This is going to be my first RP on the site, so sorry if I do something wrong. As a school project we have to re-write the book Same as It Never Was and I have no idea how to write it differently so I decided that I'd do an RP on it and see how people add to it. I decided that I'll be Celia, the younger sister even though I despise playing younger kids, but it's worth the practice. We'll need someone being Olivia around 20-25 years old, the father's lawyer who's around 20-30 years old and is at the house for most of the time. He obviously will end up becoming interested in Olivia like she will be in him. We can also have Olivia's college friends if you want to say they dropped out and moved in with her or something, anything really works with me but PLEASE if you are interested in being Olivia then make your skeleton detailed and long so I don't have second thoughts in accepting you.
Plot:
UCLA junior Olivia Martin detests her extended family for honoring her with an advance degree in relational cynicism. Her mother is so pathetically immature that Olivia wonders whom raised who. Her father is so bossy, she wonders if anyone else is allowed oxygen when he is around. His second wife always defers to her royal husband on anything no matter how minuscule it seems. Finally, her 9 year old half sister Celia is so girlish she serves as a reminder for why she loathes anyone who mentions the virtues of families.
However, her college haven ends when her father and his spouse die in a car crash. Though inheriting the large LA mansion is not a shock, being named guardian to prissy Celia is. While trying to avoid premature motherhood and continue with her good time lifestyle, Olivia begins to care for her. Soon Olivia begins to fall in love with the executor of her father's estate.
