The Grand Tournament 2008
Round 2: Begins August 8th.
Round 2: Begins August 8th.
After an absolutely amazing first round, sixteen of thirty-two fighters move forward into the second round of the Grand Tournament.
Note from Master: By no means should any of you walk away from this with your heads down - even those of you who have been eliminated have put forth an amazing effort that made the task of judging a very difficult task. The sportsmanship shown by all of you is exemplary, and I can only hope that everyone continues to display this degree of excellence throughout the tournament.
Please remember that all participants are still eligible for the writing prizes - which means that you are all welcome to continue roleplaying in The Lobby, as well as some new in character topics that will be posted when I can finish them. All in character posts will be counted in the judging for the writing prizes. - so don't leave, stick around for the afterparty. :]
Additionally, I will make in-depth assessments available for any fighter who wishes to request such a thing. These judgments were very taxing, but in short - the winners were determined based on successful attacks, defenses, and control of the situation. Thank you all, again, for upholding the values of the Grand Tournament and establishing such a high standard for fighters around the world to follow.
