Ivey watched as the norm's walked about. Night had fallen on the sleepy town and her window of oppertunity was fastly approching. "Rayu!" she called into the darkness. slow gracefull steps reviled the sleek red wolf walked from
the shadows. "yes my lady?" his mind voice asked as yellow eyes flashed gold. Ivey pushed as side a piece of raven hair from her line of sight. "we need to hop the ship and prey we are not found by the normals."

five minutes passed and any on looker would see a tall female teen sneaking across the dock and into the well aged fairy boat. A slender red wolf/dog following proudly after head held high.

Nikolai slowly walked through the empty streets of the town as he dragged his guitar case behind him, "Fenrir are you sure this is the place?" he asked as he decided to rest against a wall. Soon enough a white wolf sat down next to him, "You think I would make us travel 30 miles for no reason? You know me better than that Nikolai." the wolf responded as his voice echoed in his head and Nikolai laughed, "I suppose you wouldn't do such a thing." The wolf sniffed around before calling out to Nikolai, "Someone has passed through here recently. We should see if they went in the same direction we are going." The wolf advised as Nikolai picked up his case and followed the white wolf, "The scent is feminine but we must be cautious none the less." Fenrir continued as Nikolai ran his hand along the compartment that concealed his sword, "Yeah you're right but it's not like I don't know how to use this thing." Nikolai responded as they approached the ship that was docked.

Ivey rested her head on the side of the boat. Her eyes saddened at the site before her. Mothers and children cuddled close sharing what little warmth they have. She silently pulled a blanket for the pale colored saddle side. Queitly she walked to the resting pair, carefully she brapped the sky blue blanket around them. The mother looked to her eyes full of unspoken questions. Ivey smile lightly and made a shhhh sign and walked back to her makeshift bed.
" You've always been to kind for you own good." Rayu spoke laying his head on Ivey's lap as she watched the barrely visible clouds role by.

Nikolai silently continued walking along the dock until Fenrir suddenly stopped, "She's close Nikolai stay on your guard we still don't know what we're dealing with..." the wolf said as his ears perked up, "It seems she is not alone. She is with a male but not human." the wolf states as Nikolai began analyzing the information, "Well then'll approach with caution." Nikolai said flatly as he carried his case and walked over to the girl as he spotted the red wolf as well, "So that's what he meant..." Nikolai smiled as he walked closer finally coming into the girl's line of sight.

Ivey looked to the side as she saw the young male and his wolf approach. Rayu stood up quickly and stood be for her as the pair drew closer. Ivey too rose to her feet, fight or flight racing in her head. "Hello?" she asked her voice shaky, from both fear and assuage. Rayu's eyes flashed a warning as he bared his teeth.

Nikolai gave a slight bow, "Good evening." His eyes shifted to the wolf as he silently opened the case and had took his sword in hand making sure that neither the girl or the wolf could see it, "Take it easy puppy I'm just a simple traveler but I will defend myself if necessary." he said coolly as he looked back at the girl, "I'm simply trying to find a way to leave this place and start a new life far away from this country. Would you know anything about a way I could do that?" he asked trying to figure out if she was one of the travelers that was trying to leave as well.

"Rayu at peace for now please?" she asked the stunningly red wolf, that came to rest at her side glaring at the pair. "A faire shall be leaving in the morning, and my apogees for his behavior." Ivey in turn bowed, bring a silver bell from her pocket. She knew that even if they were talking kindly now he might be an enemy. She smiled kindly and looked to the wolf at his side. "Ivey he has something shiny....." Rayu sent as a warning to his master.

Nikolai watched the bell carefully as he continued his conversation with the girl hoping that he would not have to resort to violence, "A ferry? Where is this ferry headed?" He asked as he linked with Fenrir, "You better hope that our pact is sufficient if things get ugly I think if you can give me a little bit control over the flow of time locally I think that would be helpful considering we have no idea what we might be up against." He said speaking directly to Fenrir's mind, "You never stop amazing me kid. You always find some sort of unique solution to potential problems. Alright I'll see what I can do." the wolf responded as it began channeling and altering Nikolai's pact and the overall balance of the power the two shared.

Watching the silent exchange between the two. Ivey placed the bell on her wrist band. "An Island off the coast of Mexico. I have but one request in exchange for the information I have given you." her voice4 low and even. "Ivey what are you doing? Attack him before he attacks us!" Rayu pleaded Ivey. Her eyes flashed as hand started to shake slightly.

"Very well I'll answer any of your questions." he said nodding but noticing the increased tension in her words and body language. "Is something the matter miss?" he asked trying to lower her guard or at least see her true intentions. "If you need something please tell me it seems you are a little on the tense side." he said smoothly as he watched the wolf, "It seems she has the same type of mental link that we have Fenrir." Nikolai said through his link as Fenrir watched the pair, "Something isn't right though... Be careful I still cannot tell if they are our friends or foes." the wolf said as it lowered its head and watched the red wolf.

Shifting her body langue into a slightly calmer one, Ivey looked the man in the eyes. "Do you wish for a battle? I would hope not for it would not be smart for the two of us to fight. But if it is a battle you seek we shall not let you down." She reached into her pocket and pulled out several more bells and held them in hand. "Ivey?! You shouldn't be readying this quickly!" Rayu sent as he crouched down his joints popping as he grew to a larger wolf that rivaled a werewolf. He feared for her more than anything.

Nikolai remained calm as he watched the girl intently, "My my you're quite the feisty one aren't you?" he grinned as he readjusted his grip on his sword but refused to draw it, "I have no intention of bringing you harm but it seems quite the opposite for you." he said with a playful tone, "You will allow a man to defend himself won't you?" he asked as he saw the wolf get bigger. "Seems like your puppy got a little bigger. Tell me miss why are you so intent to bring harm to me?" he asked as he began channeling Fenrir's power through his body.

"Simple a young woman on the run approched by a man that seems a tad bit battle happy, in the wrong side of town you do the math." with one swift movement she was seated calmly on Rayu's back a sad smile on her face. "Sorry to have it come to head like this but come closer and I'll have you miss the next ferry out of this pit hole of a town." Rayu hated when she got like this if it hadn't been for that bastard some time back she probly woulld have tried to have made friends with this man.

"Pity I truly had no intention of bringing you harm but, I plan to ride that ferry and if you plan to harm me for an innocent act I will retaliate." he said in a sad tone as he drew his blade and shut his guitar case and looked at the wolf, "I apologize for any harm I may bringbto your master but I promise I will not end her life." he said as his eyes shifted from his warm compassionate look to that of a battle hardened soul. "I do not know your story but after this ends maybe I will." he shifted into a battle stance it was obvious he was not a novice when it came to the art of war.

Ivey Quickly did the first thing that came to mind she threw the bells to the ground their soft crisp 'bing' floating in the air be for becoming a fairly high pitched wail. Ivey then focused on her own well consoled blade and drew the small dagger like blade. "Sorry but no harm shall come about." with a swift move she was ready to hit a presser point to knock him out, and end this before any blood was to be shed.

"I sorry but I will not fall bybyour hand. All be still!" he shouted as he allowed Fenrir's power to flow out of him and time itself began to come to a halt. With this window of opportunity Nikolai quickly moved out of the path of the dagger and stepped behind her and placed the edge of his sword at her throat and applied some pressure, "Miss please do not go any further I do not wish bloodshed on you." he pleaded but remained strong in his stance.

Ivey smirked and twisted her hand. An ear splitting wail filled the crisp night air. While the man was stunned by the high pitched sound she slipped from his hold a smile on her lips. Slightly staggering she walked over to her companion. " You know Rayu I think this guy and I could get along." with that thought sent she leaned agents the wolf and promptly fell asleep, somehow knowing no harm would come from her appoint.

Nikolai promptly crushed the bell and watched the girl go to sleep, "Geez she's a bit crazy I can say that much. And after all that I still didn't get her name !" he said in his head as Fenrir simply laughed, "I think she's a good match for you you're calm all the time ad she has enough fire for two, I think she'll be a good companion for the road ahead." the wolf teased as Nikolai shook his head, "First thing tommorow I'm going to find out what her name is."

~next day~

Ivey yawned and stretched out like a cat joints popping every so often. Then the memories hit her like a ton of bricks. She looked about their make shift battle felid and found the shattered remains of her silver bells. Sighing she pulled her aged guitar from its worn case. Lightly she began to sing and the silver powder slowly be came all the sparkling sliver bells she had thrown. "You could have gotten yourself killed! What the..........." Rayu stopped mid thought as he saw how intently she was starring into the sleeping face of the male from last night. "You idiot you shouldn't be sitting around you should be hopping the ferry." Ivey turned to face him her eyes bright. "We have a few hours yet. I kinda wonder how they found us."

Nikolai began to awaken when he heard the soft music the girl was playing, "Where am I? Oh that's right I fought that girl last night..." he looked around eventually spotting the source if the noise it was the same girl from last night! "Good morning um... What's your name you never told me ." he asked the girl sitting in front of him. He dusted off his clothing and pulled his own guitar case out and quickly concealed the blade in the case.
