((Would you mind checking out my new thread 'welcome to the 50's'?))

"Not your fault," Gray muttered back. It was Gray's fault. What was she supposed to do now. Now she had nothing. But tomorrow, tomorrow she would have everything, that is, everything her parents left her. She was going to have to find someone who was going to give it to her, they wouldn't know where she was, she ran away. Of course, her parents knew exactly where she had run off to, following that silly dream of her. But none of this ran through Gray's mind now. She felt like a zombie. Dead and useless.

Darren had held Ricky tighter when the lights had gone out but when she walked away he felt cold as the lights came back on Ricky walked over to Gray and they sat chatting. Darren go up on the stage and in one of the corners made a sort of next with a couple of cushions off the theatre seats and a big old blanket he made himself and Ricky a bed. Darren snuggled into the nest like contraption witch admittedly looked nothing like a bed and closed hsi eyes not totally asleep just resting his eyes, Listening to everything going on around him.

((OOC: Sorry hant been on in a whle been ROCKING OUT ON Guitar Hero 3 =P its so much fun i just completed it on easy and im briging otu the big guns im going for medium difficulty now wish me luck))

((haha nice. I have the third one too... I haven't played in a long while but I've just about gotten past medium. I love the songs on these games. They are coming out with a new one but I can't remember what its call, haha.))

Ricky blinked at Gray's response. She seemed to wanna be left alone to think, but Ricky wasn't gonna just guess that. She walked to a seat next to her and sat down. "You wanna talk about it?", She asked. (Mattj1691, how far are you from Ricky and Gray right now?)

"Sure," Gray shrugged, staring a bit off into space. Then she turned slightly towards Ricky, hoping that she could keep her tears locked up inside. It was a tough battle, not to break down. "Not sure what much there's to say, though," she said quietly, continuing to bunch up to hold herself together.

((Sorry, can't stay long tonight! ))

(Aww, how long you staying?)

"Talking about it makes that sad mood go away. It's your choice...", Ricky said to her, looking at her in the eyes to show her sincere.

((I think that was it, lol, sorry))

Gray had her doubts, but, "I suppose I could try." She sat there, unsure of where to start. She was sad, wasn't she? She took a moment to collect her thoughts, then exhaled deeply. "I just don't see the point of it anymore, you know?" She said suddenly though, keeping her eyes locked on her hands, her fingers intertwining through constantly a she moved from hugging herself, to her hands hugging each other.

Ricky nodded slowly, as she figured Gray had been discouraged. Ricky was almost always determined and had plans in mind. But this stumped her. She kept her eyes locked on her, unpurposely though, and said, "You wanna leave?"

"Not sure that I can," Gray shrugged. Sure, she could get a job, but they would always be searching her, only just a few feet away. A game of cat and mouse usually became tedious very quickly, and what would it matter when that mouse was caught and killed at some point. "There isn't much I can do," she said to Ricky. Gray knew what would happen. Tomorrow she would turn eighteen, a lawyer of some sort would find her, giving her the access to everything left in her parent's will and then, once she was alone, her uncle would do away with her, stealing all the money, that would now be his.

((OOC: my computers completely fried, im on my freinds pc atm but i will be getting the IT surport people in soonish. Darrens missing Ricky badly lol =P))

Darren noticed Ricky and Gray chatting in the corner and decided he best leave it to Ricky. as he lay down with his hands behind his head he watched Ricky and thought to himself "She's gorgeous".

Ricky had gotten herself caught in similar situations like this one. Meaning, caught in doubt and hopelessness. She smiled a bit, as she thought that maybe getting the cops involved in this helped her friend Gray. "You can have the cops protect you?", she asked hopefully.

"They'll find it ridiculous," Gray said simply. "He has connections." She knew her uncle had lots of resources he could use against Gray. It wouldn't just be a one day fight. It would be until she was dead.

"But, you don't really know until we try.", Ricky insisted. Her eyes looked pleadingly, with a hint of exhaustion. She was sleepy, and couldn't really think very well about this. She covered her mouth as a small yawn seeped out. But, she made sure it was out of earshot.

Gray shrugged. She was really unsure, but she didn't want to doubt everything. There was a one in a billion chance, but if she didn't try, there was no hope at all. "If it'll make you happy," Gray said quietly, slumping in her seat, feeling lifeless.

Ricky nodded, and smiling said, "Ok, sleep well." She looked back at Darren, and saw that he had made a slight bed. He had a blanket lying over to seats, one he was sitting at. She walked over and sat down next to him, pulling some of the blanket over her. Staring at Gray thoughtfully, she asked quietly, "Maybe I shouldn't try and make her do something she doesn't wanna." She sighed and confirmed still in a low tone, "But she can't just leave it like that." She lyed back on the seat, and turned her head in Darren's direction. Soon, she fell asleep.

It soon became morning, and Ricky was still sound asleep. Her head was lying on Darren's chest.
