*i laughed in delight and held out my hand*

no it was the ace of spade

*i turned the card over and it was the ace of spades*

i think you owe me some ore *i chuckled*

*I stay still opening one eye and inspecting then man that stood before me*

"It would seem your travels are wasted my friend, justice has already been laid upon Zora's soul. Let me guess your Snows brother? Iv seen into her memory's and found forgotten pasts. Perhaps it is best to wait a while before venturing in. I'm sure you can smell the alcohol from a mile off."

*I stand up infornt of the man and extend my hand to him*

"I am Ken Shiro i swear an oath to protect your sister from all that would stand before her"

He quickly and swiftly grabbed his bo staff that was strapped to his back and point it at Shiro. "What?!Zora's dead?!When?!Who killed him?!" He yelled. "And my sister is dead, she died alongside my parents when she was seven and her name was Keniko!"

He glared at Shiro, his light blue eyes seem to glow brightly through the shadow that his hat provided,completely ignoring the strong smell of alcohol coming from the barn. Surely this man is messing with my head. How does he even know I had a sister? He then asked Shiro curiously and lowered his staff slightly. "Who is this Snow that you speak of, surely she is not my sister."

"Gah!!! No way! You cheated!" She grabbed the card out of his hand looked at it. She couldn't really see the card very well and she threw it on the ground. "Cheater!" She quickly and swiftly threw her fist at his face but her aim was horrible, missing his head by two feet and fell down flat on her face,out cold.

*i chuckled and got, i looked at snow on the ground and grabbed some of the hay and layed it over her to create a sort of blanket*

i cheated yes but only because this is not that strong alcohol

*i took the ore and walked out of the barn juggling them happyly, as i looked up i saw a man standing in front of shiro*

hello, question my friend about snow are we? shes in the barn completely drunk and out cold on the floor. oh where are my manners the names Mitsuhide Akechi. you look lost and confused, you think shiro here is messing around dont you? well he's not.

*i chuckled and put the ore in my armour*

"Your sister has been using a different name for many years to hide the unfortunate truth surrounding her past."

*I stand up*

"If you wish to learn more i suggest you ask her yourself. As for me i believe its about time to return a spirit to its rightful place."

*I walk past Mitsuhide and continue onwards towards the temple.*

With a serious look on his face Rain walks into the barn, ignoring Mitsuhide. He approaches the young lady apparently passed out drunk with a make-shift hay blanket on top of her. He picks Snow up and throws her on his shoulder. He walks out of the barn takes 3 steps in front of Mitsuhide. Rain turns his head slightly and responds to Mitsuhide, "Do what you will, we have questions that need to be answered."

Rain proceeds to the temple about 20 feet behind Shiro.

This man has the answers I seek. Perhaps he can tell me if this truly is Keniko. I must have these answers.

*i looked surprised as they ignored me*

ok that was different

*i looked at the man who spoke and then who promptly walked after shiro*

RAIN RIGHT!? .....oh it doenst matter, go on and try and find your answers but i doubt you will find them

*i walked back into the barn and sat down next to snow and unsheathed reapers brother*

*As i come to the temple i first go to the same grave i visit every time i go to remind myself of who and what i am. I open one of the large stone doors and go inside the temple, as i sit in side the middle of the great stone room i cross my legs and close my eyes.*

"If you wish to stay then please stay quiet and dont move."

*As i begin to chant a light glow comes from my chest and slowly becomes brighter and brighter untill a blinding flash of light fills the room and the spirit leaves my body. As i lift myself up a the ghostly figure of Snows mother stood before me*

mother; "Thank you Ken this favour will not be forgotten soon."

*I stand up*

"Untill me meet again."

Rain approaches the temple doors when a blinding light shines through. "I'll leave you here Keniko." He lays Snow down just outside the temple doors. He wonders why Mitsuhide didn't follow but thinks to himself, I guess Mitsuhide found someone else to play with

As Rain walks into the temple he sees Shiro sitting. He walks to the shrine and lights an incense candle. He kneels at Shiro's side and asks, "I left Snow at the door. What do I need to know about my family? How am I connected to this Snow? Perhaps you will tell me, or it may be revealed in time. Whatever the case may be, I shall meditate until morning. My travels are long and tiring."

Rain bows to Shiro and then turns back to the shrine. He falls into a deep meditation and awaits the morning...

-Morning-

Snow woke up,yawn then press her hand to her head. "I am never going to drink again." She stood up and stretch. "Today is the day we leave this place. Let's began our travel!" She looked behind her and notice that she was standing in front of a temple. She could sense Shiro's energy and another strange energy. "Who else could be in the temple with Shiro?" she whisper to herself as she entered the temple.

She quickly spotted Shiro and another man meditating beside him. She walked and kneel beside Shiro,placing Shiro between herself and the stranger. She glanced at the stranger then looked down. There is something about that man. Something familiar about him. She shift her weight uncomfortably,hoping that the stranger had nothing to do with her.

*I slightly leaned over towards Snow and whispered*

"Perhaps you can find the answers your looking for if you try meditating on them, just find a comfortable position, close your eyes and clear your mind. Let all the feelings and thoughts in your body leave you, if you can keep your body and mind in this state then you will being to piece everything together."

Snow nod and sat with her legs cross and let out a deep sigh. She closed her eyes and let all her feelings and thoughts drift from her mind. She could see flashes of her memories now. Her mother,her father,and...a boy? The image disappeared and another reappeared,this time she saw her father leaning over her mother,her mother was holding a baby in her hand. Snow knew right away that the baby was her but next to the baby was the same boy. Snow focused hard on trying to get the boy's face but the image once again disappeared and another appeared this time she could see the boy's face. He was smiling at her and his mouth moved but no sounds came out.

The image faded and a word...no,a name,that was hidden in the back of her mind seem to echo in her thoughts. ...Takashi...Takashi....Takashi... She quickly open her eyes and glanced at the man beside her and whispered to herself. "He can't be and if he is-" She quickly stood up and unsheathe one of her swords and charged at the man, grabbing his shirt in one hand and pinned him against the temple wall causing the wall to crack on impact, then with her other hand she put her blade to his throat. "You left us! You left us to die didn't you! If you are truly my brother than prove it! Prove it!" Her eyes burned with anger and confusion as she looked into the man's eyes. "If you are truly my brother...then what is my name?"

He lift his head up slightly ,so he could look her in the eye. He breath gently on her face,blowing the hair out of Snow's face to reveal the face of his little sister that he lost 14 years ago. "Keniko,is really is you. I never left you,father sent me away when you was still an infant to began my training with the monks. When news reach the monastery, i ran as fast as i could to the village but was too late. I saw the heads of our family on post in front of the village and from that point point on i vowed to avenge our family,Keniko."

When she heard the name reach her ears, she release the man and took a couple of steps back,looking down at the floor as she listened to his side of the story. "I..how..." She had so many questions to ask but she shook her head and brushed pass Shiro. "I try to forget everything link to my past but something always has to come,huh?" she asked harshly. Just as she was about to exit the temple she stopped and turn her head slightly but not enough to look at the man.

"I have already killed Zora....Takashi." She left the temple and stormed to the well,pulling up the bucket and drinking a scoop of water hoping that it would calm her down. When it didn't she walked into the barn and sat down on a pile of hay and scowled. She closed her eyes and put her hand to her necklace. "Why didn't anyone tell me.' she whispered to herself. "Why?"

*I stand up and look over at Takashi*

"No matter the surroundings or circumstances her reaction would have been the same, id suggest you go to her and talk. She will still be confused and scared, she had managed to completely block you as well as many other people from complete memory. Perhaps you should help her bring back some of her more enjoyable memories she has hid away, maybe when you were children."

*I walked outside and towards the barn, i didn't go inside i stood in front and leaned against the barn next to the door.*

Rain followed Shiro but didn't go into the barn,instead he stood next to Shiro. "She never had any enjoyable memories at least not that i am aware of. Our father sent me away when she was an infant, she barely has any memories of me." He turned and face Shiro extending his hand. "I'm glad she ended up with you and Mitsuhide. You two seem to have taken good are of her."

*I grab Rains hand and shake it*

"Myself and Mitsuhide have done what we can, there's very little we can show her that she hasn't all ready seen or done herself. i believe it only to be right for you to be with her now. Im not sure what Mitsuhide will do, but swore an oath to her and unless she wishes i will not leave her side."

Rain smiled softly. "Thank you, i appreciate everything you have done. I might teach Keniko a few moves....that is if she willing to let me teach her." He let out a frustrated sigh and leaned against the barn. "This is going to be my greatest challenge yet,huh? How am i suppose to talk to my sister if she doesn't want to have anything to do with me?" He lowered his head,letting his straw hat provide shade over his eyes. "She's probably really mad at me right now."

"You should let her decide how she is feeling, right now she has to make her own mind up about what to think before anyone else can begin to guess. At the end of the day all she can do is appreciate that you have come back and that you are both in good health, you are after all her brother. You should be grateful that your sibling doesn't hate you, maybe after hearing about another expearience you can appreciate your situation."
