Sparks flew as the two swords collided once more in a fury of slashes. The Young Warrior flipped back after receiving a painful cut along his chest. He looked down to see the blood pouring out slowly.
It seemed that he couldn't land a single blow on X, he was too fast and the Young Warrior was getting a little winded from what seemed to be a year of fighting but truthfully was only a hour. He looked up at X who was smiling and becoming extremely cocky.
"I knew you wouldn't be a challenge to me, you're weak, pathetic and don't have the testicular fortitude to defeat me," X said laughing as he looked down at the Young Warrior who wiped blood from his lip. His eyes became slits and he looked up at X.
"I guarantee you by the end of this battle, only one of us will live and the other will lay defeated upon the ground, I only pray that the gods have mercy on your soul X," the Young Warrior said as he lifted himself up and dusted himself off. He picked his sword up and prepared for the final blow to be struck.
Clashing of metal could once again be heard, but this time it was X who sustained lacerations to his chest and back. X became furious, he had thought this match was over but the Young Warrior proved to have strength beyond measure, a fighting spirit that X had never encountered until now. X stood up slowly and smirked, "I underestimated you," He said softly, "you're capable of more than I thought, but don't let that cloud your head, I'm still better." He charged, holding his sword in a counter position. The Young Warrior dodged the oncoming slash and attempted to deliver his own but X blocked it and sparks flew off the two blades upon collision.
The Young Warrior flipped away and landed a few feet away from X, who twirled his sword and took a stance. The Young Warrior took a stance and looked into the very soul of X. Dark and damp, destructive and chaotic, a soul he never wanted to experience. He held his sword above his head as he waited for X to move. IT seemed that each was waiting on the other to move as lightening streaked across the sky and struck all around them.
The Young Warrior burst into a dash just as X had. As each got closer and closer to the other, their eyes filled with determination. Fire wrapped around the Young Warriors blade and a flash of Auroni came to his mind as the last slash was made. There was a shower of sparks and blood splatted against the ground, lightening striking just as the final slash was made.
The two stood their backs to one another. A deep laceration came across the Young Warriors arm and stomach but X didn't move, he shuddered and attempted to talk, "Y-y-y-you W-w-win," He said before falling over dead, blood spewing from his midriff. He gasped and closed his eyes one last time. The Young Warrior, now holding his midriff, walked over after sheathing his blade and looked down at X. He closed his eyes and said a quick prayer as the body burst into flames becoming ashes in mere seconds. The ground absorbed the ashes and no sign of X could be detected anymore.
The walk way to the Celestial Falls where revealed and the Young Warrior sighed and walked up the walk way until he stood atop the Celestial Falls looking down.
A great Emperor Dragon streamed from the clouds and appeared before him. It's voice was dynamic and booming as it glared at the Young Warrior.
"I am Auroni, Guardian of Fire, Ruler of the Celestial Realm. You have come thus far and proved yourself to be the carrier of the fire spirit. As such, you shall now gain me as your spirit guardian, along with all the power I possess. You are truly a warrior unlike any other that I have seen and you will only grow from this point on, but be careful, there are others from other realms who will challenge you in an attempt to claim what is yours, you must be ever ready and ever present to deter them from achieving said goal." Auroni began glowing a bright crimson aura that glowed in tune with the Young Warrior's own Crimson Aura.
"You have tapped into your dragon instincts, you wolf instincts, your demon instincts, and overcame your own instincts, you are now ready for the gift of which I shall bestow, use it wisely Young Warrior," Auroni said as he thrust himself into the Young Warrior.
Static electricity burst out of the Young Warrior, then flames engulfed him. His sword became more crimson in color and became more defined and deadly. His entire appearance changed as he stood there, a soft glow about his eyes as he overlooked the land below the falls.
His hair had become as white as snow, representing white fire. His garments become more fluid like flickering fire and his scars had healed completely. His facial features had changed drastically, one would not be able to identify him on his return. He held his sword in his hand and twirled it before it was engulfed in flames. He smirked and watched as the flames died down to revealed a glowing crimson red. The jewel at the end of the hilt glowed several times before settling.
He sighed and closed his eyes as he sheathed the sword and placed it on his back. It was not time yet to venture back, but soon, soon he would venture back and do what he had promised.
