1998 - I was a highschool dropout.
1999 - I was working full time at the movie theatres by the age of fifteen. In my state, it's illegal to work full time when you're underage, so I had to personally write a letter to congress and have the governor himself write me a pardon. I applied myself to home schooling, and paid for my own highschool courses. With nobody to teach me, I bought a personal computer (PC) and started pursuing my own education. I became completely self-taught, using my own brain and the computer I was given.
1999 - I discovered Vampire: The Masquerade, a roleplaying game, by pure mistake, while doing research on the Holy Bible one day. I had already become accustomed to computer games, as I used to play Yahoo! Chess and Checkers on-line with other people who took an interest in those types of board games. I stumbled upon a link pertaining to the fabled Book of Enoch, which led me to a V:TM blood-line chatroom on Multicity's free chat server. By the time I had discovered the V:TM chatroom, it was already a ghost chat. But through Multicity's chat server, I was able to navigate to other chatrooms and that's how I became familiar with chatroom roleplaying. My very first participation in RPG chatrooms occurred in Kaduran's DBZ/GT RPG Battle Chat, which is where I was introduced to textual combat for the very first time. Back then, AA and T2 were the most popular text fighting styles used in Multicity.
2000 - Better known as the Golden Age of Internet RPG, this was a time of clans and wars. I was the leader/king of a small clan in Multicity at this time, and had developed a positive reputation for my skills in AA and T2 textual combat. As such, an "elite" group of roleplayers spotted me and invited me to help defend their own chatroom and forum in Geocities, known as the Castle of Dragons, which ran parallel to the Multicity chat server at that time. I joined a group known as the Mavericks, who trained me to become a chatroom warrior. Through this encounter, I learned chivalry and what it meant to be a good text fighter. After several months of refinement, training, and regurgitated knowledge, I was knighted into the Castle of Dragons and became a guardian of textual combat. I went on to help defend the Castle of Dragons as an ambassador to other chats, where I personally signed treaties with the monarchs of places like Usagi & Mamoru's, and acted as a hired mercenary to foreign leaders. By doing so, I was able to recruit new ranks into the Castle of Dragons, and by the end of the year our clan would become famous for wiping out the biggest threat in all of Multicity, a rival clan known only as the Yakuza.
2001 - This is when I became more involved in what we now call "freestyle" textual combat. A few other members of the Castle of Dragons and I decided to branch off into the Castle of Blackfyre, and do our own thing. We no longer adhered to written rules and tutorials, as we felt we had advanced beyond the need for a system or government. I became a freestylist, and instead of practicing the knightly code of chivalry, I retired my sword and became a martial artist. Rather than using weapons, I started using empty hand tactics to fight with. What seperated me the most from other fighters perhaps was my strict adherance to fighting unarmed, without the use of Ki/Chi to defeat my opponents. Still being somewhat attached to my code of honor and chivalry, I refused to practice magic or energy, and instead relied solely on unarmed combat and my experience in martial arts techniques. My fame grew wildly as I went on to fight many chatroom villains and ruffians. I typed much faster then, and even though I found myself outnumbered and outpowered on occassion, I was still able to use my superior WPM and quick reactive mentality to defeat two, sometimes three opponents at a time. What contributed the most to my popularity was probably the fact that many of my opponents used Ki/Chi or magic to fight with, whereas I fought unarmed and restricted myself to normal martial arts techniques without the use of energy. Somehow, I still managed to go this whole year undefeated, and by the end of it I had become one of the "elite" warriors respected for his unique fighting style.
2002 - This is when the Castle of Blackfyre merged into the Metawerx chat server, and opened a chatroom in the RPZone area of the chatrooms. Shortly afterwards, I became independant and left the Castle of Blackfyre, going off to do my own thing and be my own person. I faired well by myself, and even opened my own Dojo or school, where I began training personal students in the art of "freestyle" textual combat. I signed treaties with the Nobunaga clan and Shinjo clan, and became a hired sword whenever they needed help. For the most part though, I was solo, and at that time I was on a sort of Musha Shugyo to gain all the knowledge I could pertaining to textual combat.
2003 - This period in my history is blank, as I have no memory of it... I think I took some time off away from the computer, because I was deeply involved in Kung Fu training, and learning mixed martial arts at this time. I had started my Kung Fu training in 2000, but had not fully dedicated myself to it until around 2003.

2005 - This period in my history is blank, as I have no memory of it...
2006 - I was invited by Seraphim (aka Nonpareil) to the very first annual Grand Tournament, better known as GT-1, hosted by Master (aka Remaeus) and the GT-League administration. I entered the tournament and was matched up against Quickhand (aka Xela Vydust?), a rival from another clan. I fought Xela Vydust once and defeated him, killing him in only two simple moves. He argued his case to the judges, who declared a rematch on his behalf. I fought him again, and was declared the loser by Treize Khushrenada, who accused me of "moding" since I ended the fight too quickly. I humbly withdrew from the Grand Tournament shortly after that, and never entered a competition since then.
2007 - Still upset by my loss in GT2006, I made it a point to equal the score. I sent one of my private students from the old Comicity chats to faceup against True Grave, a rival opponent who challenged many fighter's abilities. Grave had insulted Zhelir Darkfall, Master (aka Remaeus), Seraphim (aka Nonpareil), and many other on-line fighters who at the time, were not even my friends, but my enemies. Despite my relationship to them, however, I felt personally insulted by True Grave's accusations and made it my point to teach him a lesson in humility. I sent one of my private students to fight him, and watched admirably as True Grave took a beating. Afterwards, I gave him my own personal challenge, which ended in Grave's submission to defeat. In that way, I was able to restore my lost honor, and cancel out my one and only loss ever in the GT-League's database. I am now listed in their ranks as having 1-win, and 1-loss. I have never lost another match, and to this day I am still placed sixty out of one hundred and eighty five fighters who entered the GT's database.
2006 - Saladin heard about my reputation as an online fighter, and due to his personal grudge from a loss to Nonpareil, decided to throw insults at me and my personal students. Once again, I sent one of my private students to go fight him, in order to teach Saladin a lesson in humility. Saladin claimed to have defeated my student, even though their fight never ended, and was never judged. Saladin continued to insult my students, to the point where eventually I challenged him myself, and threatened to take away his title. At first he agreed to fight me, but eventually after a few posts he wimped out and stopped caring. My victory was never validated, but I plan to have it validated soon. Needless to say, I heard no smart remarks or insults coming from Saladin after that.
2007 - This period in my history is blank, as I have no memory of it...
2008 - I started going to college...
2009 - This would bring us to modern day, as of right now. I am now a retired online fighter, prefering my lyrics and storyline RPG's to online fighting. I am still considered by some to be a "guardian" of textual combat, having been there through the Golden Age until now. Before I decided to retire from textual combat, I made sure to write a detailed "chronology" of textual combat's history from beginning to end. I also created my own textual combat system, called WTCM and based on T1, which relies heavily on strategic battlefield tactics using NPC's in what I like to refer to as "epic battle roleplaying". There is no written tutorial for WTCM, and the last person I started to teach this system to was Malevolance, before I retired. Now I am just an observer, and a watchful "guardian" who stands on the sidelines and gives my experienced opinions based on what I see. I do not plan on getting back into the ring any time soon, although many people do not believe me when I say that. The truth is, I'm not interested in fighting for fame. I'm not concerned with titles or ranks, as I am a man of principles, who cares more about the "truth" in textual combat than I do with being the greatest. And for me, it will always be that way. So as long as I am around to preserve it, the "truth" will be revealed. Right now, I'm doing this for those select fighters who seek just that, and that is why I am called the "guardian" of textual combat.
