The Beast - Part 2 ( )

Postby Saarai on Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:56 pm

This demon inside,
Is changing my life,
Into something reminiscent of Jekyll and Hyde,
I can't resist the temptation,
The Beast is a new sensation,
I have very few ideas,
The ones I have all come from desperation,
I need saving,
Something to sedate the Beast's craving,
My humanity it's taking,
It wants me on the same level,
As itself and the Devil,
It wants me crazy,
The opposite of saintly,
And very shady,
I think I must resist,
But it wants me to cease and desist,
It tells me that we can coexist,
But I won't take that risk,
I'm going to take this monster to the crypt,
Knife in hand,
A few slits,
Of my wrist,
Puts an end to this.
"Are you professional moron, or just a gifted amateur?"

Lady Killer ( )

Postby Saarai on Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:51 pm

Here I am again,
Still breaking hearts daily,
Killer of ladies,
A womanizing Hades,
A lifestyle choice I won't reconsider,
My life is far from gold,
But it'll still gleam and glitter,
So women I'm stunning,
With my swagger,
And with my cunning,
I leave them lost in lust,
They love my touch,
I use abuse their trust,
I just do what I must.

The Beast - Part 3 ( )

Postby Saarai on Thu Dec 15, 2011 12:08 am

I can see the sky falling,
I can hear the angels calling,
Telling me they'll back me in the battle that's to come,
But I can already feel the heat,
It's like I'm shackled to the sun,
I hate to be the one,
To go toe to toe,
With this foe,
That I know,
So very well,
This situation,
Is not very swell,
This is so very hell,
I can't take it,
I don't think I'll make it,
I hope this is a dream,
So that I can awaken,
And find out this is a mission,
That I don't have to partake in,
The angels say, "It's not that easy."
"Believe us. Believe me."
Now I'm feeling queasy,
I couldn't surpress the side of me that was beastly,
I should've been a little more priestly,
Less selfish and greedy,
I'll take the chance,
To look to the sky,
I'll pray and then say my goodbyes,
'Cause tonight's the night,
That one of us dies,
Me or the demon inside.

You hear a shotgun's bang,
Then stay in your lane,
'Cause the guys in this gang,
Are the most insane,
They leave the men to hang,
Women and children slain,
Everyone hopes for change,
But it remains the same,
It's like this for years,
Muslim boys and girls live in fear,
You don't see their tears,
There's too much violence,
Bombs and guns,
And then just silence,
Men with heads of skin,
And hands red from sin,
Standing proud with smiles and grins,
People forced from homes,
The rest of their family gone,
So they feel all alone,
Fearing the moment they'll hear the pump,
Of the shotgun held by a grunt,
On the hunt,
For a Serbian chump,
Who's body he can dump,
Or who's head he can lump,
It's obvious they don't give fuck,
Even today people live in misery,
Because they lived through a brutal part of history,
In times like that or times like this,
There's no victory.

This is no Zombieland,
No time for the jokes,
No time for you to choke,
Let your barrel smoke,
There's still hope,
I know where there's a boat,
We can get it afloat,
And we can find a safe zone,
We can't stay home,
We've gotta go,
You've gotta know,
That there's no pot o' gold,
And no rainbow,
Darkness and them,
No telling how far that darkness extends,
We've to take a chance,
We're each others best friends,
At least until the end,
But no end's in sight,
The sun's setting,
Let's for tonight,
In the morning we'll continue the fight,
Entered the abandoned hotel,
But something doesn't feel quite right,
Could by my company,
Or the that I've been hiding my bite?
If I tell they'll surely take my life,
I'll just keep it wrapped tight.

Freak Show ( )

Postby Saarai on Fri Jan 20, 2012 8:06 pm

Come one, come all,
Everyone's allowed to see,
Follow me if you please,
Open your eyes,
They're what you won't believe,
When you enter my tent,
And bear witness to my freaks,
We have no bearded ladies,
That's far too cliche,
We have nothing but the best on display,
We have women with bones like a cat,
They twist and they bend,
But never do they crack,
A man with a large belly,
Armor of fat,
Cannonballs are nothing,
They bounce right back,
We have a woman who sees all with no sight,
But there isn't much more to that,
I just keep her here because she a nice rack,
I kid my friends,
Please take a peek,
Some of you may shriek,
But I can assure you,
You'll remember these freaks.

When I Was High ( )

Postby Saarai on Sun May 20, 2012 12:29 am

Benn a long time since I posted one of these.

Life was so much better when I was high,
When you could see the blood red in each eye,
Life was better when I was drinking,
When I was smoking,
When I wasn't thinking,
When I would hit a few raves,
And party until I could see the sun's rays,
When I go to sleep at seven in the morning,
And wake up at nine at night to start my days,
I remember the adrenaline rush,
I remember walking Hollywood like I owned,
I don't quite remember each new crush,
But I remember the serotonin,
I remember the urges,
The corner store splurges,
Don't quite remember disorderly conduct,
But it's on my record so I must've earned it,
Now I sit at home,
It's empty I'm all alone,
I want to go out with my old crew,
But they're immature and I've grown,
I mean, I have more money,
A nice house and nice clothes,
I have my writing,
My poerty and my prose,
Family who loves me,
And no powders in my nose,
I'll be honest,
I can't lie,
Life wasn't any better when I was high.

The poetry you've written is quite insightful.
How long have you been writing poetry?

Since I was maybe 11, but I didn't get serious about it until I really got into music and noticed that poetry helped me with writing songs to a degree.

Anarchy ( )

Postby Saarai on Mon May 21, 2012 6:24 am

Pure anarchy and mayhem,
From the youth of this nation,
You want to quell the rebellion,
But you made them,
They want to destroy,
It's ironic that you helped create them,
They'll take the whole city down,
And you know it,
You're scared and you can't help but show it,
Anarchy foretold by revolutionaries and poets,
Give the people back their power,
Or we'll be at your door within the hour,
All of us wearing T-shirts of Che Guevara,
We'll do whatever it takes,
To make sure you snakes,
Get a little taste,
Of your own mistakes,
Try being a single mom,
Try board a plane with name like Saddam,
Strange looks from the people,
They mutter, "I bet he's got a bomb.",
We're occupying more than parks,
Starting fires in the night,
Only way to see the anarchy after dark,
This is just for starters,
No intention of being martyrs,
Punk rock kids who mosh hard in the pit,
But in the streets they march harder,
From Watts to the Hills,
Shit's gonna real,
Gonna head out east to pillage and steal,
No time for peace,
We've had our fill,
Arrest us all,
Charge them and charge me,
The damage is done,
There's more anarchy.
