Gregeri was put into the adoption program when she was 15, her parents simply saying that they couldn't deal with her anymore. No one really understood what was so wrong with the girl and it wasn't long before she was adopted. Her knew family knows nothing of her past except for the fact that her parents simply gave her up, though the scars on her hands and back give them a hint. Although she seems completely normal, other than the fact that she doesn't talk much, she is holding a very large secret.

Gregeri can see dead people.

In fact there is one ghost that seems to follow it. He has been with her since she was younger, and is the reason her parents gave her up. As if him constantly moving things wasn't enough, she would also have conversations with him. Her parents tried ignoring it, than beating her, as if this was a form of 'acting up', and finally they just got rid of her.

Now it's time for her to start a new school year in a new town. So what happens when she meets a boy who can see as much as she can?

Gregeri is rather quiet, not wanting to get too close to people in fear that they'll find out about her gift. Other than that though she is very nice and caring, always ready to help if some one really needs it. She doesn't like to talk about her past too much if at all. She finds her gift mostly a burden but at the same time she enjoys the company.
Bio:
Greg was born and raised in a small town as an only child. She had two loving parents for the most part. Her life was almost completely normal with the exception of her sixth sense. She had been able to see ghost ever since she could remember. One in particular seemed to cause problems. Although she saw him as a friend, her parents saw it as a nuisance. At first they ignored it, claiming that she had an imaginary friend and that they simply misplaced things, but when things started to get worse so did her parents reactions. Now that she's with a new family she's not sure whether she's relieved to be away from her parents, or depressed that they didn't want her.

Johnny is at heart a people pleaser. Unfortunately, instead of making friends by doing as he's asked, Johnny often ends up used, mistreated, and ridiculed. He's not always been this way - when he was 11, he was hit by a distracted driver while crossing the street on his bike and by some stroke of luck survived. It was after the accident that Johnny began to see people who shouldn't have been there - the dead. His parents believe that he's still suffering from some sort of post traumatic stress disorder and have him on heavy anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medications that dull his mind. When he skips his dose (which he does often), he's highly intelligent and well-spoken as well as very outgoing and quick-thinking. However, when on his medication, he seems to stay in a fog, having to think and rethink what it is he's trying to say before being able to speak. His grades suffer drastically because of this fact. He's making plans to move out of his parents' house as soon as he turns 18 in 3 months, and has a job that pays well enough to allow him to rent a small apartment somewhere in the city. he is counting down the days.

Bio:
As stated above, Johnny was once a normal 11 year old kid. All that changed the day a soccer mom was trying to dig her cell phone out of her purse and didn't see the boy crossing the street until it was too late. Johnny was hit dead on and was pronounced dead at the scene. However, once the ambulance drivers got him in the ambulance, one of them just happened to notice that he was still breathing. Considered a "miracle" by his parents and a fluke by the doctors at the hospital, Johnny not only managed to survive the crash but also suffered very little long-term damage, though his left leg aches badly when it's cold. After that time, Johnny began to see people who he knew shouldn't be there. At first, he spoke about them openly. His parents, fearing that he had suffered brain damage during the accident, had just about every test run on him possible until a therapist finally suggested that Johnny was "inventing" these people to make him feel safer after the accident. After the decision was made that Johnny wasn't physically damaged, only mentally, his therapist placed him on heavy doses of both anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills. Johnny has mixed emotions about the medication - while it does seem to make it harder for the dead to appear to him, he feels so broken when he take his pills, suffering from confusion and feeling as if his mind is slowed and clouded. He wishes that he could just meet one person who truly understands him.
