Dreamcatcher galloped with Leafhoof and Frolickmane. She took in every single aspect of the territory, shoving it into her brain. "Who is his father?" Dreamcatcher asked Leafhoof curiously. He had the same coloration as Leafhoof except that Leafhoof was an appaloosa. Dreamcatcher turned her head to stare into Leafhoof's eyes. Her dark blue gaze, the same color as her pelt, searched Leafhoof's to make sure she didn't set off any unwanted emotions.

"Well I would like somebody a little older then him."Star troted up the ledge not needing guydanice for that one.She reared and whinned,she felt like the queen of the world up here.Star then hung her head sad,that really nobody liked her.She climbed down the ledge and galloped off, leaving Sandstorm in her dust.As she ran she felt the tears stinging her eyes.She soon found her way to a old oak tree,a good mile or two away from the mare.She whinned and layed down in the grass,saden by the fact that nobody liked her.The tulips bloomed with delight,while Star felt like a storm cloud shadowed her every movement.A tear roled down her cheek leaving a path.She did not even care to wipe it off.Soon another tear would roll downa nd she would lay there sobbing in her own pain.

Sandstorm,coughed in the dust when Starbright ran away.Sandstorm,couldent track her down.She hung her head,What did i say wrong,she thought to herself.What did she mean no body liked her,everybody liked Starbright.Sandstorm layed in the feild,staring at the last of Stars hoof prints she could find.She layed there a bit,sad and felt very lonely.She heard a snarl and jumped up,out of th shadows came a dark bay,red eyed stallion.with stripes down his legs barly visiable.The smell hit her in the face.Dark Blood. ""Well,well Sandstorm.Hows it going these days.""Sandstorm snorted, "What do you want Hawkfrost" He looked evil,then grined."" Oh i was just wandering how my girlfriend is doing"He walked around her. Sandstorm nudged away. He straighten up,"So have you come to your senses yet,and come back to the Dark Blood herd.I saw that dark mare you were with"" "Have you been stalking me" She questioned,He looked at her then grined, "No,not really,so are gonna come home like old times."
"That was a long time ago"She snarled. "To your correction,i did come to my senses.i came here,to the Warlord herd.Your kind wernt my type" "shhhhhh keep it down Sandy,move here so nobody knows we are talking"

Star whinned and let one last tear roll down her cheek.She got herslef together and galloped back to Sandstorm.She saw the black stallion.Of curse not knowing who he is she walked up next to sandstorm and looked at her then at the stallion.She was puzzeled.Star pushed Sandstorm away then nickered"I'm sorry about my misbehavior earlier."She nuzzeled Sandstorm then nickered"You are my best friend."Star looked at the stallion the turnedd to fac him.She stood up and straightened out she glanced at him then gently flipped her mane flirting with him.

Dreamcatcher nodded, "Well maybe you should make time for him." She suggested. As they circled their territory Dreamcatcher started recognising Warlord's smell from the other herd's smell. Warlord's was sweeter while Darkblood and Wildfire smelled rotten and dirty. She crinkled her snout and shook her head to get the Warlord's scent back.

Sandstorm smiled weakly,Starbright wasnt suppose to see Hawkfrost.Hawkfrost eyed Starbright up and down. Mountainheart dipped his head and stared at the two horses who had greeted them. "I am Mountainheart and this is my brother Coaleyes." he tried to sound as calm as possible. "We wish to join your herd." He added gazing around the landscape. It was much better than the other herds who had asked them to join and him and his brother where tired of being alone. Coaleyes had remained silent the whole time, also surveying their surroundings. "We mean no harm." Coaleyes said turning his gaze to the two. Coaleyes always came off as frightening to other horses, Mountainheart though knew his brother and never had and never will fear him.

Mountainheart dipped his head to the stallion then to the mare and trotted past them followed by Coaleyes. The picked a young patch of clover, dew clinging to them still from the morning.

Dreamcatcher trotted into camp her head high and her jet black tail streaming behind her. Then she noticed a pair of new stallions, one a bulky but elegant gray the other a muscular and tall black. She cocked her head in curiosity and turned to Leafhoof "Who are they?" she asked motioning with her head to the stallions.

As the sun came up as it did everyday, a huge orange flame colored stallion stood on a cleft.His bunch of horses grazed on the twigs and burnt stalks.He stared straight into the sun,admiring its command over the world.Stared stared across as a massive Black,red eyed stallion came from beyond the mist of the blood Dark herd.With a penatrating glare,FlamenMane jumped down from the ledge and approached the stallion."What are you doing here"Flamenmane asked with a snort and stomp."I came seeking you.we need more land,we come in search of it,or else we will take it" snarl Bloodlust.At that moment, a group of vampire looking horses slipped from the mists of the trees.FlamenMane held his feroucius gaze then snorted"Fine,if its war you want,a war youll get." All the wildfire horses stepped out and stood along side there leaders,spitting and snarling at the black,vampired horses.All were tensed to battle.Flamenmane was face to face with Bloodlust.""KILLLL!!!""yelled FlamenMane.all the horses launched out.
FlamenMane focused on Bloodlust,knowing if he was out of the way,his followers would be too.He lashed out,hearing the scream that he got Bloodlust hard.Bloodlust shot back and pinned FlamenMane to the ground.The noise of the battling horses was loud,and blood washed everywhere as horses were murdered.Flamenmane attempted to free himself but he couldent.Bloodlust pounded him with his front hooves,then opened his mouth for the final blow.FlamenMane could see 2 front teeth,that were so sharp and pointed.Bloodlust whispered,"Not so tough now.are you flamenMane.This land is mine.Sweet dreams"Bloodlust showed no mercy,he bit down on FlamenManes neck,ripping it open.Blood flooded out showing that FlamerMane was dead.Bloodlust licked the last bit of blood around his mouth before serging out into the open,leaving FlamerMane to soak in his own blood.he ran into the wave of battling horses.He stomped and reared.The fighting stoped.all eyes were on Bloodlust. "Dark Blood herd,round up the remaining WildFire horses.But dont hurt the mares or foals".The Dark blood clan did as they were told,they collected the few remaining wildfire horses and led them to the open.Bloodlust took FlamerManes place on the ledge."To all horses,today was a good day for the DarkBlood herd,We have won this battle.The WildFire herd is no more."' Waves of whinnies rose from the clan.Bloodlust continued" Now we have 3 mares and 1 foal of the wildfire herd i see.Now you guys have a choice,you can stay,be driven out,or be killed." The mares looked uneasy with each other,then looked back, "We will stay,as long as you dont hurt us" a small little mare agreed."Ok then let them go" Bloodlusts group disperced,the mares looked around then walked closer to the highledge to there new leader

Brightsun stood atop a large hill and gazed down at the horrific sight. Fiery looking horses collided with dark terrifying horses. There whinnies of rage and pain sent shivers down her spine. She debated in her head whether to help or not, but the main question was who would she help. She saw that she would fit in better with the fiery looking horses, the dark ones terrified her. She reared and whinnied loudly galloping down the hill and colliding with a smaller dark gray filly. Brightsun exposed her teeth menacingly, but it didn't seem to affect the gray filly. The filly charged at her and bit her Brightsun's neck, breaking the skin. Brightsun whipped around and bit her cheek not losing her grip as the filly bucked and tried to break free. Brightsun shook her head rapidly and sent the filly to the ground whinnying in pain. "Go!" Brightsun said coldly showing her pearly white teeth. The filly staggered up and galloped off disappearing into the trees.
