"Payment.." Ruby trailed off, just as Maisy appeared by her side. "You shouldn't of said anything, Rubs! I've got to go..can you lock up please? Thanks." Maisy hugged her and left the cafe.

Shane furrowed his eyebrows even more. "Payment?" He watched Maisy leave then looked back to Ruby. "What kind of payment? And why shouldn't you have said anything?"

"Don't worry.." Ruby took their empty cups and made her way to behind the counter. "I'll be back." She disappeared into the backroom. She appeared again and frowned. "What are you doing?"

Shane was copying the same pose as a man in a pictue hanging up on the wall. "I thought this guy looked uncomfortable then I wanted to see if this position really was uncomfortable." He fell over and chuckled. "Definitly uncomfortable."

"Let's get the hell out of here, I'm bored." He whined, standing up. He phone started ringing with the song "party in your bedroom" by Cash Cash. He pulled the phone out of his pocket and saw it was a call from his crazy stalker/ex girlfriend. "And here I thought I could get away from her." He shuddered then silenced his phone and replaced it in his pocket.

"Uh...Is everything okay?" Ruby-Mae asked, following him out of the cafe and locked it behind her, slipping the key into her pocket. "I've just got to duck into the shops..want to come?"

Shane shrugged. "Whatever, I've got nothing better to do." He sighed. "I have this crazy ex who has been stalking me for months. She has a shrine of me and asked to swab my mouth one time. Just a little too freaky for me. I wouldn't doubt it if she had some crazy voodoo "me" doll with a lock of my hair glued to it." Shane shuddered again but more violently this time. "She just won't leave me alone."

"Oh...That...sucks." Ruby beckoned for him to follow and she disappeared into the shop. Grabbing a carton of eggs, a packet of bacon and a loaf of bread, she turned to Shane. "Do you want snacks or anythin'?"

Shane shrugged. "Nah, I brought my stash from back at home." He smirked. "Why you being so nice to me all of the sudden?" He poked her side.

Ruby-Mae sighed. Stifling a giggle, she stepped away from him as he poked her. "Because. I. Have.To.Be." She sighed, and grabbed a packet of lollies, heading tothe counter. "I'm about to drive past ya house, wan't me to drop this stuff in?" Ben asked, the checkout guy. "Sure..thanks." Ruby handed over the coins then headed out of the shop and started heading home, blushing.

Shane smirked as they walked out. "Why you blushing? Do you like him?" He grinned and poked her repeatedly. "You like him don't you? Ruby likes the cashier guy." He teased.

"Shut up!" She pushed him again and hurried ahead, slipping the leftover coins back into her pocket. Ruby giggled at the poking. She was tickilish and she moved away, walking faster. "I said..shut up."

Shane hurried back to her side and poked her again. "I'm not going to shut up until you admit it." He sang as he poked her some more. "Are you ticklish Ruby? Are you?"

"I'm ticklish..so stop freakin' pokin' me." Ruby-Mae broke into a run, quickly arriving at home. "Dad? Ben's going to drop the stuff I bought around." She blushed at the mention of his name and went to sit in the small spare room, which Ruby had dubbed an "Adult Free Living Room." Slumping down on the couch she had put in there, she stared up at the roof.

Shane sighed and slowly made his way back to the house. "Mom, I'm hungry!" Krysta appeared. She frowned. "Do I look like your personal assistant?" Shane whined. "But I burn everything!" Krysta sighed and tossed Shane an apple. "Make it last, we'll be eating soon." Shane frowned at the apple. "Thanks mom." He said sarcastically as Krysta left the room.

"I thought you brought your own snacks." Ruby rolled her eyes at Shane. "No adults will come in here..if they value their life." Ruby-Mae guestuered to the sign.

Shane nodded and walked into the room. "I did bring my own snacks but my mom makes awesome sandwiches." He grinned. "What are you going to do that could endanger their life?" He chuckled. "I mean, I guess you could bite their shins." He laughed.

Ruby-Mae scowled. "Again with the short jokes. What is wrong with being short? I've been short all my life and I don't care. Being short has it advantages."

"Nothing's wrong with it, I just think it's funny." He grinned. "I never said it was bad to be short. I mean, some short people say the same about tall people like me." He laughed.
