Clara walked with Megumi to the reception desk. The old woman was still sitting on her chair, reminding Clara of an plump elf sitting on a mushroom.
With a slight laugh to herself, she shuffled her feet, dancing to a song that was in her head.
When Megumi got her schedule and dorm key Clara didn't want to seem nosy, so she stood opposite, waiting to see if Megumi was in the same room as her, or a room close.

Keara raised an eyebrow slightly at Bella before nodding, "You go i think i might go back to the room, sortout my stuff whilst everything is quiet...see ya later" she turned on her heel, lightly pushing the door, making it swing open smoothly before dissappearing into the slightly cooler building up the stairs and back into their room, sitting on the bed for a moment before slowly emptying her bag and putting it all into draws, eventually frowning as she lifted a tanzanite necklace from her bag.

Seraphina gave up on the idea of looking around the school, rather put off after she got lost three times and almost got decapitated by a plate (a guy was practising his magical skills before class). And so after she decided she would rather not be headless, or lost she returned back to her room, to try and get ready for her classes.

As she entered her room, she gave a sigh, seeing the other bed still un occupied 'Maybe daddy dearest pulled a few strings s I would get the room to myself, in the hopes it would stop me from partying. Ha! Fat chance.' She thought to herself as she lugged one of her heavy suitcases onto her bed to unpack, thinking about when her classes would start.

Riley heaved a large suitcase up what seemed to be an endless staircase. 'Stupid school can't have an elevator put in...' she thought to herself. It was taking all of her concentration not to fall over backward as she had a hefty backpack on as well.

When she finally made it to the top of the stairs, she counted off rooms...204...206..208...210!

She entered the room and was surprised to see there was already another girl setting up her stuff. 'so much for getting my own room...' The girl was short...really short compared to Riley who stood at 5'7. She had long black hair and green eyes.

"Guess I'm your new roomate," she said in a cheerful voice. Riley wasn't all too happy though. She was exhausted and she didn't want to go through the process of setting her stuff up. "I'm Riley Pruett."

Seraphina looked up in surprise at the girl who entered the room and introduced herself as Riley, she eyed her, tilted her head and decided she liked the look of the girl.

"I'm Seraphina." She smiled to the girl, deciding not to be difficult, and to try and make a friend instead of an enemy.

"So, why are you here? Your parents want to get rid of you, or they're scared of you?" She asked and continued to unpack her incredibly expensive clothes. Setting them down gently on the bed, so they didn't crease and sorting them into neat piles of skirts, dresses, shirts, underwear etc. Once this task was done she looked up, expecting her answer.

"Uh...neither actually," Riley said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Uh I ive with my half brother and he thought it would be better if I went to a school with others like me." She tossed her bag onto her bed and unzipped it and began unpacking into the drawers by her bed. "What about you?"

Seraphina gazed at her clothes sadly, "Father wanted to 'straighten' me out. Basically he was fed up with all the trouble I cause him so he sent me to boarding school." She said bitterly, putting her clothes on hangers and then placing them in her wardrobe, she then gave an un-lady like snort "Little does he know I put itching powder in his underwear draw. And dipped his comb in bleach. His hair will either fall out or go blonde. A little thank you present." She giggled to herself while moving back to the bed with more clothes hangers.

"What are you?" She asked sniffing the air slightly, "Well, you aren't a vamp... or a wolf... angel? Nope. Hmm you're a human. So what can you do?"

Riley wasn't sure exactly how to repsond. She hadn't expected the girl's answer to be so personal. To her luck, the girl quickly changed the subject.

Riley flicked her wrist so it was facing palm up and a small ball of water hovered above it, "I'm aquakinetic, I can control water." She hoped her statement didn't sound braggy, but she was very proud of her gift.

"Wow, would ya look at that. Pretty cool. Looks like they put us in a room for a reason." She smiled, held up her palm and created a ball of fire, hovering and swirling above her palm. "Either that or they want me to eat you." Smiling once more, showing the slightest hint of her fangs.

Riley laughed nervuosly as she let the water dissipate back into the air. She turned back to her suitcase and continued unpacking. Her new roomate was making her slightly nervous.

After making her bed she plopped down on the plush comforter and pulled out her cell phone. Her half brother had texted her over an hour ago and she finally decided to text him back:

'Just moved in, this place is...weird.'

Seraphina smiled to herself, hearing her room mates heart beat get a bit faster, and shook her head slightly, rolling her eyes, "Humans" She muttered to herself, she then moved to put some dresses into the small wardrobe. "Not enough room." She uttered to herself, looking to the remaining two cases with sorrow, frowning slightly, trying to figure out how to store her clothing. She shrugged, deciding to do it later and grabbed the large make-up case, and started to set the pricy items up on her chest of draws. She looked up to Riley and saw the girl texting on her phone. "You texting anyone important? Boyfriend? That brother you mentioned?" She askeed raising and eyebrow in question.

Riley tried not to laugh at the boyfriend remark, "yeah it's my brother. He's worried about me," she said trailing off. "He thinks I'm going to get eaten alive here...at least he thinks that after I mentioned there's vampires and werewolves that I'll be sharing a class with." Riley laughed. "But I'm sure there's a strict 'no feeding off the humans' rule, right?"

"I'm sure there is some kind of rule. But don't worry, I won't be feeding off you, I haven't ever tasted human blood and I don't intend to now. Besides, if they do try I'll rip 'em to shreds." She told Riley, returning to her make-up.

"And why do you find the boyfriend concept so ridiculous? You're a beautiful girl, I'm sure you'd have the boy's lining up to get a date with you." She said idly, studying the bottom of a lipstick intently, before throwing it into the bin, and picking up a bottle of foundation.

"I don't think it's fair to date someone when you can't be completely honest with them," Riley said sitting up and draping her arms over her knees. "I couldn't ever bring myself to get close to anyone knowing that I am...what I am. Guess, it just seemed selfish and dangerous. No one back home knows about me except my half brother."

"Hmm. I suppose so.I never really thought about it like that. But surely you must get fed up. I know I sure as hell would. No boys, well that wouldn't last long with me." She laughed to herself quietly, zipping up the make-up case and returning to her open suitcase, pulling out some underwear and putting it away in the drawers

"It gets lonely..watching all your friends go off to prom with their dates while you stay home and fill the bathtub without ever turning the faucet on..." she chuckled to herself. "But, I don't know, maybe that will all change this year. I mean, everyone here is just like me...to some extent."

"Aww. Poor you, and your right. I'm sure theres some dude here who could know your secret and breathe under water or what ever. I don't think I can be bothered with guy anymore. Ah well, at least one of us will be getting some boy action." Seraphina winked to he other girl, smiling widely.

"So what subjects are you gonna take? And I mean when do the classes even start?"

"I heard they start monday," Riley answered. "I'm still considered part of the human categorie so they won't let me take a lot of the classes here. I'm in fourth period ocmbat class and fifth period Elemental Telekinetic. I hear for labs you have to give a demonstration in front of the class...that could be dangerous."

"Well I guess the good thing is that you don't have to take too many classes. I now suddenly wish I were human. Are you taking art, music or drama? I am. Thank god. They're the one thing I can do! And Yay! I'm taking combat too. What do you mean lab demonstrations could be dangerous? You gonna drown the frogs or something?" Seraphina asked the rather mysterious looking Riley.

"Well..." Riley caught herself. She almost said it. "No I just mean, not eveyone has control over their powers yet...or maybe that's just me." Riley laughed nervously. "Hey, is the cafeteria open yet? I'm starving!"
