Keegan sighed and walked home. He didn't understand why Sophie was getting so upset with him. All he did was paid. When Keegan got back to his house, he didn't even bother stopping to talk to Sophie. He already tried that but she didn't listen. Keegan tossed the bags onto the kitchen counter and stomped into his room where he started unpacking his suitcase for their trip.

Sophie now stood in the kitchen, trembling. "Kee? Kee? There's a massive s-s-spider and it's really big and..and..please help me." Sophie trembled, no longer crying. "Kee??"

Keegan huffed and walked out of his bedroom to look at Sophie. "Just step on it." He said, frowning. He walked into his bathroom and dumped his toiletries onto the counter, putting them away. "I'm sure it won't bite you." He huffed, slamming the medicine cabinet shut.

"It's got one of those coloured backs though..and that's a bad thing I think.." Sophie was terrified. "Kee? Why are you unpacking? Don't unpack!" Soph bit her lip. "Kee! I'm scared and it's like massive." Sophie's eyes widened.

Keegan sighed and stomped out of his bathroom, grabbing a cup and a piece of paper. He let the spider crawl onto the paper, put the cup over it, opened the window and brushed it out. "I'm unpacking because you don't trust me. Why would you go on a trip with me if you didn't trust me? So I'm unpacking and letting you choose whoever you want to go with you." He stomped back to his bedroom and continued unpacking.

Soph walked into his room, closed his suitcase and sat on top of it, her small weight having barely any impact on the suitcase."I do trust you. Your like the only person I can trust, Keegan. I'm only going because your the other person that's going. If it was anyone else I wouldn't go, Kee. Your my only friend."

Keegan sighed. "Then why did you think I was going to do something to you if you trust me? You compared me to Mark Soph." Keegan sat on the floor next to the suitcase and sighed. "Do you really think I'm anything like him?" He asked, seriousness in his voice.

"I don't know, Kee. I'm just tired and over whelmed." She sighed. "Yeah. Your both hot and your both guys. That's all." Sophie bit her lip. "Now..can I get off this suitcase and you'll promise me that you'll start packing? Or do I have to take everything out of your suitcase and hide in it? Because I can fit in it."

Keegan raised an eyebrow. "I'm hot?" He asked cluelessly. Keegan sighed and nodded. "Alright, I'll start packing. Just never, never, never compare me to Mark again, please?" He stood up and started gathering his things.

"Yeah. I won't. Your hot. I'm not. Your skinny. I'm fat. Your smart. I'm dumb." Sophie shrugged and got off the suitcase, flopping down on his bed, giggling.

Keegan frowned and sighed. "Your not fat, or dumb. And your really, well, your pretty hot Soph." Keegan chuckled. He never actually told her that before but it felt good saying it. "Damn, why are girls always so self conscious?" He asked, shaking his head.

Soph blushed. "How am I meant to know? We just are. Maybe because I am fat and dumb." Sophie sighed fiddling with the pillow on the bed.

Keegan rolled his eyes. "I'll pretend you didn't say that." He chuckled. "Maybe it's because you girls like to fish for compliments, is that it?" Keegan teased. He laughed and sat down on the bed beside Sophie. "Either way you look at it, your not fat, nor dumb, get over it."

Sophie sighed and pulled him down next to her, ruffling his hair. "Well I'm not as smart as you."

Keegan chuckled. "But your smart and that's all that matters." He smiled and studied Sophie. She seemed almost perfect. The moment would seem almost perfect if they were together. Together. Keegan remembered Mark. A small sigh escaping his lips. He couldn't ask Sophie so soon. It was too soon for that and he knew it. Keegan would just have to be patient.

"Who said I was smart?" Sophie ruffled his hair again, snuggling into his chest. "Your comfy." She said in a small childish voice.

Keegan chuckled. "I did, just now." He smiled when she snuggled into his chest. "Thanks...?" He raised an eyebrow and sighed softly before wrapping his arms around Sophie. Keegan furrowed his eyebrows. "Are you sure you want to go on this trip Soph?" He asked. Keegan was just hoping she wouldn't change her mind.

"Well you must be wrong." Sophie sighed before grinning. "Yeah! It means your my comfy teddy bear called Kee." She said in a childish voice. "Um. It's up to you, Kee."

Keegan chuckled softly. "I want you to go with me." He said, sighing. Keegan stared up at his ceiling and furrowed his eyebrows. Why did Mark treat Sophie like he did? Keegan couldn't understand that. Sophie was so sweet and innocent, why would he hurt her? Keegan clenched the muscles in his jaw. People like Mark were the kind of people Keegan wouldn't be afraid to beat some sense into. If that little session earlier wasn't enough. He sighed and looked at Sophie. "He didn't hurt you today...Did he?" He asked quietly.

"What do you mean by hurt?" Sophie asked quietly, glancing up at him before burrying her face into his chest again.
