent will draw you toward any of Serpantarius's children that happen to be around. It will be hard to avoid them. As a Constellation, you serve a Zodiac and Serpantarius, as a Zodiac, you serve Serpantarius only.

As a Child of Serpantarius, you play a normal kid. You live in a small town in Japan, not normally having any excitement in your life. You have an odd birthmark on your body. Your mother is single, you don't know who your fathers is. You will be oddly drawn to the Constellation Warriors. You will most likely end up in many situations where you will be woken up in the middle of the night and walk outside for reasons you don't know. You hold a power inside that you don't know about.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

Egad, sorry I didn't see you posted. I thought only the Zodiacs and Constellations had true forms? So the Children do was well? And I hope more ppl join soon.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

True form just means that if you are Scorpio, for example, your true form might be a giant scorpion.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

Well, I've narrowed down my Zodiac choices to Scorpio, Capricorn (which is my sign btw hehe), and Leo (which is my rising sign). I am also deciding between Cancer or Pisces (my moon sign) for one of the Children. One thing is for sure, my Zodiac will be male and my child will be female, that much I do know. Also I have a question regarding the True Form Description. What exactly does this mean?

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

I know I'll be playing two characters as well, but I think I'm going to be doing a constellation... I'm not positive yet.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

Okay cool. I'll go ahead and join your rpg. Now I just need to decide what Sign to pick lol. Well, I know for sure I want to do a Zodiac sign and one of the kids. Have you pick who you want to do yet?

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

They can be or they can not be, it all depends really. It's optional in the end though.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

Well one thing is for sure, going to need more players. One other question though, were you intending the Children and the Constellion or Zodiac people who are connected to be romantically paired up? Trying to get things clear by what info you were getting out.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

I plan on creating rules... It's odd, I certainly thought that I wrote them out... They must have disappeared again. That's for the complements on the plot, as it's actually the plot-line behind a game I'm currently making.

Now then, I suppose two characters is a good starting point, three with special permission.

Re: [OOC] Zodiac Wars

I definantly see alot of potential for this rpg. I happen to love Greek mythology and am very familiar withe Greek Zodiac. (I created my own story based around it.) I do hope you create rules for this rpg so nothing gets out of hand. I do have a question. How many chars can a player have and how many can one start off with?
