Ricky looked at Gray and said, "I don't know if he's the owner. As far as I know, he's the music instructor. Who sometimes gets on my nerves."

She looked at Ricky, an eyebrows raised together in confusion. "Could you explain? I mean.. how did you get into all this. I have only been here a week and haven't been able to find a place to stay, besides here. But I don't want to trespass." Gray said. She wanted to do things right, her way and the general right way. She didn't want to make it complicated.

Katie jumped off the stage and ran up to her room area. She came down with a new stack of lyrics and climbed back onto the stage to continue studying.

"I don't know that much about this place, even though I've been here for about a month maybe. Grumbelberg doesn't mind people staying here." Ricky smiled at Gray, and asked, "What's your name? I'm Ricky." She saw Katie go off somewhere, then a moment later come back with more papers.

Noel frowned.I thought it was Mr. Johnson... Her large blue eyes blinked. Forgetting she had already introduced herself, she added. "And I'm Noel. Noel Sarner." She blinked at Katie as she came back with another stack of songs.

"Gray," she replied, smiling at the girl before watching the younger girl come back with more papers. "Nice to meet you Ricky, Noel." She sat there, trying to think for a moment, how she could use this information to help her. "How much do you pay? I haven't been able to find many audtions lately.. my next resort is just a shop, though I know that won't help me get to broadway." Gray sighed.

Gray laughed as she heard the younger girl asking about lunch. She obviously was ignoring their conversation, in which Gray was still confused, as she was clearly focused on her music, before becoming hungry. "They feed you, too? That's nice," Gray said, still wondering how she could get in on this deal.

You don't get to keep... anything?" Gray asked, looking at herself. She had only brought a few pairs of clothes that would fit in her back, still hiding in one of the seats in a far back row. She had little money, and just the basic essentials for personal care. She knew she would need some money to be able to live better than this.

"Mhmm. He lets anyone who knows how to play music live here. You don't pay now silly. After the people on the streets give you money then you pay him." Katie said.

"Music... only?" Gray hesistated a moment. The only thing she knew to do was act, and sing, a little. But play an instrument? She felt there was no hope for her in this place. "Great," she sighed.

"So... if I sing on the streets, and make enough money, Whats-his-name will let me stay here while I get auditions?" Gray asked. Her singing skills weren't terrible, but she was going to try her best.

"Yep," Katie said. She jumped off the stage and ran over to a big box in the middle of the room. She pulled out 10 dollars. "Can you bring me to get pizza?"

"We'll have to walk," Gray said, standing up to follow her. "I think theres a pizza place right down the street." Gray didn't have much money now, she knew she needed to save it for more important thing, and feeding herself was at the bottom of her list. "Do you know if there are any auditions around her... now?" She asked Katies, following her out.

"An audition?" Gray repeated, shocked that the girl, though young for her age, but still seeming a bit experianced in the entertainment department, did not know what an audition was. "Well I was hoping to audition for some plays.. hopefully make it to Broadway, you know?"
