“They said all teenagers scare the living shit out of me…They could care less as long as someone’ll bleed…” they all shouted as the drove down the empty road towards their destination. Jessy of course took the wheel as she hated others driving her van, tapping her hands to the beat on the wheel as her friends all screamed out their lungs. “So darken your clothes or strike a violent pose…Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me..” She laughed as she brushed her hair back out of her face. Occasionally Jessy reached her hand out the window and reached to the roof to check that their boards were still safely strapped in. All of them were already wearing their bikinis so that as soon as they arrive they could go for a swim. Samantha was seating in the passenger seat and every time a car passed them she stuck out her head screaming at them. Jessy would be the one who had to help her pull her head back in the car.

Finally they arrived, seeing many of their schoolmates walking around the town, it was funny how most adults would leave this place during except of course those who work here or are store owners. Jessy drove slowly along the beach as they tried to find their house. “Number 29..here it is,” Nicole pointed to the two story house, which had a large veranda facing the beach. “It looks awesome…” they all kind of laughed as Jessy parked the van and hopped out, everyone following quickly. “Last one in is a rotten egg,” she heard Nicole say who had already grabbed her board and was half way down the steps to the beach. Jessy just smiled as everyone rushed to grab their boards. She grabbed hers once everyone was already gone and sprinted down after them. The sun was shining bright, not a cloud in sight it was the perfect weather for a swim. Once she got to the sand she stripped off like her friends as they ran towards the water and divide in.

Andrew strolled along the beach, enjoying the sun's rays. It was nice to get away from his family..he was lucky that they didn't have enough
room in their cabin for himself, so they got him a seperate cabin all to himself. He smiled, watching the waves crash calmly. They washed
up on shore, and then went back out again, this continued in a beautiful pattern. Some people were in the water, having the time of their
lives. Andrew always felt it intresting that some things in this world were too beautiful to describe. As much as he tried to express it,
wether it was music, writing, or drawing or painting, he could never quite..find the key expression. It made him smile though.

Cabins were lined up on the side of the beach. "Here we are.." He said softly. "Cabin..30"

alice was used to driving the camper, she HAD been using it as a second home to escape her mothers house for as long as she had been able to drive, but it seemed as though today might be its final day. en route to 'the south", the camper had blown a flat, followed by an il leak, and now the plumbing was backed up, and to top it all off, she was stranded in the middle of nowhere where almost all the houses looked like cabins.
"ugggghh!!! i hate you!" she said as she kicked the wheel of the camper van. pop.
she jumped back startled as the camper wobbled for a moment before the wheel gave out. she was on a back street which her GPS system had gotten her lost on, and though she knew she was in the south, she had no idea how she was going to make it if she was stranded on this road.
so she resorted to what she thought shed never do. ''ah crap." she said as she stuck her thumb out. a hitch hiker, thats all she could be for the moment.

Henk had woken up in the loft of his warehouse and did some deep thinking. Well i am glad that i graduated early and damn what a nice graduation present this was thought Henk, looking around the loft. Henk looked out the window and saw the beautiful ocean, and thought why would anyone build a warehouse in a place such as this. His parents were wealthy people and for graduation his parents had signed over the dingy warehouse and given him fifty thousand to fix it up, that was three months ago. When he had gotten there, the warehouse was full of junk and old cars, he sold most of it and threw away the rest. With the fifty grand Henk had transformed the warehouse into a party machine. Henk had held three raves in the last week, and what good raves they were.

Henk had finally decided to get out of bed and walk downstairs to see what he would have to clean up. Surprisingly there wasn't that much mess he cleaned everything and replaced his sound system where it was supposed to be, last nights rave had been hosted by one of his friends and Henk really didn't know what he was getting into, but it was a lot of fun.

Henk was excited later that week he was supposed to have Rotterdam Terror Corps dj'ing with Angerfist that rave would be crazy. Henk put on the recordings of last night and pumped it up, sure he has gotten noise complaints but who would care it was still day time. Henk grinned as he remembered that all the stuck up adults would be leaving, meaning no more noise complaints, it was summer after all. Luckily for Henk he had made friends with the local police, so they no longer cared, he had provided a safe environment for most of the teens in the town.

Henk had found a bottle of rum in his fridge and walked up to the recently added porch and brought out with him the bottle and a two liter of coke. Maybe he would call over some friends and hold a party tonight. Henk had to check on how much money he had made last night it was a five dollar buy in last night and there were at least two hundred plus people last night. Henk quickly mixed himself a drink and left it there going to grab the money that he made last night. When Henk got back he quickly started counting the money and came up with $1210. Henk pulled out his phone and made a few calls telling his friends to say there would be a party after this he had gotten bored so he grabbed his surf board and walked down the beach.

Henk dived into the water with his board, and paddled out. After shredding a few waves Henk looked up and saw that a van had parked and women were jumping out of it and grabbing surf boards. Maybe he would invite them to the party later that night. Flipping up his hair he patiently waited for them to paddle out to where he was.

it had been more than an hour since her camper had broken down, and after getting all her stuff shoved into duffel bags, and grabbing her cat, alice gave up hope of finding a ride, and she wasnt just going to sit there and do nothing. she grabbed all her stuff and began too walk. it couldnt be that far from civilization, right? there were woods everywhere, and even though it seemed she was stranded in an endless forest, she could somehow hear the ocean somewhere. she was on a back road deep into the woods so she shouldnt have been able to hear it unless she was somewhere very close to civilization, which caused her to smile a little bit and to actually step back and enjoy nature.

when she exited the forest she still had a ways to walk, passing cottage after cottage before she got to one that said "open" on the door. a letter was attached to cabin 24 she checked the words, and the first thing she noticed was her mothers handwriting.
"great," she muttered, "shes followed me here!?" her good mood rapidly fled her, but instead the note replenished her excitement.
"my dearest alice," it started out. "i had a feeling you'd be needing this place. no thanks neccesary. your mom."
she checked under the matt where her mother always hid the key. the cabin was right on the beach and was a pretty decent looking structure.

speaking of the beach though, she unlocked the door and slipped on her bathing suit. she grabbed her surfboard (her guilty pleasure even though she wouldnt let her other friends know that, EVER.). as she hit the water she noticed another boy surfing, and a bunch of surfers hopping out of a blue van. for a moment she actually was about to go say hi to them.

Hari sat on the sand and watched the surfers let their hairs down. They all seemed to be having so much fun. As a kid, she'd enjoyed body boarding, but never could get the hang of surfing really. She didn't even have a board anymore, so instead she sat next to the steps, the only natural shade she could find, and admired the view. She considered going back to the house and fetching her painting things back, but it seemed a long walk and she was happy just to appreciate her surroundings. Commit it to memory, and paint it later. The drive down had seemed shorter without her parents, but it felt further away from the city because she hadn't got anyone with her. No doubt most of her school would be coming down though, so it wouldn't be long before she found someone she knew.

Alice was in the middle of a wave, the world crashing down around her. everyone in the background, all the noise, all the happy excited squeals, even the girl simply sitting on the steps who looked like she might be a suitable friend faded away. a tall wave began to rise, and more excitement came from the beach as someone shouted out 'look at the size of THAT!" and insid ewas alice. she was completely given over to the wave, she could feel her board movig through it, surfing over it, and she felt as though she could fly. she oved the feeling she got when she surfed, and she wished the wave would never end, but like all good things it eventually did, and she came out the other side as it finally died down.

she paddled to shore where she had left her things. the girl on the steps was sitting next to her things, and alice wasnt about to leave them there, so she decided she might as well make the best of the stuation.
"hey." she said casually to the girl while ringing out her hair.
"so much for all the hairspray." she thought to herself as she rung the wet trands of what only minutes ago was perfectly styled hair.

He didn't want to unpack just yet. He wanted to stay out a little longer. He placed his things inside the cabin, and came back out to the ocean. As Andrew stood on the sand, he looked around. A little far ahead, he saw one of his classmates. He was very faint with names, mainly because he really wasn't friends with everyone, but he was pretty sure her name was Harriet. She was lying on the sand, probably doing the same thing he was, which was just enjoying the beach.
He was pretty sure that some others from his school were here too..hopefully, he wouldn't make a fool of himself.

"Yeah I guess. The things you do to sure I guess," Harri replied. Obviously she was guessing. On a day when everyone else was enjoying the waves she looked like a loner sitting and watching. That was the way she liked things, but most people found that hard to believe. "So, I'm Hari." She said with a smile. She didn't know what else to say. She'd never seen this girl before at school, but was sure they were in the same year. Was it possible that she'd been at the same school all this time and never noticed?

"Alice, nice to meet you." alice said kindof giving up on trying to save her mangled wet hair and instead flipping her black locks behind ther back. "whats up?" she said grabbing her towel because it was already starting to cool a little bit.
The rest of the surfers were still piling out of the van, so many people were crammed in there it looked like a clown car, and the boy walking towards them this way. he looked pretty decent as well, so hopefully this summer break wouldnt suck as much as she'd thought, being bored and friendless in a very large teenage party area was not a fun thing to be.

The huge windows let in the bright sunlight, and Emma cracked a smile. She was happy that the first day for her to arrive Down South, the weather was holding up and beautiful. The bus she was riding was filled with other teens like her, the ones that didn't have cars, or didn't want to bring them. "Ready to party?" One of her best guy friends hooked his arm over the back of the seat next to her, grinning like a madman. Emma rolled her eyes at him, and started to gather her stuff as the bus began to slow down. Of course she was ready to party. Four years in an institution was enough to drive someone up the wall, and the next few weeks would be the release everyone needed.
As the bus pulled away, Emma swung her duffels across her shoulders and led a small group of people down a street, and up to a good-sized house on stilts. Her family spent nearly every summer Down South so they figured they might as well get a nice house.
"Mi casa es su casa! You guys can chill here for a while until you figure out where you're staying." She threw her bags into the nearest bedroom and went to the kitchen to see what was still good.
An hour or so later, Emma walked the five minute walk from the house to the beach, carrying with her a towel and a sketchbook with some pencils. She walked a little bit down from the kids surfing, and set down her towel. She picked up a pencil and chewed on it a little before starting to sketch the ocean before her.

If there was anything Alix liked about the summertime, it was the freedom that came along with it. She could spend the whole day at the beach bothering people to no end, and her parents wouldn't even care. There was something about this summer though- something that made it even better than all the others. Perhaps it had something to due with the fact that college was coming up next year. This was the last summer she was going to spend in this boring town, and she was going to live it up. Surprisingly, her parents even gave her the keys to her great-grandmother's old beach house. Talk about being rewarded. She could throw all the parties she wanted without the thought of her parents coming to check in on the place.

The house was already party-prepped. All the antiques and fragile things were locked in the attic, and Alix had bought all the party supplies in bulk. If she was forgetting anything, she'd get it later. Right now she just wanted to chill at the beach.

She dug her bare feet deeper into the warm sand and smiled. The beach seemed a little more packed than usual. Alix recognized several people from her school. Seems like Down South is more packed this summer than usual, she thought as she put her headphones on. She never sunbathed without her music.

During an hour's time, Andrew had unpacked finally. He set up his cabin, and once again headed out to the beach, this time with his minature canvas. He sat down on the warm sand and smiled a bit. His gaze was turned onto a certain spot in the sand. It seemed as if it was being moved from under. He leaned in closer..
A hermit crab. It climbed out of the sand, and looked at him with beady little black eyes. Andrew laughed. He picked it up, and it scuddled across his hand, and then he put it down. "Bye, little guy" He said as it ran away. He looked up. Not many people were out this time. But in a short distance, there was a girl. It was Emma. He had seen her around in his Art class and knew who she was, but never actually got to talk to her.
It appeared she was sketching something. He looked down at his own sketchpad. "Well..great minds think alike" He smiled. With a surge of confidence to actually attempt to talk to someone, he walked over to her.
"Excuse me, i couldn't help but notice you. Do we go to the same school?"

In a short time, Emma had managed to sketch a great deal of the landscape, adding a crashing wave and the start of a pair of feet dug into the sand. She had always been a quick artist, getting assignments done the fastest in her art class back at school.
She reminisced a little about school, thinking of the friends she would leave behind by moving away, and was more than a little surprised when she heard a voice ask her a question.
"Ah! Oh!" She exclaimed, after seeing the face of the person talking to her. She remembered seeing him somewhere around school, one of those kids that you knew were in your classes but never really talked to. "I'm pretty sure we do..I've seen you around." She smiled at first, but her face slowly turned to a puzzled expression. "I know your name, I swear I do. It starts with an 'A'...hmm.." She trailed off, stroking her chin in the overuse 'thinking' pose. "Aaron? No. Archie? Nope. Hmm...ah, Andrew!" Emma grinned, finally remembering his name. "We've had Art together!"

Alice didnt really wait for a reply. This girl was obviously not one who enjoyed being bothered by small talk, and alice herself knowing full well how much she hated it when people she didnt want to talked to her, decided it was better to just leave while she could.
"Hey, well i gotta start heading back to my cabin..." she said grabbing her stuff and her board, and heading away from hari. "See ya around!" she said.
She really did actually need to get back. She had to feed her cat, and had a bunch of primping to do before whenever this big party, which was suppossed to be coming up at a local warehouse/ rave club, was. She looked out at the beach, the sun high in the sky, the surfers enjoying their rides as though they had never ridden waves before. They weaved in and out of gigantic blue rolls of ocean, the whole scene painting a picture. Everyone looked so happy.
Alice saw the surfers on the water, she saw the people just sitting on the beach happy to be there, and she even saw some of the loners hitting it off. She saw people from her school, art classes and people she had never really talked to before, but she was sure she knew.
"Perhaps," she thought to herself, "This wont be such a bad place afterall." and she stood there for a minute surrounded by the simplexity of it all.

Andrew smiled. "Yeah! Well, how are you?" He asked. "I never really seem to, well, TALK to you" He laughed nervously.
'Wow way to be lame, Andrew. This is why you have no friends.' he thought. "I'm assuming your vacationing here for a while?" He said. Andrew looked over at Emma's drawing. She had already drew a very detailed picture of the ocean. "Wow, your really good" He said softly. There were a few people in his art class that exceeded expectations; Emma was probably one of those people.

"Well, I think it's perfectly understandable, we're in a pretty big school." Emma shrugged, and thought for a moment. "You know, I've seen people over this year that I've never even seen before, and they're not freshman! It's like they just appear out of no where."
Emma nodded, looking out at the ocean as she spoke. "Yeah, I'm here for a good bit of the summer, until I have to get packed for school. Thinking about it, that doesn't seem to be so far away.." She sighed a little bit, not wanting to have to go back to civilization.
Her ears perked up at Andrew's commentary on her art, and smiled a little. "This? Naw. I just wish I'd been able to take that higher level art class before graduating. But I've seen your stuff, it's really great!"

Eric sighed. It was finally summer time, where all the kids who went to schools at who knows where came down south, and he was inside the surf shop, sitting at the counter. It was a small shop with a pier that jutted out into the ocean that tourist would pay a dollar each to take a walk on. But for now, he sat alone in the shop around the beachy clothing and surf boards, waiting for the occasional customer to come through and check out what they had. It was right across the street from the local supermarket, and the colorful display out front brought in customers who stopped to buy some food. The wooden floors were cold on Eric's feet, and the wooden walls were covered with peice after peice of beach clothing. Still, it wasn't a bad job. It payed well and allowed him plenty of time to just sit and think and listen to music.

"why dont you just go ahead and...blame it on this southern weather! blame it on anything!" He sang along to a song by The Almost. Bored, Eric decided he would text Henk. He had known Henk since Henk first moved down south three months ago. "Hey, throwin another party tonight? I'll see if i can make it to this one. Stop by the shop when you go get drinks, Im crazy bored."

Once Jessy came up to the surface, her hair pushed back she noticed that there where heaps more people on the beach then she had seen earlier. It was as though in that short minute everyone had gathered on the beach, which was offcourse because of the beautiful weather. She smiled looking up at the beautiful sun shining down above them before her eyes started to hurt. Once she looked back at the beach her vision was all blotchy with different colours. She followed the rest of her friends as they paddle further out to some other people who were surfing. Jessy watched as a girl took a very large wave in to the shore before turning to one of her friends. “Told you the waves down here are awesome,” she stuck her tongue out in a playful manner as they continued to paddle. The water was clearly then she had expected it to be, you were able to see the bottom and from the beach you could see the changes in colour, from white, to little blue to dark blue. Jessy gave the other surfers a soft smile before sitting on her board, straightening up as she watched two of her friends take off. Before turning to the guy next to her, although she didn’t quiet know him she had seen him around her school before, “pretty awesome weather to surf isn’t it?” Jessy shook her hair a little, to stop it from dripping to much. She started to wonder if there would be any good parties or something on tonight as she stared back at the beach. At the same time she noticed all of their clothing kind of scattered along the beach, she was sure that no one would take them since they weren’t the most fashionable let alone seasonal thing around. She would probably still go kick the person ass who decided to steal them.

"Well, hello there," Henk said to the girl that had finally paddled out from the beach,"took you awhile, i have been waiting for you to get out here, did you finally come down South?" Henk had noticed now how attractive she was he would for sure invite her to the party tonight. Speaking of which the sun had already passed mid sky he would have to go prepare for the party pretty soon, that meant he would have to wake up his buddy marko to go on a store run to gather all the booze he would need for the party, he wouldn't charge anything for people to come in, he could afford it this time. After thinking this all through henk said " How rude of me i didn't even introduce myself my name is Henk." With this Henk put put his hand towards the beautiful girl.
