It's summer so they are on break except for those who are looking to get ahead in their studies.

Amalie took a deep breathe. That's what her mother had told her. Take deep breathes. She let it out. The castle was huge. A monster itself that loomed above her. Its door was opened already. As she passed through it she lifted her eyes. The doorway had to be at least three times her height. Students were running around. It was hard to tell their ages.
"Ages: 16-23" that's what the acceptance letter had said. Most of these people looked younger but the occasional witch of warlock who'd used too much magic too early in their life looked ancient. Another deep breathe. Amalie hitched her duffel bag over her shoulder and headed up one of the various staircases that had a sign that read, "Wing C." Her room number was supposed to be #22
Once she'd actually entered the room she'd fallen in love. It was painted navy blue with a light blue ceiling. The bathroom was painted in a similar scheme. Two twin beds sat on each side of the room and a velvet curtain stood by waiting to seperate them. She chose the bed closest to the window and laid down on it while exhaling, waiting for her room mate.

I see someone in one of the dorms, and I walk into her room.

"Hey," I say to her. "I can't find anyone here... and I can't find my room. Is it ok if I chill her for a little?" I hold my breath silently, hoping that this girl isn't a snob or anything.

Amalie could smell someone outside of her room...but then they were in her room.
It was a boy who had a slightly rugged look to him.
"Of course, I'm new as well...Amalie, by the way." She jerked her head towards the red armchair across from her bed. "I'm waiting for my room mate but I'll be glad to help you find your room as soon as she's here." She smiled briefly at him before pulling her duffel bag closer to her and fishing out some things so she could begin unpacking. "Has all of your stuff arrived? I sent a trunk, my guitar, and a few other things to the school and they haven't been delivered yet..." She was babbling but talking like this made her more comfortable around strangers.

Annalise gasped at the sight of the looming castle that lay ahead.
Am I at the right place? She thought as she flew curiously towards the large doorway. Her question was answered by the sight of different creatures entering the building. Sighing, she managed to fly through the closing door as the last of the crowd came through.
She was expecting this, by the forewarning of the letter stating that pixies weren't the only race the lay the foundation of this school.
Anna was still grateful it was still summer. She hated learning. All the more time to relax! She almost laughed for joy, but stopped herself before she got strange looks.

Annalise didn't exactly want to find her room at that moment. Just standing in the doorway would make her feel dragged towards the start. I'll save that for later. Hopefully WAY later. Instead, flew over to one of the windows and sat on the ledge, staring blankly at the horizon.

Ken sat next to The girl on her bed.
"Sorry to barge in on you. I.. I don't realy know anybody who isn't ..human." I look up at her.

"Human?" Amalie sniffed the hair quickly. "Ah...How did you come to be here then? You're required to have powers to attend...aren't you?" The smell was odd...overall humans smelled unappealing to her but it was mixed with werewolf. How was that possible? And what were his powers? If in fact, he had none he would be defenseless in a fight...The whole time she thought about this she kept a half smile on her face waiting for him to answer.

Dark eyes walked around she was looking for someone she knew or maybe just anyone at all she stopped for a second an listened...

Ken looked a little downcast. "I, uh, I grew up with only humans... Other than the superintendent of the school, you're the first non-human I've ever met." He looked at her, waiting for her reaction.

Amalie quirked one of her eyebrows,"Wow...I don't think I'd have the tolerance for that. I'm a mix as well. Half pixie half werewolf. Of course I can keep my wings hidden so it's not as obvious...But you still haven't told me if you have human blood in you..."

"I'm half human," I say slowly. "That's ok, right?" I tense up, hoping that it IS ok...

"Who am I to judge?" she shrugged. "I see nothing wrong with it but...Of course I don't. I'm half werewolf as well and to judge you would to judge a brother. We may even run in the same pack...if you in fact do run. "She peered around him, "Since it doesn't look like my room mate intends to show up soon do you want to go? I can just leave her a note."

"Running?" I ask her, a little afraid. "I- I've never realy been 'running' like, as a wolf, in a group..." I feel nervousness sweep over me.

"Oh..." She bit her lip a bit, "It's just another way of saying being a part of a pack. Like with an alpha and a beta. All that." She was a little surprised that he'd never heard of any of this. Then she remembered. Raised by humans. "Do you...er phase...at all?"

"I can... I don't know if it is different thanhow you change." I look at her face.
"Should I show you?" I ask Her. I stand up, mentaly preparing myself to change.

The windowsill was getting quite uncomfortable.
Annalise decided to explore the rest of the school grounds. People loomed over her as she flew by them silently. Funny though, how she felt miles high above the ground.
Looking around, Anna felt out of place. It seemed there was more half-breeds than pure. She looked down at her pale blue hands and hovered in spot. I have to get used to this then. She thought to herself as someone brushed by, knocking her over.
The blow wasn't that huge, but Anna's petite figure couldn't take that much.She brushed herself off then jumped back into the air.
'Hello?' Her tiny voice carried. No one heard, making Annalise feeling a bit angered. 'HEllO? She said more roughly and louder. She desperately wanted to meet some new people, curious to see how it may work out.

((OOC: I'm trying to keep my posts long but it's hard when you don't post much...in the forum where I came from you had to have a least eight sentences for a post to be considered "legal...It kinda irks me when I can't do that.))
