Bio: Yoshimoto was born in 1444 as the third son of Imagawa Ujichika. As he was not the eldest son, he was unable to inherit the family headship directly from his father. This inability to attain dominance over the clan household, a prestige widely sought after in the forlorn era of conflict lead to inevitable tension pivotal to the fate of the Imagawa household. Yoshimoto grew as any noble son had, his militant training was predicated on the basis that he would be an excellent military advisor under the rule of his eldest brother. Yet, Yoshimoto's aspirations were far beyond the meager title of advisor. His avarice and greed forced him to a bitter state to which he imminently seceded from the Imagawa clan, fleeing to a faraway temple where he practiced and perfected his martial skills for a number of years. In this time his 2nd eldest brother perished from illness and strife had fallen across the Imagawa clan. Amidst this chaos Yoshimoto returned as a brilliant, vicious guiding light that did well to lead the misguided people from the rule of his corrupted elder brother, slaying him so that Yoshimoto could obtain rightful ownership of the crown. His realm of dominance spreads across the Suruga Province of Japan, lead by a smaller sized force, his intentions are quite clear. To continue aggressive expansion after obtaining a sizable force, and imminently become the Shogun of Japan.

Bio: Nagano was born in the Totomi Province in 1433, while the ruling Imagawa was still headed by Ujichika. Nagano's early military career was served under Ujichika as one of his retainers. After Ujichika's death, Nagano had intended to continue his miltary service under Ujiteru, the eldest son. However, when Ujiteru suddenly died, and Yoshimoto (the third son) seceded from the clan, Nagano himself retired from the Imagawa Clan and became a ronin. In his wanderings, he passed through Owari, and was offered a military position within the ruling Oda clan by its then new Daimyo, a young Oda Nobunaga. It was a tempting offer, but Nagano politely declined, on the grounds that he wished to explore more options first. Taking the decline rather well, Nobunaga assured him that the offer would remain open should Nagano decide to return to Owari. Since then, Nagano decided to return to the Tokaido Region. After hearing of Yoshimoto's rise to the becoming the new daimyo of the Imagawa Clan, Nagano decided to observe Yoshimoto for himself. But even so, he is torn between either rejoining the dominant Imagawa Clan, or the upstarting Oda Clan.
